The location is for sure great if you do not need a beach. The price was also okay, most other hotels in this highly expensive area cost a lot more. The standard room was renovated and nice, with no mold. You can reach this property via public bus from San Jose del Cabo for 90 pesos per person. The bus starts at terminal 1 (8 min walk) and you need to leave the bus at Walmart. A taxi would be 80 dollars. We didn't get bothered by timeshare scammers in the hotel and check-in and check-out were quick.

We booked with breakfast included and took the buffet option. Interestingly, the waiters aggressively expect tips for buffet style. I have visited hundreds of hotels, and this is the first time seeing it. The hotel is noisy until 1 am. If you like the sundeck, spaces are limited.

We love the Tesoro Hotel! It's the 4th time we've stayed there in 3 years. We like the atmosphere because the hotel is very relaxed, and the demographic of customers is older, about 50+. We always book a room on the port side of the hotel to watch the harbour activities and it's stunning views. The facilities are very clean, there are always people cleaning everywhere you go. The breakfast which is included is delicious with lots of choices. And you're on the Cabo San Lucas boardwalk waterfront which is strewn with great restaurants for diners to choose from. The Tesoro is downtown so all the restaurants, shopping and for those that club are right there! Also, being on the board walk it's a beautiful walk from one end to the other to enjoy the site of the boats and watercraft activity. The only small suggestion we have is that the music at the pool is aimed at a much younger demographic and a lot of the guests we spoke to were unhappy with the rap and pounding club music. More of a mix of genres from the 70s and up would be appropriate and appreciated by the guests we talked with.

The only thing we'd suggest is that if you are a light sleeper to bring ear plugs because there is lots of activity downtown and it can be noisy some nights.

Booking.com was the app I used to make the reservation and ended up regretting it. I thought I was getting a room with breakfast but ended up paying way more than advertised with out the breakfast. Will never use this app again.

The hotel was beautiful and the view was amazing from our room. Great location to all the restaurants and bars. The breakfast had much to offer. We did not do the all-inclusive since there were so many places off the property to check out. We already booked for next year!

Great location, awesome Marina views, great morning buffet and pool service. The all inclusive service was a la cart, overall good food but extremely slow service at night. We had to wait about an hour for the food to arrive at dinner time.During the day the service by the pool was excellent, special thanks to Alfredo for always checking if we needed anything.

Very slow service at both restaurants at night…Waiters not checking on clients. During the day the food and drink service around the pool is great.

The rom/bed was comfortable. We booked a room with marina view and it was well worth it, providing us entertainment with marina axctivity any time of the day, plus glorious sunrises. The staff was very hekpful and took very good care of us, we had to change the room we got on arrival because it was inaccessible due to a handicap iussue (it could be reached only by a flight of stairs), and they did a lot of work eventually securing us a room on the marina under a fully booked situation. The location is great, with access to the centre of town and the marina activitiy.

The lack of an eating/computer height table in the room. Loud music from a bar at night below the room location. TYhe bar was not part of the hotel, it was a marina hotspot. Quite a long walk from room to lobby or pool. This hotel is large, stretched out along the marina. Some rooms are located up a flight of stairs.

We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Tesoro. We spent 7 nights there during Christmas. The location is excellent and very central to everything. The facilities were good & the rooftop pool was very scenic. Staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The all inclusive menus offered a good choice food & drinks. We particularly enjoyed food from the rooftop for breakfast buffet & lunch from the pool snack bar. The room was cleaned on a daily basis. We also booked the hotel Spa which was very relaxing, would recommend.

On arrival we noticed our room was facing the busy street with nightclubs. If you don’t plan on being out late at night this isn’t ideal as two clubs across the road had extremely loud music until the early hours of the morning. Perhaps this should be mentioned prior to arrival.

This resort has a large footprint in the wharf area of Cabo which is great because the wharf area is very walkable and there is a large amount of water activities to access along with alot of restaurants. Even though this is a large resort they take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of the property. I always saw staff cleaning the public areas including the pool area. The front desk staff was quick to check me in and upon checkout they had a clear report of my room charges. I did get the breakfast included and both restaurants served very good breakfasts. We actually really enjoyed the buffet which was very well staffed and the choices of fresh made food was excellent. The swimup pool bar had good prices on alcohol which honestly really surprised me. The room was a great size including a kichenette, kitchen table and a minifridge. The walkin shower was a good size and included shampoo and conditioner. The air conditioner was able to keep us cool and the ceiling fan was an extra bonus. I will say that during check in there were quite a few spring breakers in the lobby but once I got to the room we didnt have any issues with noise.

The only inconvenience was the time share staff. They tried their best to get me at check in , but what really aggravated me was the 8am call the next morning to my room. We found a way to deal with that and I didn't hear from them the rest of our stay.

Rooms were great. Breakfast was wonderful and had a variety for our grandchildren and the adults . Rooms were spacious with a king bed and a pull out sofa . Pool was cool and refreshing. They could read the audience better for playing music at the pool. There were 4 of us , 2 over 65 and 2 under 7. And the music was blasting so loud!! Not necessary . At one point the speaker was broken and it was the best pool day ever!!!

Checking in!!!! Nightmare!!! I asked in October for rooms next to each other. Our room was going to be in another building!! Went back 3 times . Finally manager gave us a room 1 door away. Now why do they have to do that !!Girl at check in was NOT very accommodating. But the rest of the stay was great
