Room Size: The room was spacious and comfortable, providing ample space to move around and relax. Facilities: The hotel offered a good range of facilities that met our needs, making our stay convenient and enjoyable. Parking: Parking was very convenient, located right in front of the hotel entrance. It was free and did not require any prior reservation, which was a great plus. Pet-Friendly: We brought our dog with us, and there were no issues at all. The hotel was very accommodating to pets.

Cleanliness: While the room was generally fine, there were some areas where cleanliness could be improved. A bit more attention to detail in cleaning would enhance the overall experience. Breakfast: The breakfast options were somewhat limited. It was alright, but having a wider variety of choices would make it much better.

Room was spacious. The bathroom was also very spacious. They have kitchen with some cutlery and crockery, which was very useful to cook.

While booking the room thru booking.com, for some rooms the breakfast option is not included in the room. Breakfast included option is only available for few rooms . I stayed for 5 nights, and they did not clean the room even once nor provided new towels after 2-3 days. I had to use the same towel for 5 days.

The staff were friendly. The building was delightful and old, would be good to see some information on its history. The room was pleasant. We would have liked to have had some tea and coffee in the room. All other equipment was very comprehensive. The breakfast was lovely. A great stay and we would use Appart’City again.

There was no option to opt for breakfast along with room in booking com. Their room prices are very inconsistent. I booked a room for Feb in Jan 1st week and the price was €75 per night. But the same room was available at €58 per night on 29-Jan, 3 days before the actual stay date.

The room was a reasonable size, and there was a kitchen area with a hob, sink and fridge - we were so pleased to have a fridge in the hot weather. The beds were ok but I did find mine a bit hard - but I need a very soft bed and not everyone else would agree! The linen was good. The shower was roomy and the bathroom was very clean, as was the room. We found free parking opposite the hotel. When busy, you may have to wait and watch for a space.

This felt like good quality student accommodation, or a better-class hostel. Definitely a good choice for a city break where you are not spending a lot of time in the room. The apartment was at the bottom of the hill so a good 15 minute walk uphill to the town. As Angouleme is perched on top of a high hill, I can't imagine anywhere else would not have the same incline to climb to get to the town.

The hotel has everything you need for your stay. I liked the fact that there was a door to close the kitchen and bathroom area from the bedroom at night.

There are only a few parking spaces outside the front door, the rest are on waste ground across the road and unlit. The parking is not secured with a gate or barrier. The location isn't great, on a busy road though the room itself was quiet. A 500 metre steep uphill walk to the nearest shops and restaurants.

Great room, with sitting room , kitchen and bathroom, with a bath. Very attractive an airy reception area and courtyard. Tasty and convenient option of prepared meal in a jar that we could heat up in our room. Trendy riverside restaurant with good food nearby.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic because of the numbers in a small space.

The lobby of the building was absolutely beautiful (an old monastery) and a really nice place to sit and read. The apartments were clean and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. It was a plus that there was a washer and dryer we could use.

Not that we cared, but the old town is at the top of the hill, perhaps 300m, with restaurants and bars there, but it was easy to roll back down to hotel after though!!

Great location and building, plenty of space.

Room lacked any personality, with boring with walls and furniture, which ironic in a city as creative as Angoulême. Bathroom had no window or air conditioning and was awkward.
