Our room was excellent....as promised with a wonderful view of the ocean and the pool was just steps away! The restaurant had excellent quality food and superb service. In getting to know the staff....they felt like family....were very happy, friendly and helpful with suggestions on Kauai's attractions / tours / activities.

The hallways were a little dark.....probably the dark-colored carpet....but do understand as to the color with so many people walking around.

Staff was friendly and willing to help with any concerns. The beach was perfect for little kids along with a playground close by. Was able to snorkel in sheltered pools and still saw fish. Beach showers were close. Hotel provided pool and warm spa and it never felt over crowded. Rooms were decent sized and comfortable. Hotel also provides courtesy room for showering after checkout if you have a red eye flight.

The on-site bar has limited menu. The lobby restaurant is only open certain times during the week for dinners but open every morning for breakfast.

Eric’s wife, Sherry writing her stay at the resort. I really like the property is clean and well maintained. It had everything from tiki bar with food, breakfast & lunch cafe, two pools, and view of the ocean. They have daily activities too. I did a lei making class with some friends. I bet it would be better if we had access to the beach, however due to the storm it was closed for safety reason which is understandable. Keeping everyone safe.

Wished there was room service. They do let you order pick up at the cafe and it was a great reason for me to walk.

The room size and cleanliness, staff friendliness, on-site restaurants, ocean view (we were ground floor with a patio and ocean view...recommended!), and the close beach for swimming and snorkeling (the rock pools are awesome!)

Just be aware that there does seem to be miscommunication from what is advertised with the resort fee vs. what you get. We didn't get a shell lei welcome (it would be weird anyway lol) and free drinks. I didn't ask about it, but if you're planning on that, maybe just check beforehand. The mattress was blown out on one side. Both restaurants are $$ with decent food but nothing earth-shattering. We loved the convenience and view though, so it was worth it!

The room was good, we stayed at the cottage and it was spacious. The location is quite close to the airport and is in close proximity to the Lydgate beach. The breakfast was quite good and comes with sides and drinks too.. Overall the stay was good and the facilities were great.

We booked a King room with safe bed and the sofa bed wasn't good. It was good for a sofa but could not be used as a bed. The cleanliness of the sofa bed could be addressed to make it better

The room was spacious and we got an ocean room so that was nice to wake up to sunrise. There's a beach a walk away which I enjoyed and a bar onsite. Pool and jacuzzi were nice and I'd say this hotel was in the middle of Kauai making it the perfect place to stay and enjoy both sides! Beds were comfy and I slept fine, room service towels and everything else were great! Breakfast on site was also good!

We had some cockroaches in the room. They did address it immediately. No safe in the room. Had to pay a $25 daily resort fee, yet everything offered was routine at most places (e.g. beach towels), or cost still extra anyway, or was not offered during our stay, or was not interesting (e.g. group hula lessons).

I did not purchase the breakfast package. I loved the layout and spaciousness of the cottages and the fact u can literally walk to the safe beach area.

Room had hair in bathroom and sink/counter was still sticky in areas UGH. Kitchen had no supplies. Could really use: basic utiensils: a couple plates, spoons & forks, dish towel. Hated that I couldn’t get wifi most of the time I was in the cottage. Really needed it for work time

The hotel grounds were nice. It probably would have been better experience if it weren’t for the storm that was rolling through.

Breakfast was good , however was the open air dining was a little chilly that morning. I don’t know if there were windows or doors to close but they should have. Also this was booked and paid for though booking.com however I was charged again by your hotel!! I had to be inconvenienced by having to refute the charges through my credit card against booking.com

The Hotel is located next to the Beach Park. It has been maintained well. The hotel has two outdoor pools along with hot tub. Sunrise viewing is a literally walk across the park. We had a ocean view room so could view the sunrise from the window. The hotel also has laundary facility, which was very effective. Also, there was enough parking including a overflow area. The check-in and check-out was seamless experience. It is highly recomended for families with kids. The unique thing is that Lydgate Beach Park is right next to the property, and you can spend quality time both during sunrise and sunset hours and throughout the day too. As we did not avail the breakfast facilitiy, cannot comment on it.
