Clean, quiet, pleasant staff, fantastic food!

The property was amazing with its unique architecture and structure. The location is perfect, 10-15 minutes from the airport and just a quick bus ride from downtown. The on-site convenience store has everything needed for a week's stay. The Casa Del Mar restaurant is excellent and covers all the bases from breakfast, drinks, snacks and dinner. Views from our room admiring the beautiful infinity pool made you hurry down for a swim every day. We will definitely plan on staying there again on our next trip to Cancún.

We couldn't stay longer...

We loved that it was far and away from the bustle of the major hotels and restaurants. We understood that it is an aging property that has been updated in the rooms to meet our expectations. When we needed assistance from Daniela, we got it. Since we, too, had worked here 32 years ago, we really enjoyed our return visit. Wow! Has Cancun changed! I highly recommend this property for the budget traveler. Don't come here and have expectations that cannot be met. Go to the Marriott for that. It's only a mile up the road.

EVERYTHING. The friendly welcome reception, guidance of the property, the facility, , , everything. The room (We chose the double room with balcony) was big enough (40m2) for us the family of 3. The pool was large and directly open to the beach, where we saw 3 turtles coming ashore to lay eggs (July 10th, full moon, apparently high season). We only stayed one night (amid activity packed, tiring, self driving trip) and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

NOTHING. My wife & daughter were complaining why I did not book 2 nights.

Beach was beautiful. Room was spacious. Air conditioning great. View was nice. Restaurant was very good, although the staff were a bit forgetful and slow. Price was average to high. Beach out front was beautiful although very wavy. Red flag every day. Lifeguard on duty. Not many beach vendors bothering us. A few in a couple hours. Small convience store on site. Decent prices. Has booze and snacks. Oxo across street has good tacos. Easy bus ride up town.

Not many places around to explore without walking or taking a bus. Place needs a bit of an updo. Pool was nice with a view. Can't have drinks near pool and no food by pool. Very shallow. Up to my chest. Showered, no hot water in room, just tepid. hard to navigate levels of hotel, people were lost. Maybe needs another food or drink restaurant.

Clean and spacious rooms with lovely views of the pool and the beautiful beach. There is a culture of putting towels on sun loungers from early morning but then those people not being on them for half the day which would annoy me if I'd stayed there more than 1 night! Also, there aren't many great food options within short walk distance which is a bit of a challenge if yoi don't have a car and you're staying longer especially as the restaurant on site doesn't get good reviews. But there is a good enough supermarket across the road for self catering options.

The property met our expectation, loved the pool and the view. We were a little disappointed by the beach as it was very rough. We booked the property for the "best beach" but it was not compatible for a dip in the sea. May be it was due to our bad luck and timing, but for the 3 days we spent there, the beach always had the red flag and we were not allowed to go there. The rooms also get very humid due to the proximity to the beach, again not the fault of the property but come prepared. We stayed there in mid November.

I think the property shares it's entrance with another property and I found the guards a bit rude. We were made to wait at the entrance for quite a while and were not allowed to go to the reception until the receptionist came to fetch us. I have never seen this happen anywhere else in the world. We came directly from airport with kids and the wait at the last leg of the journey was a little uncomfortable.

The Views from my balcony!! Big pool that stays open late..Loved the location... Literally Right on the beach!! Restaurants and shopping right down the road. Uber eats also delivers here if you don't want to go to the on-site restaurant. Very friendly and accommodating staff my flight was delayed and I didn't arrive until 11:30 pm to check in and it was a less than 5 minute process. Will definitely return soon!!

Building and rooms are old and outdated. A.C. was cold but took forever to figure out the Remote to operate it. Have to wear shoes around the room because floor is always damp for some reason.

We just stayed one night because our flight left in the morning, and it was good for that. Across the street there are some nice restaurants and an Oxxo. Bed was comfortable and we had a nice view. Good for one last jump in the ocean. The beach is not nearly as nice as further down south in Playa del Carmen or Tulum. It has a little kitchenette with a microwave, plates and a fridge, that's convenient. Also close to the airport, Uber can easily pick you up at Oxxo.

Water in the shower does not drain well, so it becomes a bit of a bathtub

Location was on top, the place was very clean and overall good value for money. The building and the rooms weren’t the newest, a bit scruffy in some areas, but it was very clean and convenient. Plus, the restaurant was quite good!
