Card only access after hours helped make the place feel more secure. The breakfast buffet was hot, fresh and filling. The room was clean. Staff were very nice, and were able and happy to direct us to places around town.

Would have been nice to have breakfast start a little earlier. A cooler room would be preferable. The placard near the thermostat said "do not set below 18" but personally I prefer a much cooler room to sleep in. I understand not wanting guests to leave rooms freezing, so perhaps look into programmable thermostats that can't be physically programmed by guests, but gives them the ability to set a temporary temperature.

A really nice hotel & lobby. It was beautifully decorated for XMas. Front desk staff was very nice (& they had free cookies for us!). The hotel was super clean, as was our room. The bed & pillows were nice & comfy and the bathroom was very nice & clean.

The free breakfast was cold. Not even lukewarm; but just sitting there room temperature. They obviously need better holding pans to keep food at a healthy temperature. Serving food that isn't kept at a the proper temperature isn't just unappetizing, but can be a health risk.

Bed and room were clean and comfortable. Price was excellent for one night.

I know it's got to be hard staffing a hotel restaurant. This time it was busy in the restaurant, several big groups. The service was mostly non-existent. We got menus and water, our order taken but then nothing. Other guests going to the bar to have drinks filled. Another guest cleaning tables so others could sit. We never got food before we needed to leave. Others told us it was 90 mins before food arrived. Like I said staffing has to be hard but train those working how to do the job. The two front guys didn't have a clue what they were doing.

The front desk personelle were lovely. One agent in particular(I forgot to ask her name, but she said she was fairly new) is very good at her job. She made a point of remembering my name and everytime I walked past the front desk she greeted me, "Hello Ms Cheryl" and would ask me how I was enjoying my stay and if everything was to my liking. I, too, work in a customer service role and often make a point if using my clients' names. It is a skill that is rarely used but it made me feel so special. I will be returning to this location because I felt valued and everything was fantastic!

The lemonade holder at reception is very dated and water stained, drink is not cold-it seems like its been sitting out there for ages. Simple solution would be to replace the decanter.

Friendly staff ..very helpful ..Ry helped us with any of our inquiries..the process from registration to getting to our room was exceptional and fast. The Jacuzzi room was comfortable and great soundproof was great! 2 bathrobes and plenty of towels provided.

Floor level 2 you turn right and exit the elevator and start facing down the hallway looks like the twins onbthe shining will appear in front of you cause of the dark hall.

The location was great and was pretty nearby to a great deal of restaurants and amenities. The room was pretty clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Hot water was instant from the sink and shower.

There were a number of school sports teams staying at the hotel, during our stay, this in itself was not a problem, but did lead to some issues. 1. The pool and hot tub were unusable on Friday night until 10 pm, due to the massive number of kids, it was overcrowded until 10 pm. When the pool finally calmed down and was usable, the kids had used every single pool towel and left none for anyone else. We had to drop dry after using the pool and hot tub as a result of this. 2. We were traveling with our dog and the kids were at point running around and screaming in the middle of night. On Saturday some of them came running up to the door of our room and knocked on it. Our room was tucked away at the end of the hall. Luckily our dog was unfazed by all of this and didn't react.

This is a quality hotel, excellent value for money, and was a pleasure to stay here! Smart, spacious, contemporary room with excellent beds and all the facilities you could need (TV, fridge, coffee machine, microwave etc) and a decent shower (in the bath tub). We only stayed one night and due to late arrival sadly didn't have enough spare time to use the gym or pool. The staff are great. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

The cooked aspect of the buffet style breakfast was fine but not a great variety of choice.

Clean and looks relatively upgraded or newish. Bathroom was clean and not gross or moldy. Room was a good size and there were lots of plugs for phones etc. lighting was decent. Complementary breakfast was good. Food was fresh. I was there when it opened tho. Coffee was good. Didn’t hear any trains and was far enough away from the highway but close enough to provide good access. Staff were nice.

Bed was a tad soft for my liking but there was a decent selection of pillows to choose from.

Stayed in the corner king suite, biggest room. Saw a bad review for this room and i don’t get it. It was very clean and quiet. The nicest hotel room i’ve been in in Red Deer. That was so nice of them. The breakfast has improved, hot yummy pancakes and bacon and eggs. Staff were very nice and made our stay great. We will be back :)

There was a problem with the tv so they moved us to exact same room type and gave us 2 free drink coupons. Tv selection is very limited

Was a good location

We had to call security twice during the night due to a kids hockey team that was out of control screaming, yelling and slamming the doors. Not sure what the policy is but security did not handle the situation like it should’ve been handled.
