The pool and view was amazing, the room was great, I’d definitely go back

The old man/owner was really rude. He was not welcoming when I arrived and he questioned why I was there. I seen him yelling at other people staying there several times

Location fantastic. Spotlessly clean and always cleaning the hotel. Great restaurant attached. Nice staff.

I would have liked a fridge in the room. It was only after checking out I saw the option to hire a mini fridge, but it shd be in the room in this day and age.

Being on the third floor wasn't good for me. Last stay, March 26- April 2 was better as we were on the 2nd floor. I requested 2nd floor but none available.

Very cute, charming hotel. Fabulous location. Only a few blocks from the beach & Malecon. Surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes and bakeries. Its location is very convenient to stop in and relax in the pool or rooftop gardens in between walking around or going out for a meal. The hotel is very clean and they work very hard to keep it that way. The abundance of plants and murals on the brick gives it a quaint charm and also adds privacy. The staff is very nice - warm and welcoming - and happy to answer questions. This was our second time at Posada de Roger and we enjoyed our stay this year as well.

Weak WiFi - this was an issue last year as well. It wasn’t a big deal but it does wink in and out depending on what part of the hotel you’re at.

The location can't be beat. Short walk to the malecon, great coffee & tacos across the street, quiet if your room doesn't face the busy street. Very friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable beds, spotless rooms. There's a communal kitchen upstairs where you can keep food & make tea or coffee. Each floor has a purified water dispenser to re-fill your water bottles. Wonderful value for money!

For a group of older folks, the stairs and walking surface were a bit sketchy. Hopefully the new pool deck will help. They did have a nice ADA room on the ground floor for our 91 year old mom. And were very accommodating. Would stay there again.

We love this hotel for its location, cleanliness and the staff. It’s only a few blocks to the beach, Malecon and restaurants/bars. This was our third time here and we keep returning for the reasons listed above. All the staff are very welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the building has a lot of charm and character. Its location is easily the best feature. Not only close to the beach but also to bus stops and there are many restaurants and shops along the street.

Great location near dozens of places to eat, drink, and be merry! Charming place, great staff, very clean, and quieter than some of the reviews would lead you to believe. We walked all over the area and took a bus to the botanical gardens; bus stop was only a couple blocks away. Lots of old town charm and something for everyone. Just a few blocks from the beach with lots of people wanting to take you fishing, snorkeling and parasailing.

If you are very sensitive to a little noise from the outside world, this may not be for you. Being in a very active part of town, you have to listen to a bit of the activity if you go to bed early. We stayed out and had a great stay. The sewer was overflowing in that area of downtown and the road in front of the hotel was wet. We just went around it, it’s México, and that’s part of it.

We loved our stay at Posada de Roger! The staff were really friendly and helpful, we felt really welcomed on arrival. The room was very clean and had aircon. Community kitchen was great to have and there were lots of points around the hotel with filtered water. The location was excellent and we really enjoyed sitting in the courtyard of the hotel in the evenings. Would definitely stay again!

Hotel taxes and fees aren't included in the room rate on booking.com. Absolutely still worth the money and we still would stay but just bear this in mind when booking.

Good vibes, very nice artistic touches. A lot of greenery and flowers. Clean. Helpful staff. Close to the beach and Malecon. Clean pool.

Very noisy from the outside even though we were on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately, we were in a corner room (315) so we got the noise from two busy streets (and restaurants). Quite flat pillows. Sink somewhat slow. Showerhead sprinkling in all directions. Not enough chairs in the room. Only one fridge in the community kitchen, which is not enough for all tourists and cleaning staff.

I've always enjoyed staying here. Great facility and rooms. Close to everything in old Town and five minutes to my favorite beach.

The price per night was a lot higher than in previous years. People I talked too noticed the same thing where they were staying. Have to lower the prices if you want to get them back. The locals told me that this was the slowest January they've seen for tourists. They didn't see a lot of people they usually do.
