Compact hotel. You can reach everything within a few minutes walk. Stroller appropriate. Could reach all facilities with a stroller. Just a bit longer walk sometimes. Many pools that connect. Bar in the pool. Separatly is kids area and kids pool with shade and some slides. Food comes with a great variety. Make sure to ask on the front desk how to book restaurants on the app. Marko Pollo has very delicious meals and desserts. Stuff is very nice and accommodating (but we tipped as well) Theater performance are running everyday and they were very fun and entertaining

Beach is very short and rocky. Impossible to swim in the ocean. We went a few times with caution. Property build in 70s but renovated in 00s, so it has a good look but you can tell it's older. Some rooms had a smell of mold. No wonder as it is so humid there but still this should have been cleaned on a regular basis. All pools have very loud music, including kids one, so the only escape is to go to the ocean.

The buffet food was good quality. The reservation-only restaurants were great quality! The activity staff at the pool kept the mood lively. The resort is very close to the cancun airport (10-15min). The hotel staff was very helpful when I had questions. The location was beautiful, rooms were always cleaned well, and the resort was well taken care of. Overall, it is a great price for the quality of food and services provided.

The resort has a decent amount of activities, but if you're staying longer than a week, you may start to have to venture out or risk getting bored. The alcoholic drinks offered by bar staff were almost always lacking in alcohol (I'm a light drinker, by the way). In order for your drinks to have more kick, I recommend you visibly tip before the bartender starts your drinks. I was informed by a staff member that this resort's ocean beach almost always experiences high tide, meaning swimming is not allowed in the ocean where there are red flags planted in the sand. The lifeguards permit entry into the ocean but not too far either because of the danger of the strong ocean waves.

We had wonderful time at this resort, loved the pool side snack bars n pizza place.resprt had organized so many entertainment programs and activities throughout the day, we spent all day at pool side...so many options to eat in different restaurants...Armando at Veneto, Ivan at Marco Polo and other staff made sure we get to eat the best of vegetarian options they had..Linda from Pizzatalisma was really good with her pizzas... evening programs to keep guests busy.definitely recommended. Note: Make sure you ask price for shuttle transportation from airport to n fro to resort, beforehand...they didn't inform us prior and added the cost while check out .

Concierge people n staff were not so helpful and didn't understand and wasted our time...we had to explain same issue to 4 different people at reception and this wasting 1 hour before flight time.

The food option was very wide and there was always always food available for consumption I was very impressed and satisfied with this . The availability for drinks was the same . The affiliated restaurants was very good . Excellent facilities hospitality.

The plastic glasses was not to my liking some was over use and needed change a better quality would be better. Reusable hard plastic glasses probably sanitize with heated.

Access to all 3 Solaris Resorts. Good Staff. Amazing Room with the Ocean View Contrary to reviews on the Air Conditioning in the room, the room my Family and I got was amazing.

1) We were upgraded to GR Solaris even though the booking was for Royal Solaris but the restaurant options were better at Royal Solaris so to get a reservation on the hotels for dinner was a bit tiresome on Royal Solaris since we got upgraded to GR Solaris 2) Internet was downright well below any Hotel/Resort Standard so a massive improvement needs to be done. Brilliant Internet at the lobby is not good enough

My stay here was amazing. We travelled as a large family group. The resort is by the beach. The price of the room covers your stay plus breakfast, lunch , dinner, snacks and any drinks you take. The only thing not covered is a visit to the spa and extra activities like jet ski or parasailing. The food was great, drinks were awesome, everything was in abundance. There were a variety of restaurants to choose from but my personal favourite is La Fuentes. The staff were polite and friendly. Facilities were good. I will recommend this place over and over again.

The toilet flushes were not the best, you have to flush multiple times to clear the toilet but toilets were clean.

Great location of the property. I loved that we had access to both Royal Solaris and Grand Solaris properties. The activities throughout the day were great. The lagoon was fun to use, golfing, the pools, jacuzzis. The beach was beautiful, although the wind and big waves prevented us from going in the water a few days. Overall, it’s well worth the value and I’m a good/safe location

Everything was fantastic. The food wasn’t the greatest, but doable. For the value, this hotel was worth it

Alcohol beverages, didn’t have alcohol and that was a huge disappointment!!!

We like the fact that guests in Royal Solaris have shared access to GR caribe's facility and restaurants. Our dinner at the Bogavante restaurant in GR caribe in one of our highlight. We're also glad that we pick Royal Solaris over GR caribe. As a family, Royal Solaris is more kid-friendly than GR caribe (for example the spa pool in GR caribe is adult only). Enjoyed my morning run to the near by Playa Delfines. But the location is far from downtown Cancun.

Wifi at 6th floor is spotty and I had to go to the lobby to use internet. Dinner in the buffet restaurant (Las Fuentes) is not on par with other restaurants. The evening show is too loud for our kids. The performance look great but we have to leave after 10 min because our kids' ears hurt.
