Location was quite good as we could get line 2 which was a 3 minute walk away! The room was clean and the bathroom was nice . i cant complain it was great value for money and the staff were lovely and super helpful. Rami Kim was also super helpful and even helped me make a reservation for a restaurant as i was struggling to do it on the local apps. Really pleased with my stay and would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Seoul!

Very modern hotel with good & comfortable equipment. Breakfast was very good too!

The hotel was crowded when we stayed, lots of pupils were traveling with school. The lifts were crowded, we sometimes had to wait for 15min to get in. Same for the breakfast, it was impossible to get in the elevator because they were full of pupils.

I had a fantastic stay at Shilla Stay Guro. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-located, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the outstanding service at the front desk. A special thank you to Miss Rami (morning) and Miss Chloe (afternoon) at the check-in counter. They were incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with every question made me feel truly valued as a guest. Their warm smiles and hospitality set the tone for a wonderful stay. In summary, everything was perfect! The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The hotel also offers a great buffet breakfast, where you can enjoy delicious coffee and a wide variety of foods—a perfect start to the day. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers. I would absolutely stay here again!

The carpet needs a revamp

The property is in a good location, though a bit far from the historical centre, with access to both the subway and quite a few busses. There were many great places where one can eat or go shopping, as well as cherry blossom alleyways for pedestrians along the canal. The bed was comfortable, the view from the 21st floor (where our room was located) pretty good, the paid breakfast very delicious, and the staff friendly and helpful.

The room was quite small, and there were few places where we could store our clothing/luggage. We had to get a bit creative, and in the end made it work. The aircon was set up in such a way that we couldn’t lower the temperature in the room, though we caught quite a few really warm days. How they expect people to sleep in 24C is beyond me. We had to open the window quite often to cool down the room. Apparently they would allow the aircon to cool the rooms later on in the season, but not when we were there.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The spacious room, complete with ample storage and convenient amenities like multinational sockets, made me feel right at home. The comfortable sofa provided a cozy spot to unwind after a long day. The bathroom was generously sized, and the stunning view from the twelfth floor added a touch of luxury. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, with a convenience store just steps away and a train station within walking distance. Plus, the early opening hours of Lotteria and Krispy Kreme made it easy to grab a quick breakfast.

The aircon was struggling most of the days. Lingered at 24 even though we set at 22.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They tried their best and were able to fulfill my special request for early check in on very short notice. Not only that, they even gave us free heat packs to keep us warm during the winter season which was a very sweet gesture! The hotel room is clean and spacious enough for the price you’re paying. Not only that, the location is great too with many delicious restaurants and shopping areas just a short walking distance from the hotel. Definitely will stay here again. Thanks shilla stay hotel!

The walls are abit thin and noises from other rooms can easily be heard.

I truly enjoyed everything! The service was excellent, and the view — absolutely breathtaking. But most of all, I want to thank a very special person — the wonderful receptionist, Semi. Thank you, Semi! Because of you, my vacation became everything I dreamed of — and more. Thank you for your kindness, your attentiveness, and the lovely gifts. I was celebrating my 40th birthday, and you made it truly unforgettable. Your hotel clearly knows how to choose the best people — warm-hearted, professional, and truly caring. Thank you, Semi! 10/10 The location is superb, literally a 2min walk to Line 2 subway that takes you everywhere. Breakfast was lovely with great chefs and tasty food. The rooms were spacious, modern and really cosy, especially the shower. Great view of the city and the best part was how lovely and friendly all the staff were. From the room engineers to breakfast staff and front desk, everybody was so kind and helpful. Even the trainee staff (shoutout to Annie) was so cheerful and wonderful to me and my daughter. Honestly, as our last couple of nights in Korea, Shilla was a safe and wonderful hotel to end our trip!

Shilla Stay Guro is a wonderful hotel with comfortable rooms, a great location, and a cozy atmosphere. But what truly sets it apart is the staff — and especially Chloe at the front desk. Ten points aren’t enough to describe Chloe’s kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism. She explained everything clearly, was incredibly polite, and genuinely caring. I’m especially thankful for how understanding she was when I requested a late checkout — my wife is pregnant, and her support meant a lot to us. I’ve never encountered such a warm and thoughtful front desk staff member. Chloe is a true example of excellence in hospitality. I highly recommend Shilla Stay Guro and sincerely hope you're lucky enough to meet Chloe during your stay — she’s simply the best! Highly recommended!
