Quiet little gem, off the noisy bars but still within walking distance. Couple of rooms only, not your resort style of hotel but if you look for the following, you will be happy: -supet friendly staff -clean rooms, very clean -150-200m to beach, along the way you'll pass by shops such 7/11 so you won't die while walking :) -don't expect a big pool with DJ etc, simply enjoy this hotel as a quiet & hidden gem -eateries within 100m, or 200m depends on what you like -for the single mens: party district within 200m, just in case I would recommend this hotel to 100%..thanks to all the staff working there!

It was just wonderful! I had a very spacious room, kitchenette and balcony. The bed und especially the lounge were so comfy! I just loved all the small details- particularly in the new building! The interior design of the rooms is just incredible and all of them have their own access to the pool! Moreover it’s super safe, quiet, idyllic (with the palm trees and the salt water pool) and still so central! Everything is in max. 5 min. walking distance (beach, supermarkets, restaurants, night markets). Last but not least I want to mention the staff and the owners! They are super friendly, helpful, just welcoming and caring. You made my stay memorable! I am very grateful and happy I got to know these wonderful souls :)

The hotel was fantastic! The staff were absolutely lovely—such genuinely good people who made our stay so enjoyable. The location was incredibly convenient, with the beach and a supermarket just a short walk away. Highly recommend!

I would like to thank those in charge of this hotel for providing excellent service to customers and for the cleanliness of the hotel. I believe that this hotel is not 3 stars, but rather deserves 5 stars. Because of my admiration for the hotel, I extended my stay for another two nights. I would like to thank (zen) for all the assistance it provided me during My stay of 6 nights . the hotel is near to everything Big C and 5 minute to the beach and also have big refrigerator in room everything perfect.

On coastal side of city. 5 min walk on a dirt trail to main grocery store without crossing the busy main road. 10 min easy flat walk to beach with good signage on back quiet streets. Immaculate new Swimming pool with salt water and jacuzzi jets. Plenty of palm trees and overhang for shelter from sun and rain. Super Friendly Staff speak and understand English (very rare) provide coffee drinks and fresh organic fruit. Comfy bed in a 2 room apartment with outdoor porch with 4 chairs and table and ceiling fan. Mosquito repellent provided. One room has kitchen, table and shower which can be separated from sleeping room.

Staff (Zen) is amazing, such a sweet and helpful host. We received so many recommendations on things to do and places to eat! Kamala Beach area is much more low key than the crazy busy Patong Beach or Old Town areas. Hotel room (deluxe studio w/balcony) is perfect for a couple, lovely pool and housekeeping daily, wifi seemed solid until a storm passed through. Walkable to Big C for groceries, tons of restaurants. Need to use Bolt to get to any other areas including the island snorkel trips, elephant sanctuary, Old Town, Temples, etc. Worth it for the quieter location. All in all.... WONDERFUL!

You need cash for just about everything around town. Hotel sign needs a refresh for Bolt drivers to see as hotel itself has an unassuming exterior. I found the mattress and pillows on the hard side (two twin beds vs one bed was a bummer as well)

We had a wonderful stay at VIVACE Hotel in Phuket and I honestly can’t recommend it enough definitely a well-deserved five stars. The room was spotless and well-maintained, making it ideal for families who are looking for a clean and quiet place to relax. This is not a party spot for teenagers, but rather a calm and peaceful environment that suits families perfectly. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly always ready to assist with anything we needed, no matter how small. It made a big difference and added a warm, welcoming touch to our stay. They are genuinely generous and hospitable. One thing that really impressed us: after checking out, we realized we had forgotten something in the room. Without hesitation, they sent it to us by motorcycle straight to the airport! That level of care and service is rare and truly appreciated. They also offer daily laundry service they’ll collect your clothes and have them washed and returned the very next day. Everything came back perfectly, and nothing ever went missing. The location is also super convenient. On one side, you have Big C Market (like Walmart), 7-Eleven, and a few pharmacies all within walking distance. On the other side, it’s only about a six-minute walk to the beach. Overall, VIVACE Hotel is an absolute gem for families looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!

The lady who owns the property is wonderful, always greeting us, very attentive, helpful, caring and all the positive words I could think of. I was travelling with my elderly parents and purposely booked a deluxe room that had easy elevator access for them so they wouldn't have to use the stairs. She upgraded us to the ground floor pool access deluxe suites so parents could have easy access. She demostrated to my mother how to safely get in and out if the pool showing a lot of care. That's just one example of how tuned in she was to guest needs. Thank you so much! They don't serve breakfast but you can easily access food and if you book the deluxe rooms you get to make yourself breakfast. The rooms had direct access to the pool, a mini kitchen equipped with a sink, cooker top, cooking utensils, microwave oven, kettle larger fridge than most hotels and a toaster. We saw a big hotel car park too. Location was good between the main street and the beach. Lots of halal eateries nearby. I recommemd Amena's halal food by the beach. Many 7-elevens and massage parlours in walking distance as well as a Big C and Tops.

Nothing to do with the hotel but there are some "overly friendly" dogs (not the hotel's) that are not kept on leash on the path to big C who like to interact with people. We normally do not mind dogs but one of almoat pounced on my elderly mum. Just be on the watch out when you walk out to big C if you do not like dogs :)

It had all the amenities you could need. Excellent location, a few minutes walk from the beach, shops, bars etc. And best of the all the hotel owners were amazing, they were so attentive, you felt like a guest in their home. Not many rooms so they could focus on each individual guest. Unfortunately the rooms that opened directly onto the pool weren't available when we booked, but they looked amazing so we would definitely try and book those next time.

Nothing that we didn't like exactly but the pool isn't in the sun so if you are looking for somewhere to sunbathe by the pool then this might not be the perfect place for you. The beach with plenty of sun isn't far!! We prefered the shade anyway.

We had a pool side unit which was gorgeous, well appointed, very comfortable bed and the pool right at the front door. This hotel is very new and clean and a short walk to the beach but as amazing as the room was, what truely was sets this place apart from the rest is the brilliant staff, they could not make us feel more welcome if they tried, they transformed our stay from great to truely memorable!

Nothing really, the only thing I could mention is the lack of a restaurant which is still being built but there are so many good local restaurants a stones throw away that it was not an issue.
