Courteous and friendly staff Loved the small chalets instead of a massive building,short walk to the beach and restaurants. Lovely Japanese food at the Teppanyaki restaurant. Comfy, spacious and clean rooms. Great pool bar

Food in the Italian place was a disappointment, runny and tasteless polenta accompanied the fish dish. Frozen beef used in carpaccio made it very watery. Dessert was average. “Music” ( raggaeton) in the pool is too loud at times it woked us all the way to the beach cabanas. I think several people must have complained directly to the DJ because eventually the volume was just loud and no longer uncomfortable.

The resort is lovely overall. I liked the smaller buildings, as opposed to large multi level "apartment" style structures one often sees at resorts. The landscaping and the property were beautiful. Our room was very nice and very clean. We only requested maid service every 2-3 days as to not overuse the staff or the water supply, and that was enough. The food was good overall. The selection was good. The "themed" restaurants were nice, but the quality of the food was not better than at the buffet. It was nice to sit and be served. The two pools were nice, even though a bit small in relation to the size of the resort. Chairs at the pool were hard to come by unless you placed a towel early in the day. We did enjoy the beach chairs and there were plenty available. The bartenders were friendly and not too heavy handed. The weather was perfect!!

The mini bar was insufficient for an "adults only" resort - 2 beers, a few sodas and water. I was expecting more. The beach was the biggest disappointment, but that was not the resort's fault. The water was very rough (most days the flag was red) and there was a lot of seaweed. They did there best to clean up the seaweed, but it was too much. I have been to Riviera Maya and the Cancun area several times before and have never experienced this much seaweed.

We liked basically everything, the staff, beach, food, hospitality, and creative list of entertainment.

This place has many exceptional people and great things going for it. Beautiful location, white sa n d beaches, and some exceptional restaurants with great food choices. But nothing topped Kendall. He was the greatest customer service individual I've ever seen anywhere. He remembered everyone's name in my group of 8 from the first afternoon we were there. Every time he saw someone from our group he says hello...makes a joke...just makes you feel good. He was like this with everyone. Everyone at this resort loved Kendall.

The way you make dinner reservations is just messed up. Need to make things easier then first come first serve starting day you want to eat. If I have special meal late in trip and I want a 7 pm res. Can't make that res until morning of meal. Then you may not even get the ability to eat at restaurant you want. I didn't like it at all.

We love that this is a smaller property, so there aren’t as many people. The staff are absolutely amazing and the food is wonderful. Live entertainment in the evenings, as well as activities throughout the day, mean that there is always something going on. Also located conveniently for going on excursions, North or South, without super extended drive times. We have been to this resort multiple times, and always have a fantastic vacation. Thank you for being a fantastic spoof!

Small villas , as opposed to large hotel ; each spacious room has ensuite bathroom and balcony with lovely garden or beach view . Well insulated rooms. Friendly village atmosphere. Very walkable distances between facilities, restaurants and the beach . Clean, and beautifully kept gardens , efficient and friendly staff .High quality entertainment each evening, yet easy to escape to an intimate dinner, or walk on the beach. High standard of environmental consciousness, and for the protection of local flora and fauna. The staff went over and above to make our stay fabulous ! They even left a complimentary bottle of wine and small birthday cake in our rooms to celebrate our 70th birthdays . All restaurants were very good . A very enjoyable stay .

There was nothing I didn’t like .

The entertainment staff were incredible!! Especially Kenddell who made our holiday, so kind friendly and lovely to be around. The food was lovely too, especially the pizza pool bar freshly cooked!

The seaweed was a big problem, we walked across the beach and other resorts on that stretch didn’t seem to have such a big problem. I wonder what measures they’re putting in place to help this? It was a struggle to get a sun bed by either pool most days after 8am. However there were plenty by the beach.

The staff was extremely friendly and very efficient (except for our butler see below). The food was good and the facilities are kept up nicely. The activities staff was great. On a extremely rainy Sunday the staff opened the sports bar early so that we could watch football.

Our butler was not helpful in any way. Dinner reservations were mixed up. It was not until the last 2 days did he send the schedule of things going on in the resort. He did not contact us I had to contact us when we arrived we had to contact him and then meet him when it was raining. The only place we could get food between 4pm and 6pm was the sports bar would have like something by the pools.

this is a peaceful and generally quiet resort, but there was always something happening if you wanted to join in. The food was pretty good, drinks were also good. I thought the bed was very comfy and the rooms nicely air conditioned. The pool was the perfect temperature 100% of the time and the staff was always extremely friendly.

I thought everything was great BUT I think the pool area would be improved with more beach umbrellas and shade in general. Any kind of structure which would provide shade over the pool would be much appreciated because we were all roasting out there

Beach area and beach maintenance was excellent. Beautiful spot. Food was to a very good standard. Hotel grounds were kept impeccably tidy.

There were no steam irons at the resort only hand held steamers which aren't suitable to iron shirts to a high standard. I would recommend people take a travel iron if they think they will need one. A coffee machine at one of the bars near the pools/beach would be good instead of having to walk all the way to reception area for one. The prices in the hotel shop are ridiculously high for even simple things. The resort would sell so much more and make more money if the prices were more sensible.
