Breakfast was excellent. Large selection. The most important was the front desk clerk. She was outstanding. Her name was Jackie Evans. Prompt service for our booking in and then realized restaurant next-door was having a rap music concert outside. Couldn’t hear yourself think. Phone down to the front desk, which was answered as most hotels do not. She had offered for us to change rooms to the other side of the hotel. My husband was out getting dinner and I asked her to have the room keys for the new room ready to go and tell my husband to bring the luggage cart up with him. She had everything already, and the move went smoothly. She was one of those exceptional employees that anybody would want to have working for them. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Just a bit bigger fridge. Loved the big screen tv. Beds where very comfortable. The room was large with a fabulous shower.

There was a nice breakfast spread. Everything was fresh and hot. The supplies were sufficient, and the staff kept the area clean. When we checked in the 2 young people at the desk were helpful, friendly, and professional. Also, when checking reviews some mentioned lack of cleanliness, and bugs. Do not let that deter you. I have cleaned professionally for 30 plus years, and let me tell you this place was clean. As for bugs! Nope, not a one. And we checked, and checked some more. This is something we do not take lightly. And know how and where to look. No evidence of bugs nor were any present. We were pleased with everything. Can't say enough about how well the staff treated us and how kind everyone was. So rare to get a smile or a thank you anymore. But these young people were trained well.

Very clean and attractive modern location with a great breakfast and automatic pancake machine (fun to watch being made but I didn't get any). The room is a little small but it is clean and I love the hardwood floors. The lobby is a great place to hang out and there is always free coffee and tea available.

I had to wait a short while to check-in because the staff was busy in the office, but she was very friendly. I also had trouble with the lock on my room door and she came up to check it. The hotel itself is a little far from the freeway and there are some old and empty buildings near it.

I liked the staff, very helpful with any requests or concerns. The room was very nice and had more amenities than I expected. I especially liked that there were soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom.

The Mattress was too firm for my taste/body shape and the pillows were too soft and mushy, I needed all 3 to sleep and would have had a problem if I was visiting with a wife or girlfriend. I would have liked fridge with a freezer box if not a separate freezer section. The room was surprisingly noisy especially the last night when someone's dog started barking. The floor seemed slightly sticky when I was walking around in my socks and actually left discoloration on the bottoms of my socks. (I suspect this will wash out.)

largest screen tv I ever had at a hotel. Rooms seemed well insulated for sound, and it had a very "new"-feeling, "notch-above" construction at 5 years old now. Clean surfaces and solid materials. It had an actual shower, not bath-turned-shower, which is appreciated. I skipped the breakfast, as it didn't look appealing to me, but seemed like standard fare.

Nothing really to complain of but for one thing that took too much time. The internet log on didn't work and I needed to use a special admin logon I didn't know about. But there was no easy-to-find number for the front desk to find help with this, not even scouring the internet. And of course there was not a phone in the room to directly dial! (That's like spotting a phone booth now.)

Good staff, clean, good location

Hard mattress was not to our liking. Got to breakfast at 8:30, it was ending at 9:00, but sausage and eggs very salty, bottom of the pot oatmeal was watery, no yogurt, no bread. Not impressed with the breakfast. We are an older couple and didn’t find the decor and style of Tru to our liking. We didn’t find the style “comforting and warm”.

The front desk agent Max was great. He made us feel very welcome. He brought us extra pillows within a few minutes of our asking. He had a good sense of humor and had me smiling. I was really surprised to find that he wasn't the manager. We really liked that there were rooms that had bathtubs. No one has those anymore. That was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner were really nice and I liked how they were easily squeezed to get the liquid out.

The snacks they had at the front desk were too expensive. The pillows were too soft (but they felt ok when we got a couple extra).

Great stay, breakfast was really good. Staff was helpful and informative and very pleasant.

My biggest & only concern was that they kept the pool temperature very cold!! The hotel should have the water temperature more bearable especially in the winter months but I can get their strategy to keep people out of the pool or to minimize the usage by hotel guests, but it should be comfortable to swim in to which it was not. My girlfriend's son who is 12 years old and half polar bear even complained to us that it was too cold but he did his best to swim anyway. I couldn't handle more than a half hour in it.

The room did not have clothing space. A dresser or a closet would have been nice. I don't like that I had nowhere to put my belongings other than the floor. The bedding could have been better as well. There was no blanket, so I had to buy one due to freezing the first night.

The room was nice and very clean. Staff was very nice and available for anything you need. Price was affordable for such a nice room/hotel.

The breakfast was very disappointing. Wasn't always fully stocked or had enough food. Also, the pillows were too soft and the lighting in the bathroom is very bright especially if you only wanted to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Pool is smaller than the photos present it and there is no hot tub.
