Gorgeous location and surrounding nature. Very tranquil. Extremely stylish decor. Great food. We rented the iglo sauna which was just magic with dips in the natural cold spring right beside it. Loved everything about this place.

Rooms were clean and nicely decorated but clearly bathrooms and floors have been renovated years ago and were not quite as stylish or new. Also the loft in the family room got very warm as we had warm weather (no air conditioning, just fans). Still not a major issue for us.

Pilguse Residency is a large estate with facilities spread across several buildings. During my visit in July, I stayed in a small cabin with wonderful views over the field and towards the lake. The cabin was tastefully designed and furnished and made for a very comfortable couple of nights. The shower facilities in the main compound were luxurious, as was the restaurant, with excellent breakfasts and evening meals. Staff were kind, attentive and helpful.

Fantastic location in the nature, very quiet and private. We gad a great weather, sunny and no wind. Nice walk to the waterline and recommend to try smoke sauna. Great experience. Dining room was also very nice and food&wine good. Good size bed and very comfy linen and pillows/blankets.

The water in the bathroom didn't sunk, as it seems that the tap was totally stuck. Breakfast was great, but we has slightly higher expectations and everything else was so nice.

Amazing place - both outside and inside. Very clean rooms, delicious dishes. Perfect place to spend time with your partner, family. Finally we received bigger room that we booked.

We definitely would give 10 stars however with such price we could expect little bit more: - check in process - guests feel lost. There is no info where is reception desk. Service staff were walking around us but they didn't ask about anything. We felt confused. - no info about additional prices - ex. for sauna - we didn't find such info on booking and also in hotel. We were also not informed about the price during booking sauna. It's embarrassing to ask every time for prices... - air condition in rooms should be as an standard on this level.

The property is a dream vacation spot, especially when coming from big cities. Perfect for those who love to wander around in nature and see animals. Every detail is thought through and the interior design was very idyllic! And hosts are the exceptionally sweet people. We really enjoyed our stay with kids there. We felt like children are very welcome there and also they really enjoyd staying there! Definitely will come back for longer ❤️

The interior of the residence is amazing! Better than you imagine from photos here, staff are really friendly and smiling, food in restaurant🔥 and in many places if the breakfast is included in the menu than it supposed to be something not so good, but Pilguse breakfast 🥞🤌 Will definitely come again!

Facilities and nature

well.. this review was difficult.. Let’s just say that if you’re looking for a hotel with luxorious facilities and top notch infrastructure, then you should consider something else than Pilguse. 😅 But if you’re like us.. you appreciate sustainable values, remote and tranquil locations and authentic atmosphere, then you’ll love it 🥰 We stayed only for two nights here during our estonia road trip, but I believe they were the most unforgettable ones. The staff is truly incredible, super friendly and they seem genuinely interested in your well being. Also the kitchen is worth to be mentioned. Very good dishes and the breakfast is super nice. They even made some portions adjusted for us, due to some of our allergens. 🙏

Location and environment is amazing. So much potential in this place. Breakfast was great.

Dinner didn´t meet the expectations from this kind of place. It was basic good food but was expecting quality restaurant dinner. Fresh and good ingredients which had much more potential that was utilized by the chef.

it is an absolutely beautiful property with lots of hidden treasures. glass cabins where you can lounge after dinner, watch the sunset and enjoy the amazing bird watching.

some of the add on services were a little pricey (ie sauna use.)
