Execeptional Service. We booked Holiday Inn Saint John for a night on our drive back from Montreal. Due to some issues with our itinerary, we had to reroute our stay. I called Holiday Inn Fredericton & spoke with Brandon Assistant Manager to explain that we were running late and might have to stay the night before Saint John. We were exhausted by the long road journey.& it was already past midnight. Brandon was exceptionally helpful & shifted our booking to the nearest hotel. We reached there by 4 a.m. but they were kind to offer us late check out. We were so touched by the support & empathy. The stay was excellent. Lovely rooms, welcome drinks & fruits in the lobby. Just what we needed to calm & comfort us after a hectic trip.

This place changed my entire view of Holiday Inn and I registered for their rewards program. We stayed at a resort later in our trip that was triple the cost of staying here and honestly preferred the Holiday Inn. We had the best breakfast experiences of our stay here, including chatting with lovely other guests. The beds were wonderful. Loved the bath products. We were very impressed by all the amenities and how clean everything was. We were exhausted when we first arrived and were very appreciative that there was a pub next-door so we didn’t have to deal with driving & parking elsewhere.

Nothing-it exceeded expectations

The Hotel was surprisingly well updated and clean. Easy check-in and check-out. Pool and hot tub one of the best. Used the gym and equipment was great! Nice buffet. Excellent stay.

We went down for our last day breakfast, and the lady working it was not very skilled with customer service. She chewed out another traveller which caught our attention. Figured something may have happened but a bit after when asking her if there was a serving utensil for hashbrowns she growled at me saying she was working on it. She wasn't busy enough to dissappear long periods and talk to a group she knew instead of cleaning off tables or refreshing stations. We waited 45 min for cinnamon rolls but left. None of us wanted to ask her after watching her interactions with other people.

The front desk agent was super friendly and professional. Upon check in he had informed me that the room i booked was a small queen room next to the elevator and that they upgraded my room free of charge. He also did inform me that there was a few little girls running around from a cheer team. Later that evening we went to enjoy the hot tub but it was like an ice bath so when we had informed the front desk agent he said he was aware as several other guests had brought it to his attention and that maintenance had been notified and they were going to correct the issue as soon as possible.

Large and clean rooms. The cleaning service was provided daily. Breakfast was very tasty with good options. It is very reasonably priced for its quality. I liked the fact that there were fountains for drinking water and ice makers. I would recommend it for visits to Saint John.

Perhaps a restaurant on site would be great. Even if there are quite a few restaurants nearby, their quality was not great. It would be nice to have the option to dine in the room, but overall, this is not classified as an issue.

Everything was great. The nicest and cleanest hotel we’ve been to in a long time and it was very affordable. The pool was great. The kids loved it and our dog was welcome there too. The staff were lovely, especially the lovely ladies who served the breakfast. Lots of free parking. Especially around back. Very convenient. Lots of nice restaurants in the area. We’ll definitely be back.

Staff were great, very friendly. They let us check in early which I really appreciated. My daughter had a problem with her computer and the IT staff person on call went out of his way to help, including lending us a cord for the computer. Really appreciated.

There was a power failure while we were there but I think it was a city wide issue, not the hotel's fault.

Clean, large rooms, very nice evening staff - had our room keys already before we arrived. Good showers and plenty of hot water! Large room with frig and microwave.

Rooms on street side were a little noisy - apparently there are a few “muscle” cars around in the city. Not too bad - just every once in a while late at night.

The staff is great. Very friendly. John and Anthony at the front desk are amazing and helpful. Tanya the room maid was extremely friendly and kind. The staff at breakfast too were great. People make the difference in this hotel. I was there with my 5 kids and they all say they love the hotel because people are friendly there.

The TV in the rooms need to be upgraded to more modern ones.

The hotel is clean. The room is very spacious and good equipped. The beds and bedding are fantastic! The breakfast is great.

Location is not very attractive. The very unpleasant moment was that one minute after our check out I remembered that I forgot one pair of pants in the room. I run back to reception and the concierge reactivated my card. When i got to my 6th floor the card didn’t work. There was a cleaning lady nearby who saw us leaving. But when I begged her to open me the door she refused to help. So I needed to go back to reception and ask for help. Finally with all this turmoil we lost 15 minutes and it left me with very unpleasant feelings about our stay. It was unfriendly incident.
