Room was clean, cosy and chic. Perfect size and had a terrific view.

When I went to the lobby to relax and do some work, several of the hotel staff were gathered at the front desk conversing loudly and using some unprofessional language. It was very distracting.

The location is fantastic! We stay here almost every time we visit Chicago. The rooms are always spacious and clean. On this trip, both of our rooms overlooked Michigan Ave, which made for some great people-watching.

Everything was fine, but I had expected a king-size bed and wasn't particularly pleased with the queen bed.

they lady at front desk got no good manners not welcome not hello how are you ? she only ask for a credit card and to slide it I look and it was for $60 I ask what’s it’s this for ? she said for deposit I ask it’s the garage included she didn’t response after I ask 3 times, she gave me the room card and didn’t said a word I had to ask that’s it and she looking everywhere in the lobby said yes you done smh

Great price! Location was very good too! Room was simple but felt very old? Beds were nice and clean, air felt good! Bathrooms very clean but small.

The room felt haunted. The building felt so old but everything worked well. Outside the lobby lots of homeless people orbited the area at night. I hated the old carpeted floors.

The room was excellent for the price. Great shower. Firm bed. I had a view that looked north over Michigan Avenue. The price was amazing for a great hotel in this location. The staff was very nice. Fast elevators, which is rare. Very nice lobby area. Starbucks coffee is in the room. I work on the road, and my desk was kinda small. I just needed a bit more elbow room, so I worked on a table in the lobby. There is a bar in the lobby. Decent WiFi. The location on Michigan Avenue was awesome. I was just a few blocks from the Chicago River. If the price is right, I'll stay here again.

I stayed for three nights, but I can't think of anything I didn't like. Oh yeah. There wasn't soap in my room. A roomkeeping staffer was in the hallway when I arrived, and she gave me some soap and was super nice about it. I didn't even mind when a window washer was outside my 11th-floor room.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for the Magnificent Mile as well as the Loop. Many buses stop outside the hotel, including at least one that offers quick access to northern parts of Chicago (and perhaps other places as well). The hotel has an old-world charm (some might perceive this as dated, but I rather liked the character) and I found my room/bed to be very comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate. I appreciated the modern, high-quality shower and the provision of a coffee machine in the room. All things considered, the value for money was good.

The free Wi-Fi was surprisingly poor; I even had to find a separate place to work on one day as I had some urgent tasks to do and I could not maintain a stable connection in the room. Staff were polite but - and perhaps this is partly because I only saw them at check-in and check-out, because the lobby is not on the same floor as the entrance - not exactly warm. I suppose it's a big hotel in a busy part of town, but my two interactions both felt more "efficient" than genuine. The carpet looked rather old and rather in need of a deep-clean.

The location of the hotel is very good centric close to all the main attractions in the city, I had no issues with location perfect. Although I didn't spend too much time in the hotel I had a few interactions with the staff and it was positive, the decor and cleanliness of the hotel is up to standards, the room itself was a bit small but I can see this being the design based on the age of hotel which is 1900 era, it was good to experience something from the past but modern with the touch of comfort, there is a mini fridge no microwave in the room and you also get a safe which was good to have. Although I was there for a short stay my room was cleaned daily and that was something I wasn't expecting and another positive aspect to consider

The hotel charges for Wi-Fi and I think in this DNA Age it should be something that guests should be having access to without additional fees, in addition parking in the area it's a problem this particular Hotel does not have a facility or include parking, there is an adjacent valet parking garage but the charges are way higher $50 plus in comparison to others in the vicinity. If you do your research around you can find options it may be an extra five six blocks but it's worth the price difference especially if you're out of town and you're driving in, other than that you may have to park far away and rely on Metro transportation

At first glance, the room seemed a bit small. Entering the room, it actually felt cozy; the small space didn't detract at all from the charm. The cleanliness of the room was very good. My son and I forgot toothpaste and they main customer service people were so nice; we did not have to go down to the desk to pick it up, they brought it to us! We appreciated the sheet of paper with the various things close by and food and entertainment options near the hotel. The location was excellent, and being so close to everything on Michigan Avenue made the value great for the price. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to the city.

The lack of space for our clothing and parking was a bit expensive were two downsides to this location.

The location is along the Magnificent Mile and close to shops and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance- starbucks reserve, 360 Chicago, Catholic cathedral, Trader Joe’s, Walgreens for grocery stuffs. The hotel is not that new but you can see that it’s well maintained and it has plenty of elevators.

I just wish it has an electric kettle instead of just the coffee maker alone. And slippers would be nice too.

Great location and value. My room was right beside the elevator but it wasn’t noisy.

The room was dark and small. Hasn’t been renovated in a while and didn’t feel clean. (Grimy shower) People smoking near the entrance which made it smell. My room description said there was a view but it was on a low floor so there wasn’t one at all. I booked the small room specifically because it said it had a view. Very disappointing.
