Friendly staff. Ease of check- in and check -out. Excellent housekeeping services. Convenient parking in Brunswick Square parking lot - especially during a winter storm! The room was well appointed with a lovely view of the harbour.

No food availability Christmas and Boxing day. There were no restaurants open in the city and it would have been nice to have an option to eat as a hotel guest. Parking cost could have been included in the room price instead of an added expense.

We went to see Cirque du Soleil so the location was perfect! The room was simple but comfortable with all the amenities we needed.

I felt the parking was good except that I didn't get anything from the hotel to show that I paid for it ahead of time (when I reserved) so I ended up paying twice. Wish I would have been given more info about that. I also felt the room, particularly the bathroom, could use an update. It felt dated and a little dingy even though it was clean.

Central location. Modern room with a great view of city. Good wifi. Lots of electric points. Despite variable reviews, parking was easy & good (Brunswick Square car park on Union Street, get ticket, pay at hotel reception). Free bottle water. Good coffee machine. Great brew pubs all nearby - Picaroons, Big Tide, Wasted Day.

Bathroom was a bit dated in look (very Marriott) but did everything needed.

The hotel is excellent. Right in the tourist section of St John but not noisy. Everything was clean and worked as expected.

The location. St. John is a little un-impressive (some nice bars but not many). Being a stupid American (not that Canadians aren't also Americans), I booked my stay around Victoria day. Sunday night was quite, as expected, but waking up on Monday to Victoria Day I thought I was in a post apocalyptic movie. Everything was shut down. No people around except for the unemployed. I finally found one Tim Horton's open. Went out to Bay of Funday to experience the tides since they were not closed. In the evening the bars and restaurants were open.

Location was perfect! The Staff, Daniel, Tara exceptional! Everyone else was also very helpful and kind. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. They are pet friendly including our kitty. Many places are labeled "pet friendly" but they usually are dog friendly, but not cat friendly. LOVED this place! Also, parking is secure. We were concerned because we had our e-bikes and cargo carrier. Daniel took great care of us and parked us in a safe location

Sound in the halls was a bit loud, but other than that nothing else was a problem

Spacious, very clean room, right in downtown. Close to many excellent restaurants and short drive to the reversing falls and ferry terminal. We had a lovely view of city and harbour from our window

A little trouble with in room coffee maker but the lobby had great coffee.

I thought breakfast was good, great selections and the staff in the dining room was excellent too. Friendly, efficient service consistently. Hotel amenities were great, comfy beds and the location can't be beat!

I think providing vouchers for only half the room occupants wasn't a great experience. 4 of us in the room, only 2 vouchers...Breakfast for my 2 kids shouldn't cost $50, it's a detterant to eating breakfast in the hotel for families. Great for solo travellers or couples.

The uptown location is great! Close to amenities, nice shops, great restos. The fitness room, pool and hot tub are easily accessible.

There should be “adult swim” hours as I couldn’t use the hot tub without kids in it til after 10:30 pm! Having a place to grab some breakfast food to go, like muffins and yoghurt, would have been nice too.

Location was central to downtown. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were all very friendly and smiled. The whole place was spotlessly clean.

We paid for the breakfast buffet around 9:00 am. Almost all of the food had been sitting out and barely warm. The french toast was cold and hard. I could hardly cut it with a knife.

The bed was super duper comfortable, I think I had the best sleep of 2024 there lol. The staff were amazingly kind, helpful, and delightful. The location could not be better, either. I'll be staying there from here on in when I visit Saint John.
