The location, the staff. It was clean.

I booked this hotel via booking.com because it included breakfast in the price. When we arrived we were told we’d receive 10% off the cost of breakfast in the new restaurant next door. So we ate there the first morning of our trip and was served a tiny pastries basket which were all stale and cold coffee and two main breakfasts which cost us $60!! Obscenely expensive for mediocre, old and cold food! We didn’t eat there again. We were given a room which was very nice and clean with a frosted window and a view of the building mechanics. It was dark and depressing! So we requested a room change and was given one the following day thankfully. That room was great with a view of the street below which was so much better.

Room was super clean, very large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have a coffee maker and fridge in the room. The location was fantastic. The staff were friendly.

The hotel has privately owned units and at check in we were heavily pressured to take part in a timeshare-like sales presentation. They were extremely pushy about it! Also checkout on the weekend was 10am - that is very early for a mainstream hotel chain and didn’t make the weekend very relaxing.

The location is fabulous for ease of access to the subway. The bathroom was great but needed more counter space. the maid service everyday was top notch.

The hotel location is superb, as so many attractions are located within walking distance: Central Park, MoMA, Rockefeller Centre, Times Square, Broadway and 5th avenue; There are also a few subway stations very close by, so it is very easy to travel within Manhattan. The hotel staff were very helpful and housekeeping was great! The room and bathroom were standard size, nicely decorated, have AC and electric blackout curtains, and I loved having the Nespresso machine in the room.

The pictures advertised can be a bit misleading as I believe most of the pictures are of a suite / studio room, and there aren't many of a standard room, which is what we booked. The property does not offer breakfast or has any dinner/room service, but we were already aware of this when booking from reading previous reviews, so it did not bother us. There are also quite a few of restaurants close by / next to the hotel that have good food. Overall we did really enjoyed our stay at The Quin hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Location was ideal with lots of attractions close by. The subway was directly outside hotel and another line was within a short distance. Our trip was great due to the wonderful warm welcome we received, when we entered the hotel for the first time on our arrival, and every single time we moved in/out of the hotel. Every single staff we met, was friendly and very courteous. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with assisting us with some of the questions.

No bar on site within hotel but there was plenty of options within a short walk from the hotel.

The bedroom was great; very spacious and nice. The best was outstanding, huge and too comfortable; we struggle to get out of bed! Amenities were good, coffee and water in the room were refilled every day; also they provide free coffee in the lobby in the mornings, I didn't realised until days later and we took advantage of that. Huge TV and new streaming services, which were really helpful when we just wanted to relax at nights. The location was great, downtown but without the craziness of Times square; also so near central park that I could jog in the mornings without taking too much time. All workers were great as well, from Front desk receptionists, Concierge to Housekeeping staff. They also provide umbrellas on rainy days, and trust me, those came in handy. The gym is also great, one of the bests hotel gyms I have been; small but so equipped.

There is not a big light in the room, just a lot of small light points, which is not awful, just thought of that missing. And the tub wasn't the easiest to get in and out, ad it was very tall for a short girl like me. Also, during half of our stay, the elevators were broken and we had to used the one for staff, making the waiting very long and frustrating, but those things happen, nothing we can do about it.

As someone who travels frequently around the world, I can confidently say that this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. We spent 7 days here, and every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern, and spacious, with comfortable bed and pillows. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk to Central Park, and surrounded by grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. What truly sets this place apart is the outstanding service. Every staff member we interacted with was professional, kind, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Shawn, the bellboy, who greeted us every day with a smile and a kind word. His warm, positive energy made a lasting impression, he made us feel at home every time we returned to the hotel. Whether you're planning a short city break or a longer stay, I highly recommend this hotel. We will absolutely be coming back!

We loved everything about this hotel. We booked a deluxe king studio plus room and wow the room was huge. So much space for your clothes and suitcases. The coffee maker and mini fridge were very useful. Free bottled water provided daily too. The room was clean, and kept clean daily. The bathroom also huge, toiletries provided - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, mouthwash, hand soap, shower cap and vanity kit with nail file, cotton buds and balls all replaced daily as needed. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The TV was huge! Bathrobe and slippers provided in the room were an unexpected pleasant surprise. A wardrobe with hangers for items. A safe is included within the wardrobe which was useful too for passports and valuable etc. A hairdryer is also provided. Rooms have plenty of sockets, and even multiple usb points. There was also a sofa in the room. Electric blackout blind and privacy blind were great. The blackout blind really worked and made the room dark to help us sleep. All the staff at the hotel were super helpful and friendly. There is an umbrella provided within the room, and they also have umbrellas by the main door on rainy days which you can take out for the day with you for free. We asked for a late check out (12pm) and this was accommodated with no issues. On arrival our bags were offloaded immediately from the taxi and taken to our room with us, which after a long journey was appreciated. We loved the location of the hotel, close to Central Park and right next to an F subway stop which we used often. You could even see the subway entrance from our window. Rooms were soundproofed, outside noise and hotel noise were no issue and allowed us to sleep soundly. Thank you so much for an amazing stay. We would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat, without a doubt the best hotel we have ever been too. And thank you for our lovely gifts on check out - some playing cards and quin hotel toy dog.

I loved this hotel! Our room was huge, there was tons of storage available, desk, tables, a sofa - I could easily have lived here for months, so for a week it was luxury. The neighbourhood couldn’t be better, close enough to everything but away from the more frantic areas near Time Square. The housekeeping staff was outstanding. This was our last stop after two months travel, staying at over 2 dozen hotels. The beds here were absolutely the most comfortable! The room had all the amenities o e could want and they very generously replaced water, Nespresso and tea daily. I would happily stay here next time I visit NYC.

We felt a bit pressured by the doormen/support staff to tip. They were always “helping” whether we needed it or not and then expected tips. For example, calling a cab. We can get our own taxis! But that’s the culture there, something we are not used to

Very good location, spacious room for 2 adults, very comfortable bed. The pillows could be a bit harder.

The pillows were rather too soft for me and my husband too.
