This was our second stay at 52 Eymet and we look forward to returning again. Catherine and Jean Louis are fantastic hosts. They are truly passionate about making sure you thoroughly enjoy your stay with them. Full of local knowledge, tips for the best places to eat and drink. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast each morning was exceptional with fresh coffee, fruit, yoghurt, and fresh pastries - the perfect start to the day. The village of Eymet itself is such a lovely place to visit - we've now visited 3 times and each time we find new parts of the village to explore. We took the bus from Eymet to Bergerac on one of our days - 4.5 euros for a return ticket is super good value. Bergerac is well worth a visit - but maybe go on any day other than a Monday. It was very quiet as a lot of places are closed on Mondays. I can't fault 52 Eymet - we can't wait to go back.

Beautiful property with fabulous French charm. So close and convenient for everything in Eymet, yet quite cool and tranquil inside. Jean Louis and Catherine are fantastic hosts and couldn’t do enough for me. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruits pastries and tea. I was able to check in early and was greeted with warmth and kindness. When it came to time to leave, Jean Louis drove us to the airport via a beautiful trip through vineyards and past a chateau and over the view at tour des vents. Which was a wonderful end to my stay. Thank you a million times. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Our hosts could not have been more lovely and attentive. It was an outstanding service and the rooms are all luxury designs and beautiful. We would highly recommend. Breakfast was a highlight of different menus every day and it is location just off the Eyme famous square so perfect for walking to restaurants and bars. Loved it.

The hosts Jean Louis & Catherine were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us. The location was only a short walk from the main square in Eymet. Our accommodation was spacious with the best bed ever ! Breakfast was superb - served in the most quaint little courtyard. We will definitely return in a heartbeat - highly recommended. Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable 😊

This property is homey and comfortable with generously sized rooms and common areas, including a beautiful private courtyard where a lovely breakfast is served daily. The building itself is very old with thick walls and lovely features, but includes all the modern features one would expect. The dedicated proprietors provide homemade yogurt and jams along with fresh bread and fruit each day for breakfast. He even offered to iron wrinkled shirts and dresses for the destination wedding we were attending nearby. The location is perfect for a short stroll to the town square for a drink or dinner, or for exploring the beautiful countryside.

A stay at 52 Eymet is simply wonderful. Its location is ideal being just a short walk away from the main square where you'll find a great variety of restaurants and bars. And yet when you're in your room or the beautiful courtyard having breakfast it is just so peaceful. Breakfast at 52 Eymet was perfect. Fresh fruits and pastries, the best coffee you could ask for, and on a couple of days the best omelettes I think I've ever had. I can't speak highly enough of the hosts Catherine and Jean-Louis who did all they could to make our stay perfect. Jean-Louis gave us great tips for places to visit, routes to take in the car, and recommendations for the restaurants and bars. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we will return to the town and stay at 52 Eymet.

What didn't we like? Coming home.

Absolutely incredible place to stay. By far the best hosts I have ever had, nothing was ever too much for them. Ironed our outfits on the day of the wedding, picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, and stopped off to show us some incredible views on the way! These are just a few of the lovely things they done for us during our stay. Breakfast was beautiful The BnB itself was spotless, really really lovely! Looked exactly like the photos, if not better Brilliant location - Right on the square with all of the bars and restaurants (but very quiet in terms of noise at night) We will definitely visit again, even if it's just to visit the hosts! Thank for you an incredible weekend

Nothing - Everything was amazing

Jean-Louis was incredibly helpful throughout and the highlight of our trip! 52 Eymet arranged transport from the airport to the hotel and also took us to and from wedding venues we were planning to visit during our stay. On these drives he also took us to see various sites and scenic routes through the vineyards. The bnb is beautiful and has so much charm, often spending our relaxing time in the sunny courtyard. We were also given lots of recommendations and knowledge about the local area. The breakfast was great and Jean-Louis personally picked some plums for us which were amazing. Would 100% recommend to anyone and our wedding guests.

The only minor issue is fans instead of air con. It does say this on the site and the fans did suffice in the end.

Great location, just 100m up from the very popular square. Spacious well appointed bed room and en suite (we were in the red room overlooking the lovely courtyard). Breakfast each morning was lovely with fresh fruit, home made yogurt and preserves. But the lasting impression was the hospitality of our hosts, who gave us good recommendations for restaurants and activities, interspersed with great humour.

The hosts, Catherine and Jean-Louis, went out of there way to make us feel welcome and were so obliging, even letting us store our many bags and wedding dresses on check out day until we could get into our wedding venue. It made such a difference. They were friendly, informative and always available to help and had a wealth of knowledge on what to do in and around the area. The breakfast was excellent and they go out of their way to use local produce or make the produce themselves where possible. Even though 52 Eymet is on one of the main side streets leading to the square it was quiet ( we had a room at the back of the house) and has a lovely peaceful courtyard to the rear of the property (this is where breakfast is served when the weather is good). The location is excellent and at this time of the year Eymet is coming to life with the evening Food Market on Tuesday nights and the Day Market on Thursday mornings. The good thing about Eymet is the free parking and we were able to park right outside 52 Eymet. (although you do need to move it on Wednesday for the Thursday Market but its no problem as there is loads of parking. All in all a lovely place to stay with fabulous hosts.
