Hotel itself was very clean, we had a nice, spacious apartment. Great location right in the middle of ski village. Nice balcony.

Closed reception outside the season, so you need to enter through the restaurant, which has a separate entrance. Same with entering restaurant - you can’t get inside from the hotel, you need to first go outside, pass a couple of stairs that were most of the time covered with snow, as the internal entrance is closed. It would be nice to have a kettle, plates and some tea in the room, considering the above. Poor quality of food in the hotel restaurant - breakfast was’t bad, although pretty basic. Very nice lady serving everything that we needed, but other meals, outside breakfast were totally not worth their price. Usually I wouldn’t comment on the restaurant, but since it’s a hotel one, and outside season there are limited places open, it’s worth flagging it.

Great room for the price, nice clean hotel with modern upkeep. Staff was great, especially the restaurant staff after hours when help was needed. Nothing bad to say other than breakfast and parking situation.

Breakfast was terrible. First day was slightly better as the next day they had stripped the buffet of a few items. Most items that were available had cleary sat out for a while, and there was nothing hot besides porridge. Also no parking available for guests.

The location was fabulous. A short walk from the gondola and the village express lift, and close to the car park. A great breakfast was included - cereal, toast etc. Room was clean and comfortable. You could store your skis outside on the balcony. The room was warm. I feared it would be noisy at night because of the karaoke downstairs but it never kept us up.

No car parking included - car park nearby was 15 euros a day. No sauna in the hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean. There is no cleaning during the stay. Peaceful and quiet room (to the courtyard). My request for an earlier room and a late check out was successful, thank you, it added a lot of value to my weekend vacation. Location in the middle of the village.

Breakfast is very simple. Breads was dried out!!! No local products available. High price-quality for outsiders not staying. Nothing has changed in 4 years.

Location excellent. Spacious and quiet room. I also liked breakfast, threre was everything I needed even the venue wasn’t cosiest one.

Sauna in the apartment did not heat well. It felt in the sauna that it wasn’t clean, the smell wasn’t fresh. Only one (at the reception) of the staff greeted us.

Hotel Arctic Zone was perfect! The personal was friendly and always ready to help us with any problem. Since it is located right in the center it was easy to reach any facility in Ruka. We recommend it to everyone how is looking for a nice and peacful place to stay in!

Absolutely perfect location, clean and modern facilities and thanks to the Zone bar long opening hours for check-in.

Ski storage would be handy. Now, you had to carry the skies to the balcony which was somewhat cumbersome.

The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The location is the best and the breakfast was good.

Nothing negative to say, but a drying cabinet in the apartment would be useful when playing sports.

Nice big room, decent price (August midweek), good breakfast. We stayed for one night before, and one night after, the Karhunkeiros hike, and they stored our moto luggage while we did it.

The first night, there was a problem that several rooms, incl ours, weren't prepared at all. But it was fixed quickly with an upgrade, so no big deal.

The hotel has a lounge where you can prepare your food (microwawe and a kettle). Included breakfast (buffet). The linin and towels are included in the price. Spectacular view from the window.
