Friendly staff at checkin, good breakfast included

It would have been great if there wasnt an extra 200 charge on my card for a damage deposit, plus $ random 14.36 extra charge for what I do no know. I might change this review or update it, when I get that money back in my account. I totally undertstand the deposit, but this was the largest temporary hold of my trip, as all of the other properties released those and they went right back into my bank account. Makes it harder when you are coming to the end of your vacation and you had budgeted for a certaian amount. This meant I had to forgo some activities I had planned, but the stay was overall good.

Walking into the lobby, it was clear that it was up to date establishment . The front staff, was very friendly and helpful. ( we had to change our arrival time several times, and when phoned, it was professional too ) . Walking down the hallway to our room we were pleasantly surprised as it looked like it had just been done tastefully . Then the room. It was like the hallway, looking fresh and new. Everything was so nice and the room was large. The bed was comfortable .. Whole place Exceptionally clean. Oh yes.. nice and quiet. The breakfast was nice with a range of typical 'included breakfast' items. Came away content. The cost was on the lower range of available Motels... incredible value.

What could have been better, I guess could always say the cost, but really that was reasonable. Perhaps a few more stand out items in the breakfast? A simple way to hook up laptop to TV to stream premium channels we have.

We were offered a free break fast and it was fantastic. Enough option to fill the stomach :-). I wouldnt be expecting more than that. Also, my kids liked the option for kids they have, like cereal, waffle and fruit juices.

For this grade hotel, there is nothing much i can complain about. However, if they can take care of the swimming pool a little bit more then that would have been good. but still it is not a complaint, it may be a suggestion to the staff.

I always know what to expect when I stay there. I get a goodie bag with treats and water when I check in, the room is always very clean, the bed is always very comfortable, the water pressure in the shower is fantastic, everything works, the toiletries are good, the hairdryer is right where I need to use it and not tucked away in a little bag that I have to pull out and sort out, the breakfast room is well maintained and has great staff.

Room was clean and quiet. A/C worked well

The parking lot is small. If you have a large pickup like I do (F350 crew cab long bed) parking is difficult at best. My last night I came in late and there were only a couple spots left which none of I could fit my truck into. Fortunatlely there was 1 spot for an oversize vehicle in the back I could use otherwise I am not sure what I would have done.

The kindness of all of the staff I have encountered; the manager, front desk, servers, and cleaners. All workers showed extraordinary customer service and care! I was even offered a beautiful first time visit snack bag and the manager went out of his way to accomadte me to stay an extra night. I hope to visit this location again in the foreseeable future!

I hoped for a bit more of a selection for those suffering from allergies regarding the continental breakfast, such as gluten free breads or turkey bacon. Other than that, it was wonderful!!

It’s a good hotel. I was staying in Surrey for a week and this location suited me perfectly. It’s a quiet location. Next to circle K which is helpful. Close to many of the Banquet/Event halls. The staff are friendly and helpful. Daily breakfast which is good. There is a very good gym and swimming pool, which, for somebody like me who is very active and likes to go to the gym regularly was important for me.

My sons and I did an end of summer trip to a concert. And my teenager wanted a place with a pool. He got to use the pool once , and the next day, it was going to be down for maintenance. The staff were friendly and asked any questions that came up, which there really wasn't any except for the about the pool. Liked that there was a store beside, subway across the street, and Desi Grill behind. If we come back to Surrey again, we will be getting another room from there.

Breakfast had a good selection. Main part of hotel, our room, halls and pool area were all clean. Beds were super cozy. Not noisy.

Hot tub was very hot. Had a hard time actually sitting in it for more than 5 min. We sat on the edge and had our legs in but would have liked to relax and sit fully submerged for 20 min.

Check-in was a snap and the two gentlemen at the front desk were very friendly and offered information and suggestions for restaurants in the area. The complimentary bottle of chilled sparking wine and treats was an unexpected pleasure. While food in the breakfast room was not unlike that in many hotels the breakfast room attendant (Taran) did a remarkable job - looking after everyone's needs and chatting cheerfully with the guests.

King George Blvd is a very busy street so walking any distance was not enjoyable. We patronized three nearby cafes (which were all good) but had identified some others farther away but decided the street was too busy and noisy to walk.
