Very nice property, located 6-7 minutes walk from the beach (Kamala Beach), located in a good area, with many supermarkets, restaurants and shops. The beach was very long and have nice water (clear, nice colors). The pool at the property, you could get towels for the pool for free from the reception, but I preferred to go to the sea and did not use the pool, but I saw that there were people who used it every day, having a room with a view of the pool. The room I received was beyond expectations, it was actually an apartment, with a living room with a small kitchen at the entrance (fridge, microwave, water heater, but nothing else like stove or pots so you can cook), a sofa and a balcony with a table and 2 chairs. The other room of the apartment was the bedroom, very large, including a large and comfortable double bed and also many space around the bed). Daily cleaning in the room, beds made, linen changed, towels changed daily, consumable items in the bathroom permanently replenished (shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper). The bathroom, large, roomy, with a large shower cabin, hot water available for both the shower and the sink.

When paying by bank card, the payment of the amount on the booking plus 3% is requested which is the bank's commission for card payment at the POS (I have nothing against it, only that this is not specified anywhere in the reservation, being an unpleasant news that you get at the reception).

Big room, comfortable bed, warm shower, big pool, pool was a pleasant temperature, quiet at the pool area, room had a view of the pool and garden, and a small balcony, helpful staff.

Although the hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the southern end of the beach, it is too far a walk to get to the central part part of the beach where the lounge chairs, umbrellas, and food is available. The hotel has no restaurant and no breakfast, though there is a restaurant across the street, with a very limited menu.

We had a very nice holiday at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spotless and cleaned regularly, the air conditioning works. The pool is open 24 hours and it was nice to swim in it. I don't like big hotels so this one met my expectations. Laundry service available. Quiet area, approx. 10 minutes walking distance from the main beach.

It would be useful to paint the façade of the hotel, as it looks better in the photos, and to keep the lifts clean. I missed the bar available on site.

One of the better 3 star hotels I have stayed at on phuket. Many positive features you will appreciate: recently renovated with modern sinks, marble showers, well-functioning a/c, private deck, mini-fridge. Very clean. The bed was quite firm but I slept well. Generally more quite here than most due to location. However, at the time of this review (December, 2023) there is a construction project at the adjoining property and loud construction noise during daytime. For you sound nerds, the construction noise results in the typical noise level of 40 decibles increasing to about 55 decibles. Estimate that construction may continue throughout January. Daily room cleaning and the typical 2 bottles of water allotment. Very friendly host. Close to most services and grocery stores. Good value.

Downside might be the distance to the beautiful beach, about a 15 to 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. There's a number of roosters living next door that rise early.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and you are provided with water bottles, tea and coffee daily. They also change towels and bathroom essentials daily. If you need an hairdryer, you can ask at the reception and they’ll provide you with one.

The area does not look great but to be fair it is just 5 minutes walk from the Main Street, 15 minutes walk from the main attractions on Kamala beach. We did not mind at all. The down side is that for some reason you cannot find the property on google maps or other your websites but this is not a major problem.

Fantastic staff, especially Mr Tee and Dahl who were front of house. Nothing was a problem to them and their care and attention meant the world. The other staff were just as friendly. The small things like a complimentary umbrellas for rain. The room was excellent and cleaned everyday. The room was so comfortable and had thee best shower in all of Thailand.

I had an enjoyable 10 night stay at Sungthong Kamala Beach Resort. The location was good, just a short walk to the beach and to the centre of the town with its range of restaurants and cafes. There were also good value restaurants and a coffee shop by the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A good bathroom, a comfortable bed and a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The staff were very friendly throughout the hotel, all of which helped make this an excellent place to stay. Good value for money.

Kind and supportive staff at the hotel. Location is near the sea and most restaurants. The pool is okay, not great, not terrible. Cleaning was processed every day, that's A+.

Conditioner needed a cleaning, because it affects lungs, had a couch multiple times. The furniture is old and need to be replaced.

Good clean and spacious room. Very comfortable with balcony overlooking the pool. The location was good, although not right on the beach, there is a walkway from the pool area that takes you to the beach- about 300 metres I think? It is close to the Big C supermarket, which is where Phuket Smart Bus stops in Kamala - the bus runs between airport and Phuket Old town.

The hotel is a little run down, but comfortable. Not on the beach, but good value for money.

Location friendly staff, would do anything to help. Got there early and got checked in straight away. Beautiful room nice and bid, had a room safe a balcony. The pool was clean, not that deep but fantastic. Simple gardens, close to everything
