- the different restaurants: every night we had dinner in a different place and I was surprised by the quality which was great! - the pool area with the swim up bar - the animation team were great and friendly - the overall resort was beautiful - the room was spacious with a nice balcony Overall from the moment we walked in, we didn’t have to worry about anything - all is taken care of. The staff is helpful, everything is available on site, you are just here to enjoy your time in the resort or in the area. I can’t wait to go back there!

The only thing I didn’t like is the way people “book” their sunbeds by letting their towels on it for the whole day, even when they are not around, but that’s not the hotel’s fault :)

I can't say enough about how beautiful the grounds are, how nice the rooms are and the food was great also! We upgraded to the colonial club and don't regret it at all. Staff like Green, junior, freisca were amazing. Along with the woman in the colonial club lounge.

Let's talk about Francisco. He was our assigned butler for our stay. He's very nice and knowledgeable but every time we asked him for a reservation he would say to ask him later even though he asked us to go through him only. After asking him for the third time for a reservation for le gourmet he said we had a 7pm reservation for that night. We dressed up and got there and there was never a reservation made. We called and texted him and he has no answer for us. Other guests stated they had no problem getting a reservation but we could not. On our last day he came by and was annoyed we went to the front desk and asked them for a late checkout and not him. He said he would send someone up for out our bags at 2 that day any no one ever came. These are champagne problems but just still.

The staff here were the friendliest I've ever met in all my experiences at All-Inclusive. They worked hard and had a pleasant atmosphere about them .The grounds were kept immaculate and nicely lit for night walks. I found the bar and food location staff very friendly, and the beach was very clean and inviting. My favorite feature here is that the sports bar is open until 7 am!! This helps accommodate all those that fly in from different countries all around the world with different time zones. Well done.

Not that it is the resorts fault, however some members of our party had their flights cancelled or rescheduled due to the Snow storms as well as a Plane crash in Toronto. I felt it hard to believe that the resort was full capacity and they had no spare rooms. My cousin had to wait in the Lobby with her senior in laws for information on what the hotel intended to do with them. They were forced to leave and go to another hotel. There was 50 vacationers for a destination wedding at this resort and not one of us believed that there was no more vacancy available on those dates. We assumed the planes flying people in to the resort did not arrive, as such there must of been some rooms available.

The resort is vast and very well-equipped. Great beach, and a nice large swimming pool. The compound is separated from the surrounding towns and feels very safe. There is very good WiFi all around the area, even outdoors. The rooms are large enough and I think all of them have a jacuzzi. Our room had an additional bedroom, so it was double the size. Jacuzzi is on the side of the room, so there is no privacy (bear in mind if you travel with family/children). There is a great balcony for all rooms. The poolside balconies are great, but you will have the noise of exercise activities and unwanted loud music each afternoon for around 1 hr. The food is good and there are many varieties. Breakfast is fantastic. There are several restaurants that you can book and have dinner in (in addition to many many places that you can eat). Book them as soon as you arrive. There is a market just outside the compound for buying souvenirs. The sellers are VERY keen to sell but harmless. They are all very nice people. But don’t forget to negotiate the price. American Dollar is the main currency everyone is interested in. We use Booking.com transfers to/from the hotel which worked very well and was at a great price.

Unfortunately, the toilet is very small with a glass door and is again unsuitable for families/children. But there are many clean public toilets around the resorts.

Literally almost everything was perfect! I’ll just start with what I think needs to change. We stayed in a garden view room. The room could use some upgrades. Jets in tub were showing major corrosion, shower drains and shower heads need repair. The couch had some wear and tear and the king bed is 2 twin box springs pushed together..ours were uneven. We had 3 rooms here and they all needed the same kind of repair. With that being said we would STILL stay here again. This resort and staff were spectacular. The buffet was a 10/10 every day all day. The restaurants were amazing!! The pool is so huge you feel like you have your own private space. Foam party the best pool party I’ve ever attended. Lots of places to get drinks and the drinks are great. “Kiddie” pool amazing..even the adults enjoyed the water slides!! The shows were so fun and interactive with the crowd. We loved the Michael Jackson show. The staff here is so friendly, from front desk to room attendants, restaurant staff…everyone 10/10! We did 8 days in DR, the first part of our trip was spent at another resort..we did not have a good experience. We were beyond happy we chose to switch hotels to Majestic. We would recommend this resort a million times!!

Rooms need a tad bit of remodeling but still pretty good

Food and service were great. The swimming pool, bars, proximity to the beach and the beach itself were great.

Despite my booking three rooms with twin beds, only rooms with one king bed each were given. this despite my booking way in advance (May 3, 2024). I was told that all rooms with twin beds were already given out. Really? My son and family were two adults and two kids and my daughter's family is similar in size. After a ridiculous claim by the reception desk person that four could sleep on a king bed, they put an extra bed in each of the rooms with kids. The air conditioner was inadequate and some nights it was hot. Despite my turning the thermostat down to 65F, it would spring back to 71.6F. The toilet (commode) room is tiny like in an aircraft. The balcony curtains were torn and would not cover completely.

I have not one complaint. I was very impressed at how friendly the staff were. Very accommodating and by far the most outgoing and helpful that we have ever encountered in all our trips to the Caribbean. Believe me we have been ALL over the Caribbean Islands and at many All-in resorts. The staff here was by far the best. The beach was great, plenty of chairs even for us late risers. Nice pool, the grounds were immaculate. Well lit up at night that provided a very nice ambiance. We found the food at the a la carte's as well as the Buffet very good. I would definitely recommend this place and plan on returning.

Having to leave this place.

The hotel has a great feel. The staff is always happy and willing to help. The facilities are clean. The buffet restaurants are great with lots of variety and plenty on new things to try daily. The evening entertainment is very good, above average for most resorts. The Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant was fab.

We went unknowingly in spring break which meant that being around the pools swim up bar was a nightmare. It was absolutely hectic around the pool area, however, being on the beach got rid of this problem somewhat and you could relax. The a la carte restaurants weren't great. The meat restaurant kept over cooking the meat and the French wasn't gourmet as expected. Ingredients described on the menu where missing. The food tasted ok but wasn't to the standard i thought it would be considering the buffet was great.

The amenities, view, entertainment, and people were amazing! There was always something to do and moments to relax! I was truly amazed at all we got for the price! Just an overall good time!

Property was amazing, but I caution people to keep receipts so upon checkout you have proof of payment. Me and another individual had to wait 30 minutes to checkout because they act as though they couldn’t find reservations or proof of payment upon checkin. I also had to ask for my checkout receipt just in case the charge isn’t accurate after I’m gone. Thankfully I had my receipt and screenshot of the exact amount paid. I made sure to go back to the desk and show the manager my check in receipt. It just bothered me that they don’t take accountability as a company when something goes wrong, but they blame whomever checked you in. So be careful when paying! It’s a beautiful property but they will try you.

The outstanding friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff significantly enhanced our experience.

We've noticed that the air conditioning in our room becomes significantly less effective at night. While each room has an individual AC controller, the unit appears to reduce its cooling capacity during the evening hours. The temperature improves and the unit's operation becomes audible again once morning arrives.
