The resort was really nice and the rooms had really luxurious feel. Also great price and nice staff. The view from the room was great. Pool was nice too.

At first I couldn't find the reception, because I drove directly to the rooms I booked. Also the location is far from everything. I think the location was the main problem here, because even with a scooter it was a bit problematic. You either had to drive to Kata on a very busy 4 lane road, or the other way which goes through a very busy roundabout with constant traffic jams and police controls. There are also not that many places to eat, so it's better to take the twisty roads to Kata and eat there. Very slow wifi and poor mobile signal, so you're offline most of the time. Also, the whole resort was amost empty - not sure if it went through reconstrucion, but many of the facilities (gym etc) were closed and looked abandoned. It was strange.

We booked One-Bedroom Villa and we were really happy. There were plenty of space. We had Livingroom with small balcony, two bathrooms (one outside), spacious bedroom with king size bed and walk-in wardrobe. We enjoyed the view as well. We got house that is up on a hill, so there was nice view to other houses, palm trees and overall view. Rooms was in moderate condition. It could be refreshed in some places but we liked it anyway. We stayed 7 night and would like to stay more. During our stay we saw that employees make renovation in other Vilas, that good, they improve. Breakfast was good, every morning fresh made omelet, toast, ham, bacon, sausages, coffee, fruits and croissant. Friendly staff. We were the only one using pool in our stay, that was excellent. Pool looked very good and did not smell like chlorine. There was also gym, it could have some maintenance, but over all okay.

Conditioning system was not well-considered, because it is located in bedroom and air is not goin to the Livingroom. In the living room was ventilator but nevertheless the volume was on full, it could not refresh the room. Kitchen was spacious but with almost no appliances. There were just microwave and water boiling can, two plates and two bowls. We did not have Wi-Fi in our villa, nor did get it from other apartments. we had out own, by mobile hot-spot, that is why this was not a big minus to us. Employees had cleaning equipment stored under our house, so there was some mornings when they were a bit too loud. Lack of lighting options in bedroom.

We checked in to a beautiful and spacious room which was clean and had everything you needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us as it is not directly near Kata beach (we either used Grab or a scooter), but it was perfect for us to escape the crowds. It felt very peaceful and was our first stop of our trip through the Thai islands.

The only thing that comes in my mind now was the adapter. We brought the wrong one and unfortunately the hotel did not have one that would fit. But the staff went out their way and took my partner to a place to get one.

The room was spacious and clean. A quiet pool with a nice view. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of options and gets replenished constantly. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Reasonable distance to Kata beach (by taxi or by motorbike)

There are very few restaurants nearby within walking distance. Better if you rent a scoot to get around.

Chalong resort is in a great location far enough from noise of a busy city but close to shops / restaurants . The hotel is beautiful ! The grounds are surrounded by stunning trees , all well kept . The pools are gorgeous and well kept . Our room was so nice , beds comfortable and great standard of quality throughout . The food at the hotels restaurant was excellent value and tasty choices . Breakfast each morning was of high quality with a good variety of choice ( without being overwhelmed with too much ! ) the staff are so friendly and helpful throughout the hotel , we really enjoyed their professional attentive service . We loved our 10 days there . Walking distance to the tiger park through the stunning rubber tree plantation attached to the hotels grounds . Thank you to all the staff at chalong chalet resort and if we ever return to phuket we would stay again .

Only issue was child’s bed had to have an extra mattress to double up to make it suitable for use , which hotel quickly resolved on arrival .

The staff were great! Facilities are in need of repairs but everything was clean. Lovely swimming pools. The staff offered every assistance to make our stay comfortable. Close to shops & restaurants at Chalong but removed from the busyness and very peaceful at the resort. Beautiful views with the elevation

Chalong resort not well connected to local shops/restaurants so needed to walk on the road at times. It would be ideal if a footpath could be extended. However, easy to get a Grab/taxi if required. Hotel staff also provided transport to shops one day when we required assistance. Public bus also available from front of hotel (it's on a main road)

We loved everything! Me & my husband loved the spectacular view from our room it was heaven on earth! Thankful and so appreciative of the staff they were so lovely and so helpful ! Ohh I loved the fooood trying new food at the breakfast buffet was so yummy! We loved the pools the pool bar and the food especially the smoothies served at the waterfall pool bar!!! We kept eating and having smoothies there. They do have a range of other drinks at the pool bar as well😊 to us this resort was close to all the things we wanted to all the experiences and places we wanted go and see. Also if it was a far place the hotel stuff were very helpful in taking us to places to book such as Carnival Magic everything else I either booked through booking.com or used grab app

- The reception main staff were incredibly polite, welcoming and approachable from the moment we arrived. Her friendliness stood out and provided an outstanding service. When we were unhappy with the One Bedroom villa, she was more than happy to show us Double bedroom and we shifted thereafter. - Hi-Speed Wi-Fi connectivity, spacious room & washroom, immaculate daily house keeping, etc being some of the positives. - Very comfortable bed and quiet surroundings gave a good night's sleep. This was our second visit and we would definitely come back again.

Location is perfect! you are just in the middle between most popular places and best beaches. everybody here rent a bike (500 day) or car (1000 day). parking is free close to the room. Karon and Kata 10 min. Huge area, nice rooms, very friendly staff. breakfast is very good and tasty. you have bar with restaurant close to pool. massage is available. public kitchen with barbecue facilities 24/7. a lot of swimming pools. really, it was a pleasant stay. territory is huge, you live like in a jungle. but at the same time no any insects or animals. noise of night live is amazing. I spent 17 nights with family and it was really good location for family vacation. all facilities for children are available.

WiFi is poor due to huge territory AC is quite noisy

We had an amazing stay at the Chalong Chalet Resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. There were 2 swimming pools which were well maintained and we had a jacuzzi included which was a nice addition. Breakfast was served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and despite the fairly limited selection of breakfast it was good for the price we payed. They also serve things other than what is provided if you ask, which we appreciated. The WiFi was adequate and sometimes cut out but could be fixed easily.

The location is quite ‘far out’ and many facilities had to be travelled to by a taxi and it may be quite costly for travellers who would like to go to other places regularly.
