The owner, Thomas, was on hand, and was very helpful, despite having suffered an injury in the previous day or two. Location was excellent, with easy walking for the sights I wanted to see, and I found parking in a nearby street around the corner. I never have hotel breakfasts in France unless I'm miles away from a town in deep country, so can't comment on this one. But the room was spacious, clean, beds were comfortable and the bathroom spotless and well-equipped. Despite being on a main street with traffic/trams passing, the hotel was quiet with sound-proofed windows and good air-conditioning. Next time in Angers I would definitely stay again.

This hotel and its team were wonderful. They are the reason people select locally owned, small proprietors, over hotel chains or Airbnbs. The hotel was clean and charming with modern elements. The staff were all professional and friendly but most of all, they cared and believe in what they are doing. On top of that, the breakfast was delicious and creative. I normally don't eat breakfast at hotels but theirs was worth while.

Perfect location a little over 5 minutes walk from Saint-Laud railway station. Thomas the manager greeted us and he was kind and caring throughout our two night stay. The hotel is peaceful has a tranquil and intimate vibe yet in the centre of Angers.

Room would have been completely perfect if it were a metre or more longer and wider. As ageing travellers tea and coffee facilities in the room are important at 21 Foch you have to go down to the salon/ chill room to make a drink, which is complimentary but the room is closed from 23.00-07.00.

This is a beautiful property and very well located for discovering Angers. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with a good choice of home made and locally sourced products. The rooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to all attractions and shopping areas, with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants close by. The hotel is impeccably clean and the two gentlemen on reception were great.

We had planned to go to the restaurant that used to be attached to the hotel but it had closed. However we were given good recomendations of other restaurants to go to.

Location was ideal for other activities. Nathan was exceptional at his job. Hardly a noise could be heard in spite of being on a main road.

Nothing that bothered me

The room was lovely and spacious. The hotel is located close to the center of downtown and Le Jardin.

There’s no staff in the hotel after 8pm which can feel a little disconcerting when traveling alone.

Very good breakfast - delicious croissants, bread & coffee. Very quiet calm hotel in a good location. Elegant decor - very comfortable bed.

Towels need refreshing maybe? Otherwise all good.

A very quiet and well appointed hotel in a great location with close reach of Angers and its sights and shopping area. We enjoyed the fresh items for breakfast including a good strong pot of Irish Breakfast Tea,

We would have liked to have tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
