The property is situated in a wonderful location with fantastic views. Only a 4 min drive from Duras centre which has some nice cafes and eateries as well as the chateaux. A great base to drive to lots of neighbouring towns and villages which were a delight to explore.The room itself was large and beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and well maintained. Janette and Richard were excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming and full of local knowledge and recommendations.

The room was very clean, neat, with history to it. There is a swimming pool that can be seen from our window, which was also very clean, and we had a refreshing swim after walking back from the town. Richard was ever so helpful and accommodating providing a sumptuous breakfast daily as part of the the package. He let us wash our clothes in his washing machine for 10 euros. He even lit some candles for us for dinner in the garden! I could go on raving about the hospitality of Richard and Jeanette, but that would make this message too long! Thanks again!! The property is about 30 mins walk from Duras and the town, and it was a hot day. Though Richard even offered to drive us to town and we walked back.

This accommodation ticked all the boxes. Spacious bedrooms, meticulously clean, quiet, comfortable beds, ample parking including store for bikes, sizable bathroom with copious amounts of hot water, excellent breakfast and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside with only a short trip to visit the nearest town Duras. The swimming pool was clean and inviting but I did not venture in. It was the attention to detail that sets this accommodation apart from similar BnBs.

Richard & Jeanette were the most welcoming of hosts and their home is beautiful, with views to match. It is the perfect place to stay and they could not have done any more for us - nothing was too much for them. Thank you.

Richard & Jeannette were fantastic hosts, the house itself is magnificent, positioned in a superb location with beautiful views of the rural French countryside and with the added bonus of being close to the all required amenities. My room was big with a super comfy bed, the added bonus of English TV channels, a powerful shower and very good WiFi, all the things I need for a sucessful buisness trip. Breakfast is good, and I enjoyed my morning chats with Richard & Jeannette. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would 100% return. 10 out of 10 ......

Nothing to dislike

Richard & Jeanette are amazing hosts and they made so many recommendations that made our stay in Bordeaux an amazing experience. The B&B facilities were exceptional, making it feel like home. Beautiful views from the room and the lounge.

Richard and Jeanette are wonderful hosts and their home is beautiful and in a fantastic location with views across a valley. Our room was spacious and our bed very comfortable. A lovely breakfast on the terrace was the perfect start to each day and an afternoon under the shade of an acacia tree by the pool was a great way to spend the hot afternoons before going out to eat. Our only regret is that we would have stayed longer if we had known how welcoming and relaxing a place it was. We are already talking of returning next year.

Nothing to be honest

Richard and Jeanette were helpful, friendly and accommodating. the beds were very comfortable as were the pillows etc. quiet with great views and within an easy 5 minutes drive of Duras. Will be staying again

a very minor quibble - a few loose slices of meat or cheese at breakfast would have been perfect. A comfy seat to enjoy the view from the bedroom. All are very minor and will not stop us from staying again.

Our hosts Richard and Jeanette were really lovely, friendly, helpful and caring. The venue is beautiful, stylish, clean, well maintained and the pool was fabulous in the summer heat! Great breakfast on the terrace overlooking the hills, a real treat of hot croissants, fresh fruits, toasted bread, eggs and lovely jams... nothing was too much for our hosts. Thank you so much again for everything!
