Nice sized clean room with full sized bath. Great location with Metro around the corner, store across the street, patisserie, bank, and pharmacy a short walk. Museums were not far away. The breakfast was adequate with scrambled eggs, sausages, cold meats and cheese, cereals, yogurt, croissants and breads. Coffee was great. Coffee and croissants were available in the PM. Hadger, who was at the front desk, was very personable and helpful with questions. She made our stay enjoyable. She arranged van transport to the train station.

The shower was in a bathtub which had high sides and would be difficult for those with lower extremity issues hard to get into. The half shower door leaked water on the floor. There is a step from main door to get to the small elevator and another to go down to front desk and dining area.

Well, we were in Paris, close to the metro! I liked being able to open the windows, despite it being a little noisy (we were in a city after all). The clerk was helpful in answering our questions. It had an elevator. Many cafes and stores close by.

Small very traditional Paris hotel. Good breakfast, though we needed to wait 15 minutes for fresh scrambled eggs. Super friendly and helpful staff.

The shower cubicle in our bathroom was VERY small.

Excellent value for money - lovely breakfast too! We could walk to many of the top attractions and the hotel was in a perfect area for this.

Location is good. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean, airconditioning very silent. Breakfast very good value for money.

The room had no mirrors except the one above the sink. That is a shame as there was no option to use my accesssories (curling iron) in front of a mirror because the bathroom did not have a socket. Also just to check yourself before leaving the room a full lengte mirror would be nice. We enjoyed being on the 6th floor however it would be good to just check with guests up front if the stairs are a problem (since the elevator only goes to the 4th).

Front desk clerk (manager?) was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and equipped with an electric kettle, teas, coffee (instant), and sugar. There was also a bottle of filtered water and he showed us where we could refill it or our own water bottles. The hotel is very close to a grocery store and the metro . . . and of course, many bakeries. It was a good value for the money.

It wasn't especially hot when we were there, but I kept a window open for the breeze which was lovely. It would have been pretty uncomfortable, I think, if it had been hot since there is no AC. But no AC is typical here. Also, there was some noise from the street that was noticeable with the window open, but it didn't really bother me.

Perfectly located between two metro stations, allowing for easy access to all parts of the city, in a nice area with enough restaurants around, this hotel is clean and staff is friendly and helpful for a very friendly rate (for central Paris). Due to a technical issue the room I had booked wasn't available, they asked if I was okay with a smaller room and included free breakfast as a comp, which was a very good solution in my book and the smaller room was perfectly fine for me.

It was fine for me, but if you are not very mobile, be sure to request a room on one of the lower floors as the 5th and 6th floor are not available by elevator.

The hotels breakfast was very good. For those who might like to cut cost and purchase fresh food to be eaten in their hotel room, Hôtel Vaneau Saint Germain is located near a number of small markets and bakeries. If preparing your own food is out of the question, there are many good restaurants and bakeries to choose, within a 15 minute radius, and if you need to venture further, the subway is just 3 minutes away. Lastly, the staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. You will not make a mistake booking with Hôtel Vaneau Saint Germain.

There was considerable noise, mostly at night, from the main street at the corner and from the bar next to the hotel.

The room was great! The staff was very helpful and we liked the location as a Metro stop was nearby. There was a set-up to make coffee or tea in the room and it was easy to get drinking water as needed. The safe was easy to use. It was within walking distance to many of the places we wanted to visit.

The bathroom area was big but the shower stall was miniscule. You could barely turn around in it. That is my only complaint about the hotel.

The hotel is a perfect location, near the Metro and in a very nice part of town. Lovely cafe's just outside. the rooms were very nice and had everything you needed to be comfortable. We were traveling as 3 persons and booked a triple on check-in triple was occupied so they gave us two rooms for 3 nights! It was very nice trade off. They stored our bags for one week as we traveled lite around England and Holland. Returned on the end and we were given the triple room, and it was just perfect. Desk staff was very friendly and totally accommodating! I will stay there again. Lite breakfast was nice however we hit the cafes as an alternative. Uber can pick up at Front door and Metro is 5 min. walk. Bryan Williams USA
