This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way possible! Hotel was very nice, clean, close to the airport & cruise port. So close that we could actually see our cruise ship from our hotel room window the next morning. It was walking distance to an awesome restaurant called Anthony’s (which was recommended by the staff) They have free shuttle pickup from the airport and the staff staff was extremely kind & helpful. There’s a restaurant inside hotel, rooftop pool, awesome gym, pool table/games in lobby and they even had live entertainment in the evening. They also had a desk with someone available to book our cruise port transportation for the next morning. The cruise port shuttle was $12 per person and we could select any time we needed. They even arranged for us to be picked up from the cruise port on disembarkation day and taken to the airport (also $12 per person). The shuttle was in excellent communication with us on the morning of disembarkation. We had a 10:40am flight to catch so had to be off the ship by 7am. I texted once we were headed to customs and the shuttle arrived minutes after we left the building. Driver was kind, shuttle was nice/clean and trip was super fast. Cannot say enough great things about this hotel. Will definitely be our go to hotel whenever we’re cruising out of Fort Lauderdale!

very clean, bedding new and comfy, close to the cruise terminal and airport. Lounge area was tastefully decorated and spacious.

the shuttle was not available as there was no driver; we ubered from airport, Management refunded our uber ride without an issue. The desk clerk was overwhelmed as she was the only one on at night(after 11;30pm) she put us on hold several times until she passed us through to some one with the shuttle; this person was very helpful. there was no security avaialble at night. We shared our concerns with a higher level gentleman the next morning. I have no doubt changes will be made as he was very interested in assuring their hotel did well. The breakfast is good, but not free. We got comped breakfast. you order from a menu. Overall, I would stay here again due to cleanliness and close proximity to cruise terminal

Beautiful hotel very close to airport and cruise port. The staff was very helpful. We stayed here after our cruise and they stored our luggage because we were way too early for check in. Then the front desk lady got us in before the 3 pm check in time. I would stay here again!

The price was very high for our first two nights before the cruise, but very reasonable for the night after the cruise. Must have been a popular weekend the first two nights. It cost us $30 to use the transport to the cruise port, but we got a Lyft for only $12 when we came back from the cruise. $15 per person to drive about 2 miles seems pretty high to me. Great hotel

Gorgeous rooftop pool, small but not overcrowded. Rooms were great - spacious, comfortable. LOVED the drybar toiletries, huge window and lots of outlets everywhere. Beautiful!

Only thing I'd say is that the bar/restaurant and the pool bar were all closed. Reception said opened at 4pm but would have been great to be able to get drinks / lunch by the pool.

A new hotel. Great rooms, even some with views. While I was only there night before a cruise, I went to the rooftop Pool and Bar which is great looking with various views!! Shuttle to Cruise Port $15.

A long wait to check in at midnight. But because a couple that had some kind of issue. Once they were gone, woman at desk was quick and very nice.

When I booked for city view I thought I was getting a view of Fort Lauderdale. My room faced the airport.The desk explained it was also considered city view..lol Miami... Eventually the head of Housekeeping Keisha/iesha (shes going to kill me as iforgot her name)...worked magic and boom 5min later I was in a room facing downtown Fort Lauderdale. Thank You Aloft...im looking forward to future stays!!!!

Amazing place to stay. We only stayed one night while on our way to a cruise and will stay again and again. The staff could not have been nicer and very accommodating. We arrived early due to a change with our flight and they had a room waiting for us immediately. We were so happy to just be able to relax a while. The rooms are small but sparkle with cleanliness, bed was very comfortable. Nice table with seating at the The large window to overlook the city in the distance. The shower was very large, clean and included good products for washing and hair. I would recommend staying here for at least a day or more to really enjoy the many offerings they have, including a pool, fitness room, bar, restaurant and so much more.

The rooms were nice and clean and comfortable. The people were nice and helpful. We arrived late and there was 9 of us total. We waited at the airport I kid you not less than 10 mins and it was 10:30 pm. Had to call front dest at 11:30 for more towels the guy was there immediately! The transfer to the cruise port was great too.

We didn't eat there for breakfast. I paid for it in advance but didn't use it. It was lame and microwave items. They need to up the anti! We walked to a diner up the street. We had the city view and it was a nice view at night HOWEVER, it was very noisy and all I heard all night was cars and motorcycles racing up the street. Police sirens (probably chasing them! ) Not the hotels fault my other friends had a parking lot view and didn't have that noise.

Aloft Stylish and modern hotel conveniently located near the airport and cruise port. They have a complementary shuttle to the hotel from the airport. They have shuttle to the cruise terminal which is $15pp. Our room was spacious and well equipped. Wall mounted toiletries in the large shower were high quality. The bedroom is separated from the bathroom by a wall which was partly glass panels and open at the top so turning on the bathroom light at night brightens the bedroom too. Ample room for luggage storage and hanging clothes. A safe is provided. The AC was powerful but not too loud. A shaving mirror on a pivoting arm in the bathroom would have been appreciated. The hair dryer was powerful. They have a small area next to the check for pre- packaged breakfast items and coffee but the food and beverages are additional cost. They only have valet parking- no self parking available. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a Mexican themed full service restaurant in the hotel next door that serves breakfast- otherwise it’s a 20-25 minute walk to the nearest Dunkin’ or Starbucks, both located near a 24 hour CVS. Highly recommended.

Disappointed in the "box breakfast" option. Would have much preferred a regular restaurant setting. The menu for breakfast and lunch was very limited.

We hated the fact that the bar was in the lobby of the hotel. Seated in the lobby/games area ... a fight broke out in the bar. Customers were loud and vulgar and it was totally inappropriate to share this space. The bartender and the hotel staff were totally unprepared to handle the situation and it was stressful for everyone concerned. Luckily the fellow customers dealt with the situation ... but it could have ended badly for everyone in the area.
