My preferred accommodation in Seoul is Hotel Peyto which is due to the convenience of the location. It's very near Yangjae station - about a 3 minute walk to Exits 1 and 2. It's very near Gangnam - only one stop away in the Shinbundang metro line. There are plenty of buses which stop opposite the hotel. There are few banks near the hotel where AUD could be changed. The rooms are small and compact but have the necessities within the small space. The 6009 airport bus, stops opposite the hotel and it's so convenient to get to Incheon airport in Seoul which costs 17,000 krw. As our flight was in the night, we made use of the late check out option for 11,000 krw per hour. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby including a KFC which is about 10 minutes away by foot.

There wasn't anything which we didn't like. It's only a wish - we wished that there were English breakfast tea sachets available in the room. 🙂

The location was great as it was very near to bus and subway stations. The room was clean and modern and was very quiet despite being on a main street. The cost per night is very good value.

The refrigerator is much too small for any real use. The bathroom and bedroom are separated by a glass wall. Though there is a venetian blind on the glass wall, the bedroom would still light up when the bathroom light is turned on. This would disturb the sleep of my spouse and visa versa. Suggest the glass wall be provided with 100% blackout curtains.The bath towels are very worn and torn; all should be replaced. We stayed a total of 19 days - on the last day, we wanted to extend our check out time by 3 hours - however, we were requested to pay an hourly rate - I thought the hotel should have made the 3 hours complimentary due to our 19 days stay.

The location is very convenient, next to YangJae Station, just a few blocks from Gangnam Station. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable - particularly the bed and pillows. The staff was responsive and helpful to me. I utilized the laundry service, but there is also a coin laundry located on the 3rd floor [which is super convenient] and a gym, as well.

The only thing that I would have liked [which was not available] was breakfast or room service on the weekends. The onsite cafe [and breakfast] is only available on weekdays. Since I'm usually traveling on weekends, it would have been nice to rest and eat in the restaurant onsite, but there are many good restaurants available within a block radius.

This is a very well run hotel. While the rooms are small, I believe this is par for the course in downtown Seoul. The staff were friendly and they have a good breakfast spread. The location is nice, just a short walk to the subway. There is a gym close by that charges $15US for a day pass. Laundry machine on site is a big plus for someone who is staying for a long period like me. This hotel caters to business travelers, but I found it very suitable for vacationers.

Small rooms

Just in front of the bus stop! I always stay here because the airport bus stop is in front of the hotel. It’s also near a lot of coffee shops and Mcdonald’s and 7-11–very convenient location!

All good so far—there’s just a minor problem with WiFi password but they sent a staff to clarify it righr away.

The room was very clean and the free Wifi was very fast. They would leave 2 x free bottles of water every day once they had cleaned my room which I appreciated. Staff were helpful and friendly, they would often book taxis on my behalf or suggest places to eat with a printed map. They gave a 20% discount at their coffee shop next door which was a nice touch. The Hotel location was on a main road but it was a 3 minute walk to Yangjae Station which was very convenient.

The hotel gym wasn't very good. Small room with a lack of equipment, cheap bench which made me feel worried it would break. The dumbells had all the weight info scratched off so i couldn't tell what i was lifting. The breakfast was OK, I was paying around 19,000 KW / $14 USD per day and the quality wasn't great. The food had been out for a while each day and you could taste it.

I liked the cooperation and hospitality of the staff room were cleaned well almost all the time, the location of thr hotel is very convenient with main transport methods and its near by restaurants and cafes

Spacious room and clean. Excellent coffe shop downstairs. They give give a discount if you show your room key. I like their bathroom products.

There was nothing I didn’t like about it.

I did not have breakfast so I could not rate it. Room was clean and essential...what I did not realize was the option I have for clean my stuff. Maybe I was wrong but I did not notice. I used Gym not big but enough for me...I miss big kettle size.

I could not rate bad anything

Simple room setup, yet all essential items are present, particularly in the bathroom. The water pressure is strong. This is my preferred hotel in Gangnam. This is my fifth visit.

The hallway carpet has an unpleasant smell. It might needs deep cleaning.
