Room was excellent. Cosy and nice. Comfy to sleep. Breakfast was excellent. A lot of varieties. Served very well by all the staff especially Fiza, she attended to my old parents(85 and 89 ) years old. Always ready to help. All other staffs were good too. Receptionist all were ready to attend to us and our needs. Hotel Manager Mr Siddarth greeted us well and also understood our need to extend our room due to aged parents and he was happy to help and agreed. Met us again before we departed. Really appreciate all the help and very happy with our stay. Thank you Hyatt Amritsar.

I appreciated the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. The hotel is conveniently linked to the mall, which adds to the convenience. The breakfast spread was average in variety but very sumptuous. A special mention goes to the Executive Sous Chef, Mayank Pant who was exceptionally friendly and warm, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.

While the hotel does provide a free shuttle service to the Golden Temple, there are a few drawbacks. The shuttle does not drop guests very close to the temple, requiring a bit of a walk. Additionally, the service is limited to just two trips per day—one at 4:00 AM and another at 7:00 PM—with only about 3 hours allotted per trip. This time frame is insufficient for guests who wish to spend reasonable time in prayer or fully experience the temple.

I liked how my special request for my baby’s food was met . All the chefs went above and beyond to ensure food was prepared according to what had been requested especially Chef Mayank , Chef Vijay , Chef Mani , Chef Radhe . I love the fact that all staff are warm and friendly to name a few Fiza , Sahil , Devaraj , Shiva , Bhim .This is my 2nd stay in Hyatt but first with a toddler. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with elderly parents / grandparents and children . Fantastic stay

The time taken to check in . We arrrived early in the morning but check in was really long . And there wasn’t any welcome drink .

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Reeta went above and beyond to cater to us in the restaurant and bar, informing us of club access. Disha was very kind offering us help daily. The staff who came to add an extra mattress topper to our bed and a room heater. The 3 guys that came to unlock our safe. And the manager and fellow staff who helped with modifying the dates of our stay and approving a refund for the remaining days. Thank you all so much. You made our stay that much more comfortable and enabled us to see more of India. The masala tea was amazing. I loved the smell of the foyer. So fresh. Excellent sized room. So close to the mall, too!

We didn't like the hardness of the mattress - there was no spring. We didn't like the constant air con in the bedroom or the fact we couldn't choose to warm the room, only cold or off. But with off, they was a musty or damp smell in the room which was a shame because the foyer downstairs always smelt so beautiful, fresh and clean. I also didn't like you couldn't turn off individual lights. It was all or nothing.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt Regency, and I must say it was one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve had! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and very accommodating. The check-in process was smooth, and I was personally guided to my room, which was spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch — including high-speed Wi-Fi, luxury toiletries, and a fantastic room view. The in-house restaurant served delicious meals with a great variety of options. Breakfast had both local and continental selections, all fresh and well-prepared. The location was also perfect — close to key attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine effort the staff made to ensure every guest felt special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable stay. The whole stay was flawless. I arrived early and was aware that early check-in may not be available. I was greeted at the door by really cheerful and polite staff. The concierge service was exceptional and the luggage was taken out of the car and taken inside. Once I spoke to reception staff, the concierge team offered to store the luggage in the storage room. I decided to check out the spa facilities in order to plan my stay. The spa team checked my reservation on the system and offered a treatment (additional charge) while I was waiting for check-in, which was graciously accepted. I had the hot stone massage, followed by the steam and sauna room- Highly recommend all of this and again the service was exceptional. The masseuse Karma really paid attention to detail and I highly recommend her for any treatments. When my treatment finished, the spa team checked with reception if the room was ready and a member of the reception team brough my room key upstairs, to avoid me going down to reception after a long treatment- I was totally blown away with the customer service! I had the pool view room (highly recommended) and it was super clean with plenty of bottled water & teas/coffees for my stay. The rooftop pool looked amazing, but unfortunately I did not have the time to make use of this area or the gym. The twice daily free shuttle service is reliable and handy for trips to Darbar Sahib (golden temple). I used it in the evening and the next morning. I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and breakfast at the hotel. I am not a tea person, but there were 3 different types of teas at breakfast :) As I had a long drive to Delhi after early check-out, I asked the breakfast team if they can pack some pronthei for take away, and they happily did! Overall I travel a lot and generally don't write reviews. But this was truly an exceptional stay and location is perfect next to the mall too (if you need anything).

Breakfast is nice and tasty, but need to include more items as I find when comparing to other five star hotels. Special need for Non-Veg section it only had fish fry, chicken ham slice. Rest all items especially south indian items are more and good in taste.

The Hotel need to inform well in advance guidelines that Guests are required to wear proper swimming costumes as per Pool Office guidelines. To avoid inconvenience, we recommend informing visitors in advance so they can make necessary arrangements and enjoy their stay.

Our room was booked for 3 adults and it was way too small on arrival, the hotel took there time but did work with us and managed to give us the connecting room next door, which made our stay very comfortable. The pool area is very nice but service is Very slow, we also had a massage at the hotel which was lovely. Breakfast is amazing and you can eat enough not to have lunch. Buffet dinner is nice but if you are eating every evening, it could be expensive as it is around £17 per person. Location is Amazing with a fantastic mall right across the way with great shops. Hotel also offer morning and evening 12 seater shuttle to Golden Temple and bring you back after 2hrs, or you can stay on and get a rickshaw back. This is Defentily going to be my 'GO TO' hotel when next in Amritsar and I would Not go Anywhere else.

From the moment I arrived until the time of my departure, the service and hospitality provided by your team were exceptional. I would like to particularly commend the housekeeping team for their attention to detail and dedication. My room was always impeccably cleaned and maintained, which greatly contributed to my comfort throughout my stay. It was evident that they took great pride in their work, ensuring that everything was spotless and organized. A heartfelt thank you to Mr Vikrant Maini from the Housekeeping department for always ensuring I had a memorable stay at the hotel. His attention for details and doing the needful for my smooth vacation made me fell very much at home. Vikrant had also arranged my logistics and ensured that I was hassle free, is definitely a notable effort for a top notch hospitality experience from Hyatt Regency Amritsar. Vikrant, your attention to detail, care, and professionalism made my experience so much more comfortable and enjoyable. A special thanks to his team, Karan & Shahnawaz. Thank you for your hard work and dedication—it did not go unnoticed. I truly appreciated coming back to such a clean and well-maintained space each day. Additionally, the Food & Beverage team deserves special recognition for their outstanding service and delicious meals. Every breakfast I had was not only a delight for the taste buds but also presented with care and professionalism. The team’s friendly and attentive service made by breakfast dining an absolute pleasure. Thank you, Rajender for all the check ins and the good service. I must also mention Rajat, the reception employee ( guest front desk ) that greeted me and ensured all my check in / formalities / luggage’s, Gudwara transfers was taken care off for my entire 5 days stay.

We had a wonderful holiday and a great stay at Hyatt Amritsar. Our stay was from the 19th of October till the 31st of October.....in between we went to Shimla. A big shout out to front desk Mr Rajat for his excellent hospitality in accommodating our every needs. Not forgetting his team members who helped make our stay even more comfortable- Ms Disha, Mr Sagardeep, Harpreet , Lakshay and Vishal. Well done!
