I love being on the 17th floor. And the floor to ceiling windows. Option to Crack the window open to hear the city of Chicago. They had options on the TV for sleep noises, so that helped with the voices next to our room.

Would want a microwave. We had to pick and choose what to bring back to the hotel. Sure, it had a mini almost like a makeup fridge but nothing to heat our food with. Unless we wanted to go down to the common area and use the microwave down there, like I said, we were on the 17th floor, so in and out of elevators just to eat warm food. There are plenty of outlets for a microwave. The walls were super thin. I could hear a woman video chatting with her child. I did the same with my own, but I don't wanna hear other people and children who aren't there! But what can you do? Rebuild the hotel, lmao. I would definitely stay there again, tho.

I booked this property at an absolutely amazing price. The room was a very decent size and well lit. The bed was huge, comfortable. The room had enough amenities so that I didn't have to go out for every meal - a fridge for my drinks, a coffee / tea machine, coffee, teabags, sugar, creamer, etc and this was supplemented every day by housekeeping who were all very friendly. Bathroom area had pretty much everything I needed too. Plenty of storage around the room for your clothes and belongings so that everything is out of your way. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from N Michigan avenue which is handy as you have loads of restaurants and shops around. The lifts are always quick and never busy. I had to leave a few days earlier and, aside of the one night penalty fee, I got my money back (and incidentals refund) within a week which is pretty great.

I loved my room 1703 compared to last year. I went to Cubs Convention and for the 2nd yr in a row, I stayed here bc the Grand Marriot 2 blocks south was so much more expensive. The front desk people were very professional and friendly. Probably because I was a nerd walking around with my 3 foot Addison train stop sign to get autographed.

The room adjacent to me (I was in 1703) had a dog that wouldn’t stop barking 2 nights in a row. I didn’t want to call the front desk and make things worse so I just slept with a pillow over my head. But not your fault.

I liked the beds. They look pretty classic but new and comfortable. I liked the decoration and the view too.

I don’t like the bathroom door. It doesn’t have a proper locker. People can see inside through gaps between the door and wall

The lobby is stunning and gives such a comfortable vibe. The game tables, bar and the lounging area is beautiful. The windows to the lobby open to bring fresh area and the bustle of the city streets in.

The cleanliness of the room. The carpet looks like it had not been cleaned in well over a month. I would have preferred if you took it out the room rather than laying it back on the floor. The bathroom also needed some deeper cleaning. The bathroom is always the key to really understanding your cleaning ability. Thank goodness I brought a small bleach spray and cleaning towel. Not what you want to do when you’re trying to rest, but better so you can enjoy the amenities as you planned.

This hotel was ideally located close to the City Centre , Navy Pier and many tourist attractions, with lots of excellent restaurants and shopping nearby. The beds were comfortable and having a (small) pool and nice gym were added bonuses during our stay. The hotel is nicely decorated and very clean

Breakfast options were limited- grab n go style- so we went elsewhere - a restaurant for breakfast would make the place perfect!

The building and rooms are very up to date. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. House keeping was fast with bringing up towels and cleaning the room. I felt safe as you need card to access elevator. & The location is perfect as it walking distance to many things including public transportation, restaurants, downtown area.

Location perfect for lollapalooza! Clean room with frequent house keeping, spacious room with sitting area and mini fridge. The coffee every morning til 11 was an added perk and was very good for hotel coffee! Hotel is walking distance to transit and several food options! Although nearby a hospital was quiet! Highly recommend!

Some fixtures showing some wear but nothing bad

The breakfast was not included but they had a small selection of items. Good for a fast start. The hotel was very pet friendly with a small fee. The two queen bed room with an accessible bathroom was a good design and fit our needs for 4 nights just right.

My only complaint would be the price of the valet parking - but we checked $65 was the standard hotel parking rate for the city.
