This hotel was on my bucket list for years and finally had the opportunity to visit and it did not disappoint in the slightiest, the photos match reality Amazing for a two night stay, we enjoied the view in the pool, the breakfast was good, the staff were amazing and helpful

lack of privacy, villas are close to each other, we could see the people inside their villa , i wish if they planted trees in between villas or offer partition or any kind cover (note: i knew the pools were not covered but didnt expect the villas as well)

This hotel is absolutely stunning — truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. From the lobby to the pool, the rooms, and the spa, everything is designed and maintained to the highest possible standard. The staff are exceptionally kind and always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for. The villas are breathtaking, offering both comfort and elegance, and to our delight, we were even upgraded during our stay. Every detail here reflects luxury and attention, creating an unforgettable experience.

On the downside, unfortunately there were road works near our villa during our stay. Of course, this is not the hotel’s fault, and they even compensated us for the inconvenience, but the noise from around 8 AM until 6 PM made it quite difficult at times. I believe this is only temporary, so future guests may not experience the same issue.

Our room was amazing! Wonderful room service! The resort territory was incredible ...green and peaceful. People are very kind and helpful!

There is only one restaurant and food there was below average. Tasteless and very small portions for a high price. Kamala beach is absolutely disgusting ..not worth going there. Territory outside the resort is atrocious..

Such a gorgeous property, we loved the privacy of each room, we visited for our honeymoon and were given a complimentary upgrade on arrival. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Caylah who looked after us the whole time. The food was lovely, so many options for every time of day. We booked a special dinner on the roof for our honeymoon, the restaurant staff moved it inside as they were worried about rain, when it hadn’t rained by desert we asked if we could eat our desert outside as we were really disappointed to not have the romantic meal we were hoping for and the inside room just wasn’t particularly special although the staff did a great job of trying to decorate it. They were so helpful and moved everything upstairs for us including candles, even when we said we’d be happy just with the desert and a table they really put in the extra effort.

Probably the only thing was the inside room they have for their special menu/celebration dinners, if you’re unfortunate enough to book one on a night it rains it just isn’t a special location to have a meal and impossible to take a photograph together to remember the special night.

The staff are great and extremely supportive and helpful in all our needs specially March he supported us exceptionally. The resort is well set and offers all needs. The villa was equipped well and clean the house cleaning is done twice a day which is nice and helps keeps everything organized and maintained. The views from villas are nice with the property being very clean even when raining. Being surrounded by woods is amazing keep in mind if you are leaving the property get a car/taxi because walking is not recommended as it’s hilly and a bit of a hard walk into the main streets. The spa is a must when in keemala as they offer a wide range of spa options and will help you choose the right option for you.

The villas privacy might not be the best as the neighbors can see into our room and bathroom specially if you have a neighbor that doesn’t understand privacy. Also one minor thing is the in room service is not 24 hours and ends at 23:30

i liked the way my butler ( Yeam ) was very helpful. the breakfast was also good

no privacy at the pool . as a muslim i couldnt swim. i paid 30,000 Baht for the pool and didnt swim. Yeam changed the room and gave me options but still no privacy

Amazing view, overall the hotel is super special and unique. The room is amazing and the private pool is great. also the stuff we’re very welcoming.

The room noise isolation is very bad, we heared everything that was going on outside, which made it difficult to sleep. Also the food wasn’t great. Both the breakfast and the dinner at the restaurant, where the prices were x3 from anywhere else we’ve been. Finally there was a small but annoying issue. We broke 2 champagne glasses ( 100% our fault ), and at the checkout they wanted to charge us for 50$ because of it. I know it sounds petty, but charging us for broken glass when you’re paying over 600$ a night sounds ridicules to me.

I booked Keemala as a surprise for my husbands 30th birthday and it was an incredible experience! There’s nothing like Keemala! The architecture, decor and vibe is just out of this world! If you want peace, tranquility and luxury then Keemala is the place for you! We stayed in the Tree Vila and there is no place like this! It’s a two story villa and impeccably clean. It was so beautiful and just felt like you are in a different realm! Loved the private pool and we had somewhat of privacy! You can sometimes see other pools/villa, I think it depends how high up your villa is! We had a villa host called March and he was just incredible and so nice and attended to our needs when needed! Even on my husband’s birthday March bought a complimentary birthday cake alongside breakfast in the morning! It’s the little things like this that makes Keemala different from the rest! Each and every person who worked there were kind and polite and really made sure we were comfortable! There’s only one restaurant there called Mala Restaurant which gives a mixture of Indian, western and Thai food and honestly the quality of the food is exceptional!! My favourite was the Lamb Biyani it was just mouth watering! It is pricey I.e a couple of alcoholic drinks and mains can add up to an equivalent to £60+ per dinner but they are big portions and very tasty! The quality of the breakfast buffet is also very delicious and top notch! You tend to need a buggy to get around Keemala but your Villa host will order them for you and they are quite quick! The pool side is very beautiful and relaxing! They have a weekly event planner but unfortunately there wasn’t something on that interested me when we stayed during our 3 day stay! However, that didn’t impact on the quality of my time at Keemala! It is a quiet resort but we loved that! It was quite honestly an amazing place to stay. Thank you for the staff at Keemala making it special for us!

We unfortunately didn’t get to use the spa facilities so cannot comment on this!

Breakfast was exceptional. It felt gourmet and had many options to choose from. The baked goods were amazing every morning. the Ala carte options were each delicious from the pancakes to the dim sum to the Indian crepe. Even the salmon Benedict was the best I’ve ever had. The bed in the room was the best bed I’ve ever slept in. The shower and the tub was very nice. Every part of the room felt like there was thought out into it. Also, since it was our honeymoon our villa assistant got us complimentary champagne !!and of course we enjoyed it in the tub for extra romance. 10/10 stay.

If I didn’t like anything, it was maybe the blocked view from our tree house pool villa. We couldn’t see anything past the tree and ferns. Where as other similar villas had an overlooking view. And since there was trees in front of our villa, the pool didn’t warm up as much since they are not heated. But I didn’t mind that as much since we could go to the main pool area with the waterfall. Not a big deal !

The birds nest was gorgeous. The attention to details in the room, the tiles in the shower and the staff was very kind and friendly. I could keep going, very lovely stay. Would come back if I went back to Thailand. The privacy and distance from the other rooms was also pleasant, didn’t feel like the resort was crowded. Taxis were cheap to get around the city as well.

The scent of the body soap, shampoo and conditioner. This was not a deal breaker though, does not take away from the beautiful location and room.
