We were collected from the airport by the hotel driver Mahinder and from this point on our experience at the Fairfield was outstanding. The rooms were comfortable and the location of the hotel was good. The food at this hotel was the biggest surprise. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing - the best North Indian food we have ever had- with excellent service from Vanjh. The hotel arranged excellent drivers to show us around and the area and all the drivers were excellent. Sandeep Singh took us to Wagha border and the golden temple and Hardeep Singh took us all the way to Dharamshala showing excellent driving skills. All arranged by the excellent Mr Gurshan Singh The service from all in the hotel was absolutely excellent. We would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel if you are visiting Amritsar.A hotel is made by its people and Fairfields have chosen well.

There was a slight musty smell when entering our room and the pillows were a little soft.

I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Fairfield by Marriott in Amritsar. The hotel is clean, modern, and located in a very convenient area — close to the railway station and key attractions like the Golden Temple. The staff was extremely courteous, professional, and always ready to help. The check-in process was smooth, and overall hospitality was top-notch.

The only suggestion I have is regarding the room size. While the room was cozy and well-designed, it felt a bit compact, especially when it came to storage space. It would be great if the wardrobe/almirah could offer a bit more room for luggage and clothing, especially for guests staying longer. Other than that, the stay was comfortable, peaceful, and up to Marriott standards. Would definitely consider staying here again.

My stay here was 1st class from start to finish,having been to India many times this would have to be some of the best service I have ever received.From check in with the lovely Kashish who was very patient with me as I checked in around 4am after a long haul flight&was a little tired,he was polite,courteous & very professional.Every member of staff here were friendly & helpful,nothing was too much trouble.The restaurant service was superb,from the fine cuisine cooked by head chef Gurmit & his team to all the friendly waiters who have obviously been trained to a high standard.Rohit in particular deserves a special mention,what a polite,attentive,kind & calm individual,superb at his roll as a manager in a sometimes very busy & hectic restaurant & he never lost his cool,always so professional.And Ajay his assistant just never stopped smiling & was also very professional & attentive.And I can't forget the lovely Manorama who always greeted you with a smile & a chat.This is a hotel that has invested in it's customer service & training and most definitely has a winning team.Thank-you so much for making my stay memorable & wonderful. 10/10😍

This hotel was a wonderful one .All hotel staff very friendly and warm welcoming . You need whatever is immediately available.truely incredible chef Gurpreet singh , This chef realy very kind and good person .chef prepared a delicious dish from my country.it was a very good ,but what a good chef Gurpreet singh .Ristorant staff realy nice and friendly.onece again special thanks for chef Gurpreet sing 🙏. Checkout morning day they brought a wonderful cake to make . I’ll take a foto all the kitchen teams , see u soon .❤️. Chef Gurpreet Singh prepared a delicious dish for me to eat during my trip . I felt my holiday firefield Marriott Amrthsar was like my home and like my family. I sincerely raccomment .

Nothing . Everything was fine

The hotel is maintained at a very high standard. The rooms were adequate for a one night stay. We loved the restaurant and the way the hotel showcased local foods and culture. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.

There was nothing not to like. We first booked at another hotel but on arrival realised that the booking advertised and the hotel was not the same. We then booked at the Fairfield Marriott who luckily were able to accommodate us on short notice and what a pleasant experience. We felt so welcome and safe at the hotel - wished we could stay longer.

An excellent hotel with exceptional staff - Thank you Fairfield Marriott. Breakfast and dinner were both brilliant every day. The cooks would understand our preferences without us needing to tell them and bring out specially prepared dishes for us. The people working here are the most hospitable hotel staff that I have ever seen - huge thank you to Manorama, Gurpreet, Gaurav and Rohit from the restaurant as well as the drivers and security staff as well as everyone else working here too.

It was all excellent - especially with the price paid.

The food, the coffee, the people! Everyone friendly from the guard at the barrier, to the people outside the hotel and the people on reception was helpful. The restaurant was nicely decorated, the waiters were really nice. We ate dinner twice in the hotel and was delicious as was breakfast. The location to the golden temple a short tuk tuk drive.

The hallways, bedroom, dried milk, no teaspoons. We felt it was tired though the bed was comfortable and the room clean. Swimming pool needs a spruce up.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s located in a quiet area, yet still close to all the main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff were very polite and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Sandeep Singh, who accompanied us to the Wagah Border ceremony and took great care of us right up until our departure to the next destination.

Some areas of the hotel could benefit from renovation.

The property exceeded our expectations. We had booked a suite and it presented itself so much better than the photos that we saw online . The service we received from the restaurant staff was exceptional. Manu and Rajan in the restaurant provided excellent service and went above and beyond to make sure our dinning experience was memorable. Mr Rohit the food and beverage manager also provided great service. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the evening buffet was exceptional.

The pool water appeared to be cloudy and unappealing.

The Breakfast spread was really good, with both local and international spread. The Masala chai freshly prepared at the hawker themed tea stall was excellent and the ala carte dinner was also pretty tasty. All waiters were quick to assist with orders, especially Mr Vansh from kitchen and Rohit Singh from housekeeping were very helpful with our needs, and overall staff was very accommodating with our queries and requests. So it was a wonderful stay for the 12 of us who booked there and stayed for 2 nights.
