Nice location right outside the JR Shizuoka station with easy access to the Parche station and the shopping areas in the Aoi ward. I like that there were social media campaigns going on that gave guests gifts such as bar vouchers. The staff are very helpful and have great English skills. Since it is managed by the JR Central Hotels group, and some of the hotels are under the Marriott umbrella, this hotel gives a feel very similar to staying at a JW Marriott.

Interior is somewhat dated, and lighting can be quite dim. TV entertainment system can do with some refresh, although it was okay since I had a laptop PC and a HDMI cable.

I enjoyed this town and the hotel a great deal. The hotel was a stones-throw-away from the train station. Check-in was quick and the lobby staff were respectful and greeted me with a smile. Double-check, but I think check-in was 2 pm which was nice. They had a nice selection of self-care products in the lobby. I felt very secure leaving my belongings in my room. An in room safe is provided. The cleaning staff were meticulous and very caring. I loved walking to the nearby temple and climbing the stairs and walking to the shrine atop of the hill in the early morning. I also enjoyed visiting the observation site with views of Mt. Fuji. The breakfast was amazing. They provide a great selection of breakfast item and also cooked your omelets anyway you liked them. In a nutshell, it was another outstanding Japanese hotel. Thank you very much to everyone.

The location was fantastic, close to everything. We had dinner in the LINKA Chinese restaurant one night and had a beautiful meal. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is also a must, especially the coffee and pancakes, 😋 yummm.

Not a lot bad about it apart from the squeaky bathroom floor, but that is common in the Japanese we stayed in as they are actually pods already built which are brought in and then the plumbing is hooked up afterwards. I would say one small thing is the carpet is very dated and aging, we had two rooms and both seemed to have very stained carpet.

Great hotel and location, the staff are very professional and considerate, beyond even the regular high standard Japanese service. The Hotel's breakfast was amazing, many unique local dishes to try from as well as some western dishes. I didn't order breakfast in advance but when I asked while doing check in they also offered me a great discount if I book breakfast the same day I do check in. Don't know if it's something they always do but it's worth checking. The sound proofing was also great, even though the hotel is practically in the the train station I couldn't hear it at all.

The only thing that bothered me a little was the cleaning, there was something in my bathroom that needed fixing (the staff took care of that in other 10 minutes and still offered to change my room if I would like), and the guy that fixed it left the toilet cover down. At the back there was dust and hairs. After that I noticed other things that were a bit dusty but nothing major.

Being practically at the door step of Shizuoka Station and the department store Pache, as well as many restaurants/eateries, we really couldn't have asked for a better location. The room was spacious and the buffet breakfast was a good spread; the croissants were excellent.

If I can make a suggestion: set up a laundry room with a few washing machines and dryers. That will go down well with your guests.

We discovered this place from our cruise stop and we decided to come here again. The location is unbeatable. It's located at the train station with everything is conveniently located. The nearby fish market is only a few stations away. We enjoyed going there to have fresh sushi. Though our room faced the rail tracks, we could hardly hear the trains at all. There is only one useable drawer and it's small. Wish there are more drawers/dresser so we don't have to live out of our luggages.

Centrally located to Shizuoka Station, restaurants and shopping centre. Rooms were very clean and quiet - could not hear trains located below. Breakfast buffet is good value. Staff were very friendly and most speak english. On clear days we had great view of Mt Fuji from top floor.

We had 3 beds in our room so felt a bit tight with 3 large suitcases. Nothing else we didn't like.

The location of the hotel is very convenient because it is just beside the Shizuoka station. The room is spacious compared to other hotels in Japan. Staff are very approachable and helpful. They allowed our luggages to be kept overnight at their lobby while we had to transfer other hotel to attend an event. My great thanks to the staff of Hotel Associa. They are so kind .The breakfast at the hotel is excellent. All food served for breakfast are delicious.

This is right beside Shizuoka station so it is easy to go around. I always stay here on business but Shizuoka has become a great place to go for leisurely visits as well. I have seen a lot of changes with the people, there are more young people now so there are more things to do for people my age.

There isn't really anything not to like at Associa. It is a great location and there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, shops, and multiple options fro transportation just right out of your doorstep. I've probably spent a total of 30 days all in all at this hotel and it is still my first option when I visit Shizuoka.

We had a wonderful time staying at Hotel Asocia. The staff were really thoughtful and made sure that our stay was as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The breakfast in particular was exceptional and highlighted the cuisine of Shizuoka and Japan in general. Special mention to one of the staff, Ms Taisei, for going out of her way to show us a good view of Mount Fuji from one part of the hotel.
