Views, and location on the beach

Way too expensive. Nickel and dime you charges for everything. Should NOT have parking fees for self parking! No microwave cooking in the rooms or kitchenette. Because of those things we would NOT consider returning. Front desk staff overall not too friendly. Valet worked we liked the best because they were very friendly and personable.

Beautiful property.

Desk clerk had an attitude, and was exceptionally unhelpful. Actually acted kind of snobbish because we booked our room through Bookings.com. This is the second time we have stayed at this resort hotel in two years. We had almost the same treatment from the front desk on our first stay.

It could be a little bit tricky getting your car out of valet because the guys weren’t always there. They were either parking other cars or taking luggage to the rooms. We almost missed getting our car at 5:30 AM to go to the airport because the valet guy was all set to drive the van with a Southwest pilots/crew. Luckily he stopped for a minute and got our car for us. So I think you need to work a little bit on the valet. But they valet people were nice. Since you’re only five minutes or so from the airport, it would be nice if you offered shuttle service

the slide was not working—the kids were excited about that, but sadly it was closed! There was ants everywhere in our first day checking in—we asked them to spray our room and it was better! The beach is right off the resort but not swim able—rough surf—maybe our timing was off… They should include a continental breakfast for the prices they charge—it is one of the most expensive places to stay

Great location. Close to the airport but not close to other hotels. Located on the water. Several pools and a Pool Bar. On site Restaurant was a little pricey, but the food was very good. The Gift Shop sold Starbucks Coffee and also sandwiches if you wanted to grab & go. They gave complimentary water bottles in your room and have filling stations at several places on the property. The room was large and comfortable.

There were not enough pool lounge chairs for the property. We had to go to the pool first thing in the morning and place our towels on the chairs to reserve them or risk having none available later. There is a Pool/Fountain Pump located between buildings 2 and 3. If you were unfortunate enough to have a room near this pump, it was very loud and you could not enjoy your balcony. The pump ran 24/7. For some reason we had to tell them each day to get our room serviced, friends also staying at the property did not have to request to have their room serviced. They were in a different building but not sure why that would matter. Carpet in the first room we received were filthy, we changed rooms the next day. Had to pay $25 per hour for late check out.

Our kids loved the pool and after a long fight; we appreciated the very short drive to the resort from the airport. The resort is well situated on the Island and the resort grounds are beautiful.

I should have checked the room description more closely before booking as the double beds (smaller than queen beds) were too small for our needs. We made do; but it wasn't ideal. Additionally, there was a maintenance issue with our room and we had to switch mid-way through; the staff were helpful in us making the transition. Additionally, there can be a shortage of pool lounges depending on the time of day.

Food and drinks were always good! It is in a great location for checking out the island. Live music at shutters was always a good time. The complimentary water bottles came in handy on the several hikes we went on as well! Hotel and grounds were clean. Very family friendly and would absolutely bring my kids here.

I know a lot of plastics wash up on shore of this beach, just wish they had a maintenance person who could go by and pick some of it up to prevent it washing back into the ocean.

Very pretty property, pools, hot tubs, Rooms are clean with a nice little deck. We ate at the lounge which had a great local band playing. The restaurant looked interesting, but like most restaurants in kauai, expensive. Everything worked well for us, not sure it has a real kid friendly vibe at the restaurants or inside the main hotel. But they liked the pools for sure. Great location to kick off or end your trip close to the airport if you have an early or late flight, 10 minute drive.

It was a casual environment, which is what we wanted. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, the swimming pools were great and the beach steps away. We had a great trip and the resort was just what we needed. We stayed for a week. We didn’t plan on leaving the resort but we did to go check out the island for the day. The resort isn’t convenient to any stores or restaurants walking distance but that is not what we intended the trip for but a fyi to others. The resort has plenty of options for food and drinks though is not all inclusive.

Beautiful and couldn’t asking for anything more.
