Perfect location on the beach. Great amount of food and drinks for an impressive all-inclusive value. Nice pools and family fun, like the kids’ “mini disco.” Staff is friendly and accommodating, as much as possible.

Pools close too early. No elevators. Different types of rooms can have very different levels of quality. Thermostat in our room was broken, so we had to alternate between having the AC on until we were freezing, then turning it completely off until we were too warm. We also had no shower or sink pressure, just a trickle of water. (To be fair, we didn’t address these issues since we were only staying a short time.) Not the fault of the property, but some other guests and people on the beach made my group uncomfortable due to partial nudity and obvious prostitution situations. Still, the property itself was very family friendly, so we just ignored those individuals.

I typically stay at the smaller boutique hotels. Only stayed for one night to meet some friends who were in the area. The facilities are well maintained. You'll notice someone always mopping the lobby area every 25 minutes or so. You'll notice this across most areas. If you arrive earlier than your check in time they'll allow you to use all the shared amenities (including food) for a nominal fee. If you have alate flight like we did, you could stick around and still enjoy all the amenities until it's time to head to the airport. Be courteous and ask first though. The staff are very helpful. Virgilio (at the reception desk) was very friendly, helpful and easy to strike a conversation with. Amado, one of the more senior luggage valet was quite warm to welcome us, walked us to our room while also giving us a quick guide to the grounds. He made us feel like visiting family.

As with any all inclusive resort diversity of meals and quality will always vary. They have themed nights for dinner (Italian, barbecue, etc). Enjoyment will always depend on personal preferences and is very subjective. Everything in the buffet area was kept fresh and clean at all times. There is a line cook ready to make certain things to order such as pastas, grilled meats, scrambled eggs, etc which is always a welcome feature. Also, the resort provides beach towels but you'll have to leave a $5(USD) deposit per person which is returned to you.

Location of this Hotel directly on the beach , Downtown core + 15 minutes ( 11 km )from Santo Domingo airport , nice big room bed a little hard but perfect, all rooms have furnished balcony . the resort is not too big so nothing is too far away, plenty of helpful staff usually short wait at the different Bars for drinks , it's an old resort yes some of the furniture is not perfect but it's fine , pools are clean, limited buffet options but you're downtown plenty of restaurants less than 10 minutes walk from the resort bank and ATM machine 2 minutes walk .. my fridge kept beer cold in my room ... Next time I pass through Santo Domingo and still want the beach instead of Capital city I will return here ...

I had a big room with a seating area on the top floor so my A/C was not sufficient to keep room cool ( next visit I will ask for a second floor or third floor room not top floor) the pools close at 19:00 way to early day heat not yet gone ...

The rooms were very clean and big, and the staff was friendly. Food was good. Super close to the beach. People need to manage their expectations. This is a true 3 star resort in an undeveloped country and you get what you pay for. Do not come here expecting an America/European experience. I feel most of the reviews here are negative and unnecessary. If you want 5 stars go to Punta Cana. I did not experience any roaches/cold water or safety issues. My air conditioner was blasting and I was very comfortable. Security is swarming the place so I did feel very safe. However, this is not the type of place where you wander off the resort at night.

Italian restaurant food was pretty bad. It's basically non stop harassment on the beach(which I understand, people have to make a living) but when you're on vacation and want to relax it can be quite difficult, so I ended up hanging out by the pool since it was more peaceful.

The atmosphere and energy were great thr staff were amazing and the selection at the buffet was good. It was a short stay and we didn't explore to many amenities due to lack of time but would of enjoyed staying longer

For me and my husband the room was perfect , a little dated but the necessary amenities were there .

I enjoyed that the staff were very helpful. The food was amazing a large variety to choose from. I enjoyed the entertainment shows they put on.

Overall the stay was amazing. The only thing that could be better is that the rooms could be cleaned better.

all went very well! one complaint..i have to wait until midnight to go to sleep as the entertainment which seem like it was for the elderly was just outside my room and the music was extremely loud! i will definitely come back but not to that wing of the hotel. If the entertainment (show) which is excellent, is necessary, by all means "show must go on" i just need to be on the other side, so i can go to sleep..the food and service to by far the best! thank for a great time..be back soon

The location of the property was amazing, awesome staff and renovated/updated rooms were super comfortable.

The only thing I didn’t like was the Snack bar, because food was not covered and food was cold. Besides that, everything else, was very pleasant.

Location was great also pool, food, staff was excellent

The front lobby desk it seemed were not informed enough could use improvement with better training also the housekeeping could use improvement due to bath towels removed from room and not replaced I had to go to front lobby desk and request bath towels twice only after my 2nd visit to front desk I received towels in a timely manner.
