A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience! The location is perfect – just a short walk from the metro station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The neighborhood is safe, nice, and comfy, which made my stay even more pleasant. I booked a family room, and it was surprisingly spacious with a separate room for my child. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and the bed was big and cozy. It really felt like a home away from home. What truly stood out, though, was the hotel staff, especially the front desk team. The two wonderful ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Unfortunately, I don’t remember their names, but I truly want to express my gratitude for all their help. We arrived early in the morning, and despite the standard check-in time being much later, they worked hard to accommodate us and allowed us to check in much earlier. On top of that, we had to leave for another city for a few days, and they kindly kept our luggage for us, so we didn’t have to carry everything around. I was really impressed by the service, cleanliness, and overall experience, and I will definitely book this hotel again on my next visit. Highly recommend!

elevator is a bit small, but still lovely.

The staff were extremely helpful and courteous during the entirety of our stay. The location was fantastic, ease of access with metro only a 1-2min walk from the door and plenty of restaurants either on your doorstep or just a few minutes away on the metro.

Some very small items, while not really an issue for us but may be for others. Lift is very cosy, max two people with small suitcase, not an issue for us but may be a little frustrating for larger parties. The metro is a gift, providing transport links to pretty much everywhere. However, if you are a very light sleeper you will hear the rumbling beneath you from the early hours of the morning like from around 5am on. Didn’t really bother us, but we went on the 4th floor.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights un October 2024. The location is excellent, next to the La Fayette and the Opera. Also metro and bus to go to further places are at walking distance. If you have to go to Disneyland Paris you have direct train from close to the hotel. Staff is very nice. Hotel is in a small street so no noise during the night. We chose the family room, with 2 separate bedrooms and it was exactly what we were looking for. Room is big compared to Paris standards.

The hotel is in the best location. There are wonderful restaurants nearby. Close access to Galeries Lafayette and the Opera, as well as all major transportation hubs. The hotel has very polite and pleasant staff. The room is clean, good bed linen. The hotel has a French accent, the rooms and bathroom are not big. Our bathroom only fit one person, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Only WIFI was quite slow. And everything was quite comfortable.

The front desk staff did a great job. Very friendly. Willing to speak with me both in French and English. Check-in very smooth. Appreciated champagne in room though we didn’t have time to drink it! The family room was great to allow additional sleeping room, though a little disruptive to have to access bathroom at night.

The interior view into the center of building provides no view which is fine but the very loud fan that kicks on precludes opening the window as it is very loud.

Location was superb, just couple minutes walking to opera and printemps, easy for hanging out. Also close to main metro and train station, make it faster to access to disney and versaille. Staff was nice and helpful.

As the hotel is very close to train station, there will be train passing by during day time. It seems to be stopped during 11 pm to 6 am, which is sleeping time. If you are not that sound and safe on sleeping, be cautious to pick this hotel.

We've chosen George Sand Hotel based on a convenient central location in the vicinity to Opera Garnier and a couple of minutes' walking distance from Auber RER/metro station, and we never regretted. It turned out to be a very nice choice. Despite designated standard 1500 check-in time, the room had been made up by the time we arrived, and we checked in significantly earlier without hassle. The room was tidy and clean with a cozy bed and a spacious bathroom. All members of the staff were very affable, attentive, eager to help, and efficient. Perfect, calm, trouble-free, and comfy accommodation for a moderate price. Very enjoyable experience.

The elevator, perhaps less than 1 sq m in footprint, unlike the plaque inside indicating it's sufficient for 4 people, is, in fact, hardly fit for two, even with small baggage. No big deal, but honestly, I've never seen such a miniature elevator in my entire life. However, owing to the fairly small capacity of the hotel, we never stumbled upon any crowd in front of the lift or any relevant difficulties whatsoever. We arrived to stay overnight only with a couple of small suitcases, and we didn't have any problems with unpacking at all. But I susspect that people with more sizable baggage and longer period of stay may grumble for the lack of shelves (apart from a narrow compartment with a range of hangers) to arrange their clothing.

The location is fantastic, especially if you're planning on taking Roissybus to CDG. St. Lazare train station is also a quick walk away. The reception was very nice & breakfast was ample and good.

The bathroom shower wasn't awesome because it was scarcely enclosed. It was hard to take a shower without water getting everywhere. I noticed comments about hearing the Metro from the room. At night we did hear the periodic rumble (we were on the (American) 2nd floor/1st floor (French), but it didn't disturb us or keep us awake.

My room was very clean and the bathroom was well appointed with a shower and a bathtub, which is great for bathing children. There was a tiny fridge in the room so you can store snacks and drinks. My room was on the street side and it was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and I slept well every night on the crisp, soft, pristine, white sheets. The location was spectacular because it is five minutes walking distance from Saint Lazare train station. And by underground train, it is only two stops away from Gare de Lyon. I walked to the hotel and could not find my way. I called the hotel and Laeticia at the front desk was very patient and helpful and guided me to the hotel. Sabrina at the front desk gave me some great tips about the city and about places to eat near the hotel. Minhaz helped me to get on my way to Versailles, indicating where to go on the map of the city. It's a lovely, well cared for, boutique hotel in the heart of the 9th arrondissement. The staff provided me with professional, personalized service. As a solo, female traveler I felt very safe and secure at the hotel. I stayed three nights.
