Excellent location, nice sized rooms that were cleaned daily & fresh towels supplied if requested. Pool or beach towels & free tickets for sun-beds on the nearby beach were also offered free of charge Very helpful friendly staff, nice outdoor bar & dining area & a very relaxed breakfast & decent choice. We had an issue with the air conditioning in one of the rooms, it took a while for it to be attended to & wasn’t repairable within the time we were there but another room nearby was offered & were given some free drinks at the bar & allowed free late check out as way of compensation which was a very nice touch. I requested a bottle of wine & the room to be decorated when we arrived as it was my wife’s birthday & wanted to surprise her & this was done very very nicely with balloons & a delicious birthday cake beautifully decorated. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world but this is up there with the best in terms of being looked after by the staff, simply lovely people!

If I was being pedantic which I’m not there’s not a great food choice on the daily snacks / light meal bar menu but it’s not a huge issue & there are plenty of eateries nearby.

The Rockley is perfectly situated across the road from a beautiful beach, within 10 minutes of Bridgetown and with many dining options in the area. The hotel has undergone significant updating recently with its rebranding from being the former South Beach hotel. It’s interior is bright and colourful with a Barbadian theme. Outside the shaded bar area has been updated and is a lovely place to enjoy the daily Happy Hour. The suites are light and spacious with comfy beds. The kitchenettes are useful for preparing an easy meal or tea for children. Breakfast is excellent with a good choice of hot or continental fare. Having complimentary beach towels, loungers and parasols is a real boon. It’s greatest asset though is the staff who are all professional, friendly, helpful and welcoming. This was our 4th visit and our stay was once again, perfect. For us The Rockley ticks all the boxes and more. It’s become our home from home.

It’s very difficult to find any faults. The pool is on the small size due to the building layout but it’s great for cooling off and for families. But the beach is right across the road so posed no problems for us.

Breakfast was a disaster. Rude staff, all food gone by 8am, fresh omelette being cooked on a gas burner which took forever, so people just queuing everywhere. If you like bacon, and beans and nothing traditional this is for you. Sometimes I ended up buying breakfast afterwards. Pool very small, and when we arrived a certain nationality of people reserved all the sunbeds at 7am, and nothing was done by staff

-We really liked the staff- especially Krystal, Troy and Zion. Everyone was friendly and made our stay enjoyable -Location is across from the beach and the hotel gives passes for free beach chair and umbrella which was awesome; didn’t have to pay or lug around stuff -Lots of restaurants on the boardwalk in walking distance -We felt safe here -Balcony was nice -Room was spacious (junior suite) -The overall vibe of the hotel was fun; they have different events during certain nights and it’s just a fun place -Shoutout to the Khalid Spotify playlist during the days. Music was 10/10 -Good wifi

-Nothing to dislike per se; but the food on the lunch/dinner menu wasn’t our favorite; more greasy than we like -Check in is pretty late at 4pm but thankfully we were able to check in at 3pm -We encountered some mild nasal congestion while using the AC in our room

The location is great as it is right in front of the Rockley Beach. There were a bunch of restaurants within walking distance and a small supermarket as well. After having stayed in an airbnb within the residential area during our first trip to Barbados we realised how important it is to stay at a "good" location such as that on a beach where there are shops and restaurants. Barbados unlike European cities does not have a very efficient public transport and cabs can be expensive and hard to get at times. Therefore, a hotel in a good location can be a blessing and I must say that this hotel was one. The rooms were good and comfortable.

The smoke alarm used to beep frequently at night. I guess its our fault that we did not inform the reception about it otherwise they could have sorted it out so no big deal.

I would definitely recommend this gem of a hotel to families looking for a beach holiday with all the amenities of home. The facilities are well maintained, the breakfast menu had a great variety and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I wasn't feeling well towards the end of our stay and they arranged for another room so I could rest while the children played in the pool and enjoyed the activities of the lounge. The hotel provides pool/beach towels daily as well as chits for beach chair and umbrella to be used at the beach opposite. Lots of food options within walking distance.

This did not bother us as we parked opposite the hotel, but there is limited parking directly in front of the hotel and visitors did not know where they could park when the Chefette car park was filled.

The Staff were exceptional. Always happy and often went beyond the call of duty to ensure we had a good time. The outside area has been upgraded and improved making it a joy whether lying by the pool, having a drink at the bar, or just relaxing in the seating area.

There was sometimes noise from the road but had an insignificant effect on the overall enjoyment of our stay.

Good kitchen facilities, good aircon, nice size balcony and facing the sea ! breakfast was quite which was nice. omelettes and poached eggs we’re fantastic! nice variety of breakfast but you pay extra for sausages and bacon. supermarkets, souvenir shops and food places literally next door! bus stop almost outside the hotel. staff were lovely, helpful and did a boardwalk, giving information! nice pool. get two sun loungers at the beach but not umbrella and still only two even with three of us in a room!

only getting two sun loungers for the beach despite having 3 people. Umbrella’s not included and had to pay $5/$10 !!! paying for sausages and bacon was a shame as just went without for our stay but assume it’s pricey to ship in.

Central location making it accessible to Oistins, Bridgetown, the West coast and Airport. You can step outside and jump on a ZR. Staff were attentive and polite at all times

People not taking into consideration other people when they parked up front. Maybe paint 3 or 4 bays

It’s a fun beautiful property next to everything! Along his route from airport! Near beach food and the staff is so accommodating!! Nice fitness center and everything!! The kitchenettes are nice spacious rooms and soft beds!!! Full size mirrors on closet it’s perfect!!!
