Warm welcome from Simon who made us feel very much at home and explained everything about visiting Marrakesh. Katty (?) and staff who served us breakfast were delightful and the choice was good. Great coffee. Location in the middle of the medina so walked straight out in to the thick of things- felt very safe and the people charming .Spa on site was an added bonus and the evening Hammam we booked was brilliant

The room was a little too small for any longer than a couple of days so we struggled a bit with luggage. There are larger rooms I believe. Bit of a struggle to find the riad especially when you've just arrived but lots of people willing to help and not just for a tip.

Location is excellent, rooms big, warm and very comfortable, exceptionally helpful reception (thank so much to Madeleine on check in) and a food selection for breakfast. And great that the two small dogs able to stay too.

For a guest with mobility issues, a ramp for wheelchair access at the front door would be useful. We were allowed use the staff entrance to the garage (much appreciated). The car park is small, so advance booking strongly recommended.

Funky little hotel right in the middle of town with very helpful staff. Walking to nice restaurants and all the sights. The decor is quite wacky but I liked it very much. Parking provided overnight (I needed help to manoeuvre my car in). Large room (even though I went for a budget double) with super-clean bathroom.

There were a few lightbulbs gone in my room. The parking is really tight in an underground garage and you have to follow their instructions to the letter in how to position your car!

Fabulous place and location in the centre of the town. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Loved the decor, very quirky. We didn't have any breakfast but the breakfast area was stunning. Also parking is available which is always a great bonus. I would stay here again.

I loved everything. The only negative was the mattress was probably a little old and it sunk in the middle. Not a problem though.

This hotel is really super as a central Angouleme stay - really quirky, interesting hotel, very clean, and an absolutely perfect place to experience the beautiful old centre of the city. We had dinner at the Lion Rouge opposite, and it was fabulous. It was the National Day of Music though, so not the quietest city to be in that night - not a problem, but very lively and a lot of fun. The only thing that slightly let it down was the bed - the one in our room was quite small and a bit hard. Otherwise, we totally loved it and would happily stay here again next time we're in Angouleme.

See the comment about the bed above. I prefer a slightly softer bed, and my husband is quite tall, and felt the bed was a bit short. On a very very hot evening in June it was a bit tricky having the window open with so many people outside because of the music festival, but having said that it was great fun (and obviously not the hotel's fault they were quite noisy).

Breakfast was nice. The town is nice. Parking is cheap. The breakfast room would probably do quite well if they converted it to a cafeteria and opened it to the public.

Stayed here for a birthday celebration. Lovely staff, quirky decor and a great location. The staff went above and beyond to recover a lost item and keep it safe for my return.

The decor is quirky and made the room quite dark bit we didn’t mind it.

Visit the hotel, if you expect something different. Expect 300 years old house nicely renovated, with all comforts, what you need, but also with old floors and doors, keeping the historical moment. Location in the centre of city, nice restaurants and shops nearby.

The hotel and staff were amazing. Sulemon was on reception when we arrived and helped us immensely, he’s a wonderful member of your staff. Breakfast was excellent
