Room was excellent, lots of facilities, although the shower (in room 101) was quirky, more like a steam spray with the hose not quite long enough. Staff excellent, offered a room card each which is not always an option, helped with directions, parking in the Station car park etc. Location is great, near the station but far enough away to not be disturbed by trains, and a short walk to the castle and other sights for the lovely city.

We messaged to say we wanted a private parking space in the morning, but we were sent a follow up question that we didn't see until arrival, our fault for not checking the phone. It was full on arrival, but presumably there was a space available at time of the message. For us a better default option would be to assume we would want the space.

I booked this hotel for the location right across from the train station. I was upgraded to a room overlooking the square with a balcony. It was not noisy at night. The room itself was adequate. Breakfast was nice. Noemi at the front desk was very helpful. It is about a 10 minute walk into the historic center. Not much else to say - it is a nice hotel if you want to be close to the train station. I loved the town of Angers.

The rooms were very nice and decorated to a high standard. Staff were very friendly and helpful .Breakfast offered a lot of variety and quality.. Great restaurant right outside the door.

There were no carparking spaces at the hotel while we were there. It meant having to park on the street behind and ensuring the meter was fed.

Breakfast was excellent. Had lovely coffee (choice of bean or percolator).I like being able to have a soft boiled egg. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. Good choice of cheese and hams. Croissants were beautiful

Bed was hard..too hard for one of us. Hotel rooms a little bit tired.

Staff was very nice and helpful, ensuring that we could have communication rooms to manage the children safely. While the train station is not the most glamorous part of town, the hotel is at a 20min walk from town center. Breakfast was also really nice, with fresh orange juice available.

Parking a bit complicated, as no place is available even for offloading the car (unless you are lucky and the parking in front - supposedly for 20 min - is available)

Lovely view from our 4th floor room. Quiet room. Well sound insulated. Loved the architecture of the frontage. Great central location. Good secure facilities for securing our bicycles. Staff all friendly welcoming and helpful.

The duvet was far too warm. The was only one chair, but the staff provided an extra chair.

Courteous and helpful staff. Large very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.

Difficulty with Internet connection and room door card. Misleading info about and very tight parking which was not actually at the hotel. No good for a larger car.

Beautiful property with nice rooms and very clean. Restaurant is fantastic. The staff were very nice and friendly.

The only complaint is that being an older hotel the noise from the street and doors closing in the hallways woke me up.

Beautiful old classic hotel. Location opposite the railway station, so very handy for transport and only a short walk from historic area, main squares, restaurants. The staff were excellent, rooms very clean, bathroom totally refurbished. String wifi. Parking close by.

The hotel is a beautiful old lady - just needs her lobby and public areas refurbishing, they let her down.

spotlessly clean third generation family owned hotel in the old style, very comfortable large room overlooking plaza in front of train station. secure parking available, great breakfast, very helpful staff, close to everything including good places to eat. highly recommended.
