I like that our room was VERY quiet and in a corner of the 15th floor in an alcove. This hotel has an open Atrium floor plan. In the past when I have stayed in other hotels like this open plan, I have been bothered by noised from down below in the atrium. By being in the corner, this room was very quiet. I also liked the fact that the hotel was about 2 blocks from Michigan Avenue as Michigan avenue can be VERY noisy with Motorcycles going back in forth during during the night hours.

The free breakfast was extremely crowded!!! We were visiting during the summer tourist season, so I suppose that is to be expected. We chose to go to the Paris Baugette and Whole Foods cross the street after the 1st morning. They had much better food and much less of a crowd. I suppose if you are on a budget, the hotel options were fine but you must realize that the wait for food and chaos creates a long time commitment and hassle, not a very soothing way to start a vacation.

Full breakfast with lots of options and open til 9:30am. Room suite had ample space and 3 sinks! Great for 4 adults. High floor west side had view of the river on Michigan Ave as well as the skyline. Great location for first-time visitors. Off-Michigan avenue was a plus--crowds avoided. Walking distance or short Uber rides to where we wanted to go. Bell staff stored our luggage and then helped us find a cab ride to the airport during rush hour--a life saver!

Sofa wasn't comfortable. Some days the eggs and hashbrowns had an off taste. Pool was closed for renovations--not a deal breaker for us, though.!

I love the location, room and the breakfast. The hotel is right downtown. It is also located across the street from a Whole Foods. On the side of the hotel it’s an AMC movie theatre and a lucky strike bowling alley. You can walk to navy pier. You can also walk to Michigan Ave where all of the stores are. The room is beautiful I like that I had a living room and a bedroom. The room also had a refrigerator and microwave. I love the hot breakfast they serve every morning. You can get things like an omelet or pancakes.

I didn’t like how they didn’t have an airport bus. For the number of people who came from the airport you would think they would have a shuttle to the airport. The only part of the room that needs an upgrade is the bathroom.

The female bar tender on the evening of March 20 was very rude and unprofessional!! We ordered food and when she brought the check I gave her my card as she went to the register I put $10 in the tip jar she opened the payment book and immediately looked for the tip she screamed out zero and glared at me. It was very embarrassing and humiliating. I wish I had taken the $10 tip back because she didn’t deserve it. I kept my emotions in check but had I seen her outside of the hotel I would have shown her what a zero tip looked like. She will keep me from coming back to this hotel.

Great hotel, in the middle of downtown with lots of places to eat and see around it. Large rooms and good amenities. They had my room ready well in advance so I was able to check in early. They provided a personal touch by having my name appear on the two TVs in the suite. Staff was friendly and offered me a WiFi voucher with two free drinks at the bar during happy hour. Complimentary breakfast with a live omelette kitchen and many options around the bar. I travelled here for a business trip but would love to stay here with my wife and dogs in the summer.

Shuttle to the airport would be cherry on top

Great location! Love breezeway to check-in/out & bellhop service! Parking “offsite” able to access direct from building with in&out privileges. Took impromptu 5min drive to Navy Pier (cold winter nite Otherwise would be lovely, quick 15min walk). Beautiful hotel! Love the open feel, glass balconies, glass elevators. Family friendly! Also romantic vibe for couples. Impressive complimentary evening drink/snack offer + snack tray sent to room! Breakfast exceptional-endless grab&go options + MADE TO ORDER hot options! Didn’t use pool but temp felt decent. 2room suite plenty spacious for family of 5 - LOVE separate bedroom/sitting room with actual DOOR between. bathroom needs update in our suite + need detailed TLC cleanliness (corners/under vanity area) Minor, Very happy with cleanliness overall thru hotel. Personable staff. Fantastic value.

-Tiny swimming pool -Small gym -Convoluted entrance and exit to and from hotel room to street level (you have to catch multiple lifts) -Onsite parking is more expensive than ANY local parking lots -Decor and rooms need modernizing, beds and mattresses too -Air conditioning equipment is super noisy and old -Mold on underside of pullout sofa bed mattress (this got replaced quickly after complaining, as it's a health and safety issue)

Room was huge & really liked having the suite to accommodate for when others were up early or stayed up late. The complementary breakfast & cocktail hour was great too! Very friendly bartender. EXCELLENT location, Navy pier & River Walk in walking distance & fantastic restaurants all around!

couches in sitting area very uncomfortable, in-room coffee was not good and we did not get enough, water pressure in shower was awful & there was noticeable mildew. You had to take one elevator to the lobby and then another elevator to access the rooms. This is a very family oriented hotel, not a bad thing except I was not traveling with family, there were lots of kids.

The location is great, close enough for walking distance to all kinds of attractions or food! And of course the views were spectacular 👌 The staff was all friendly and helpful. All were able to answer and questions or help us find our way around. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was Amazing. The rooms themselves were spacious and clean. Offered lots of space, to make the stay beyond comfortable.

Lol the eggs at breakfast on the bar, we're weird but not terrible. And downside was the seating for breakfast it's a happening spot where sometimes there isn't enough room to find a place to sit due to the sheer volume of guests. Wifi was hit and miss.

We always enjoy that Embassy Suites offer breakfast. It seems like there wasn't as many food options as I've seen at other ES hotels, but maybe I just forgot. The location was great, although parking is a bit confusing - if you don't know what to look for when entering the parking garage, you may never find it. It's labeled with a whole bunch of other things (movie theater, hospital), so it's hard to know for sure that you're in the correct ramp. We came from a small town in Iowa, so we're not really used to big city driving, so clearer signs would've been appreciated. The fact that you have to take 3 different sets of elevators is also a bit confusing, but people are very helpful in explaining where to go. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
