The room was really spacious, bed was big and comfortable! Pool access was amazing, as not many rooms are sharing it and it was almost always empty. Cleaning of the room was good, even though it was sometimes at lunch time and we just asked for the water change (they give 2x bottles of water for free per day). Breakfast was not amazing, but good enough - omelettes were the best, and you could get a waffle, toast, soup, fruit and veg, as well as some other more filling foods like noodles and rice. It's enough to start off the day :) Walk to the beach for us was around 15-20 mins, but there is a transfer to Kata and Karon beaches at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm, which takes minutes. 7-eleven, mini big C are near, some nice bubble tea shops, massage salons, and restaurants too. Fruit shop almost opposite. The street wasn't as busy which was nice. Hotel staff was very helpful, always smiling. For sure would recommend this hotel, and would happily come back.

Only minor things, like there was one day when cleaners didn't come at all, and the shower room they offer in case you have a late flight and have to check out early. It was a room without an air-con, very hot, and water didn't go down the shower drain almost at all, so ended up flooding the room, so we had to be very careful on the tile floor, I almost fell. So just something to consider in case it isn't fixed.

We stayed in the Palmery Pool Access Suite. They have an alfresco area undercover so we could still sit outside and not be in the direct sunlight. There are 5 suites on each side of the pool. Pool was bigger than expected. Aircon worked really well, rooms are spacious. Beds are firm. Bathrooms are also big and we didn’t have any issues of smelly drains etc. Breakfast - a mixture of Thai style dishes and western options. Bacon, egg station, sausages, baked beans, toast, croissants, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, waffles, salad, yoghurt, fruit salad + about 8 Thai options per day (pad Thai, curries, rice, stir fries) The gym has quite basic equipment but all in working condition. Approx a 10 minute walk to heart of Kata (money exchange, walking night markets for food, beach) but plenty of other dinner options closer to hotel. Our favourite was ‘Red Chair Restaurant’. There’s a mini mart across the road and a 7-11 about 4 minutes away (opposite direction to town). Massage businesses directly opposite hotel. We preferred Tanya’s - good massages, clean and friendly staff Washing is 50baht/kg (cheapest we have seen) just around the corner about 1 min away. Free shuttle bus to Kata beach or Karon beach at 9am,11am,1pm,3pm,5pm each day Staff have all been really helpful and friendly. Some have better English than others but haven’t had any problems with communication. We attended the Thai Cooking School Phuket (Kata Thai Cooking Class) - HIGHLY recommend. Jim and Sally run a very good business. It’s only approx 1km away (they’ll pick you up for free from hotel)

Staff were amazing ! Very friendly, happy and helpful..Room was very clean as was the pool. Breakfast staff and food was also very good. Room service / bar service was excellent. Location was good and many amenities close by.. mini marts, massage shops and restaurants all with a few minutes walk.

Maintenance workshop directly across from my balcony. Perhaps consider putting up a screen as it didn't feel that private. Didn't bother me to be honest, but thought best to mention it as some people may want more privacy?

Staff- Amazing and relaxing feel from the moment I checked in. Staff go out of their way to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable, and are friendly and professional at all times. location - Great location about a 7 minute walk from the centre of town and Kata beach. Great value for money for how close it is. Great little restaurants close by, including Indian, Thai and Italian and convenience stores. Food - I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel but it looked great when I walked past. i did get room service twice and was excellent both times. Pool - Plenty of deck chairs, great pool, and only a small amount of rooms sharing it so never too crowded.

Gym treadmills are a little old but it didn’t really matter… just went for a run at the beach instead.

Very expansive and lovely and chilled with the swimming pools everywhere. Staff were really lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Location wise excellent nice to be out of Kata and Karon and not too far to walk down to the beach.

The breakfast choice could have been better in terms of tropical fruits and other things. But it was ample and the chap preparing the eggs was very friendly and what a lovely chap. Always pleasure to see in the morning. The Gym was very poor machines not working and no way of connecting them. Not much equipment quite small and aircon not good.

Breakfast offering was amazing. Staff all super nice. Good location. Smart tv with Prime/Netflix etc. Minibar nice touch.

That most of the breakfast food was made with peanut oil or peanuts and im allergic and also we found several unclean dishes when we went for breakfast as if they where only rinsed off not washed

We had the pool Pool Access Suite which was very spacious and quiet. The breakfast was great with plenty of options especially the egg station man ( Mr Tom)who was super efficient. All the staff were very easy to talk to and helpful. The free shuttle to and from the beach was handy and a easy 15 minute walk back if needed. Mr Bird was also very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Lots of massage place around the area.

The room 5208 (pool suite) didn't have easy access via a ladder to get into and out of the pool. Each room should have a ladder or something suitable.

The room was very modern and stylish. I was disappointed that the room was not onto the pool area but facing a garden. Unfortunately there were no pool rooms available when I checked in The menu for room service was great and reasonable priced Breakfast was ok but not exceptional Staff was very helpful and friendly Thanks , Lucia Cronje, AUCKLAND

The Breakfast

We loved the hotel. It was big rooms with everything you need. Breakfast was very good. Staff was superb. We loved the shuttle bus to the beach and the great driver who also took care of our luggage. It is a lot of good restaurants within walking distance, especially Red Chair, Kata on Fire and even Istanbul. We have stayed many places in Phuket over the years and we both thought that this was the best place we stayed.

I found it a bit strange that when we came back to the hotel after having been in Vietnam, we wanted a particular room, but they said it is subject to availability upon our arrival date. Every other hotel we have been before and come back to, have managed to allocate our room in advance. I hope that changes to next year, because we will definitely come back. We loved this hotel.
