We liked the friendly staff and the resort

The resort was under remodeling and construction due to Hilton taking over the next month. Some restaurants were closed and less activities for guests.

Very friendly, not crowded & many things to do

No nightlife. No bloody Mary or mamosa's in the morning as the facility has no alcohol from 11pm-11am daily.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted and immediately checked in. The room was spotless clean and the beds so comfy. Gilberto with room service was great, always dropping our food off still warm and with a huge smile. The pools were nice too. The beach is not blue water but it was expected due to previous comments, however there is a little spot that has blue clear water that we swam in and it had fish (my kids loved that). If you want to do activities book as soon as you can due to space availability. We went snorkeling and kayaking Hector, Jesus and Gilberto were great (not your typical boring guides). Our favorite restaurant was La Hacienda Grill, they had the best food (fried octopus was delicious).

There weren’t many options to eat for breakfast. It was okay food.

Absolutely amazing resort. Great restaurants. All 5 are definitely worth trying....although the pizza place for lunch wasn't great ....there are definitely better options. The resort is quite clean and personal very helpful. Great bonus are the free kayak, bike and snorkeling tours and tequila tasting. There is a show every night which is also great. We didn't have snorkeling equipment but its worth it just tonswim through the river, definitely a unique experience. The nature around the complex is spectacular.

There wasn't anything that we particularly didn't like. Definitely an awesome price to experience ratio with only minor inconveniences like a loud fridge which we turned off or softer beds (but great pillows) insects on one of the beaches. But the other beach was fine and the pools were nice and clean.

Facilities were excellent, beds were comfortable, restaurants were varied.

It's location makes it isolated so it's not possible to get 'off campus' without quite a lot of organisation. The biking and kayaking tours on their grounds are also supervised - probably for everyone's safety, but would still have been nice to independently explore. Entertainment by the main pool is LOUD!

Food was generally excellent. Various restaurants (Il Forno, Hacienda) were very nice. Themed nights (e.g. Brazil at the Hacienda) were excellent. Beach was great - very uncrowded. Hotel itself was also uncrowded - this may have been intentional because of covid. The Covid measures taken at the hotel were reassuring. Dentist on-site was a god-send. Very nice pool area. Grounds including cenotes, small rivers, mangrove forests, were beautiful.

The room was a bit disappointing. We were moved from one room to another that more closely resembled what we were promised with the photos and description. The TV was the size of a cell phone turned sideways. The resort itself could have had more services and stores because of its remote location.

The food is fresh, delicious and varied. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The spa experience was amazing and we also loved the kayak tour.

Not enough shade in the pool area. Sunshades are only available for "premium" guests, which doesn't make sense since a shade cannot be a luxury service in a beach. We had to move around frequently so our 4 month old baby would not get sun burns. Also, this "premium" package which includes shades was not available via booking.

Location, tours, the show, amenities. The tour personnel was extremely nice and helpful. Specially Héctor and Isaac.

Buffet food could be better. The pizza place waiter had some attitude. They leave you a ham snack in your room as a welcome. But when housekeeping came they didn't clean it and it rotted and flies came. I called room service for them to pick it up I was told to leave the plate outside my room that they'll come and clean it right away. And the plate was still at the door at the next morning. It was gross...

When they say is all inclusive it is absolutely, even the mini bar, we e hoy the food and drinks is absolutely amazing, please try the pizza tres rios. They have a bunch of activities and all of them are great even those ones in the family pool. They have a little space where they combine the river and the sea and it seems like a pool, definitely my favorite spot. I also have to congratulate the staff, such a nice and given people it make us feel so great.

We arrive at the hotel and there’s an hour of talk about a program and a meeting with concierge agency, in our perspective such a waste of time unless you have the resources and the idea of make that kind of investment, otherwise please avoid this. This is a family hotel and please don’t get me wrong I love kids, however they have such thin walls that we listen everything from our neighbors, a little adorable baby but they wailing up each couple of hours never let us rest like we wish. Is not fault of the hotel but the beach is always with a cape of grass so you can’t go to the sea I suggest you to take your own pillow and sheets

Great facility, nestled in the jungle, food was good, wine was good. Nice beach and lagoon

the waitstaff would make more money if they were more friendly and outgoing - they need more staff offering drinks by the adult pool. The entertainment at the pool is WAY TOO LOUD for WAY TOO LONG --because of the acoustics, the noise from the entertainment at the pool is almost deafening - couldn't get away from the noise.
