- The resort is enormous and beautiful - There are several restaurants you can choose from that are included - The hotel staff was always willing to help you with a smile on their faces - The quality you get for the price you pay is truly amazing - The resort is extremely well-maintained and very clean - Quality of the alcohol is very good - Bavaro beach is beyond gorgeous

- The quality of the meats they serve in all their restaurants is not the best. - It's really not worth paying $35 per person to go to La Comedie restaurant. The entrées were delicious, but the main courses and deserts were lacking. - The rooms have motion detectors that turn on very bright lights. Guess what happens when you need to pee when it's still dark and your wife is sleeping. - The TV we originally got was somewhat old. Thankfully Jose Gervacio from night shift maintenance got us a more modern smart TV and disabled the motion sensors in the room. He truly improved our stay.

First of all I will begin by saying that we staid in the Premium suite and wow it was huge! We were in the building closest to the main buffet, pools and the beach which was an excellent choice as this resort is massive and a more distant location on the property would be way less convenient. The food in the buffet was fresh and the variety was amazing! The hotel restaurants don’t disappoint either! Lunch and breakfast at the Coral and dinner at La Comedieu was superb. The place is very clean and well maintained. Overall we hit the jackpot with Barceló Bavaro!

The only thing I can point out that could be improved is the kids club offer. The kids club was great but there was no program for different activities throughout the day, it was more of a free play type of thing where younger kids quickly got bored. The staff was nice but would’ve been great if their English was better. For non-Spanish speaking children I felt like there was a language barrier that made our toddler a bit lost at times and he needed us to help him communicate with the staff on his behalf. The staff felt shay to engage kids who didn’t speak Spanish also.

the property was amazing good services and everyone was so kind and polite. make sure to go to Franklin for all of your excursions.

the food was not up to par. the employees are over worked in the kitchen areas. if you do go make sure you make your reservations for the restaurants the same day you get there for the rest of your stay because if you don’t you will get stuck with the worst time which is from 10- 10:45. the restaurant reservations get booked up quickly for all of them on property.

This resort is beyond amazing. The staff is wonder, location is perfect; not too far from the airport, the area is super clean and quiet, located on the beach. The food was amazing everything day and night. Reservations to the restaurants were great and high quality. The evening shows were spectacular. The disco was really cool and within the resort which is perfect. I recommend booking the junior suite which has a jacuzzi in the balcony. I think everything was amazing and beyond expectations. Totally recommend this resort to anyone looking to have a good time from couples, families and even singles.

The hotel’s location was truly amazing and beautiful, offering a stunning setting that added a lot to our stay. The property itself was well-designed, with thoughtful aesthetics and multiple areas with activities that created an amazing holiday for us.

The hotel met standard expectations for cleanliness and amenities, but service fell short when addressing guest needs. We were a group of 3 in a room set up for 2 and despite repeated requests for an extra towel, it was never provided. On several occasions, we had to share towels, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Despite calling five times, the staff repeatedly assured us that the towel was “on its way,” but it never arrived. Additionally, the staff appeared overworked and fatigued, which impacted their service quality. While the basics were delivered, the lack of responsiveness and visible strain on the team detracted significantly from our experience.

We were not told that every restaurant required a reservation, therefore we did not get to try all of them. Need to explain all your amenities in more detail.

- The beach was beautiful and the pools were nice too. - The room and the rest of the establishment were clean, organised, and nicely decorated - The food and drinks were good and there were a lot of choices. The Mexican restaurant was our favourite - The majority of the staff were polite and friendly - We enjoyed the dance classes (although quite short) and the beach activities like kayak and catamaran - We had a late-afternoon flight, so we appreciated being able to stay in the premises after checking-out.

- We had to call every single time to receive clean towels. The staff were removing the dirty ones from the room without providing us with new. - The shower products need improvement, they were very bad quality - It was a bit too crowded especially when in the weekend, making it difficult to find a place by the beach/pool.

All inclusive. Nice beach. Nice pool. Included watersport equipment to borrow.

The bathroom and toilet do not allow privecy due to transparent doors and no locks. You have to brush your teeth and shave in the main room.....(what is this???). We had an issue in one of our rooms which they could not fix while we were there. They offered a replacement room and asked us to stay and wait for the staff to give us our new room but despite calling and reminding them, nobody came for a long time and eventually we decided to give it up.

The best part was the Spanish restaurant “La Fuente”. Their attention was wonderful. Specially Manuel Valenzuela, he did a great job hosting us and make us feel great. The food is delicious.

On the other hand Kyoto (Japanese Restaurant) was the worst part of the trip. Drahinin Guilamo was super rude to us and did not provide good service

Amenities were great. Al a cart food was great.Good golf course.

Food at buffets was average. Bed was like a board.
