Lovely breakfast each morning on the terrace by the pool with freshly warmed croissants and fruit. Wonderful hosts, Jean-Marie and Sylvie who were so warm and welcoming. Jean-Marie was fantastic for recommending restaurants, local vineyards etc and helped us so much to enjoy our stay and get to know Bergerac and the Dordogne. The "Radja" suite was huge with a separate twin bedded area for our son, air conditioning, safe parking, huge bathtub and wet room shower, all beautifully decorated. Their quiet dog Oki was a hit with our son too! Location was perfect, just a short 5 minute walk to the centre of Bergerac.

I gifted this trip to my brother in law and sister, Vince and Jean Clark, so this is their review. Bergerac is a beautiful town and 'I Love Bergerac' is the perfect accommodation from which to explore the area. The rooms are fabulous, spacious and spotless. The hosts, Sylvie and Jean Marie go out of their way to make their guests very comfortable and welcome. They went out of their way to accommodate Jean's dietary needs, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast was superb and we would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely boutique hotel and the fabulous hosts. Oki is also the friendliest dog we have ever encountered. ❤️

The property was stylish and comfortable with all the facilities you could think of, in a perfect location for exploring Bergerac & the surrounding areas.. Gorgeously decorated rooms in a delightful chateaux - the garden, with a pool is an added delight, all in a central location. But what really made our stay; was our attentive, accommodating hosts, Sylvie & Jean Marie. Nothing was too much trouble…. Bikes to borrow, wine/champagne to taste, airport transfers - all on offer; with recommendations and local knowledge bountiful. Our host made our stay the most enjoyable, relaxing stay. Thank you!

Everything was fantastic - the property is very beautiful and tastefully decorated with huge rooms and bathrooms but Sylvie and Jean-Marie are simply the best hosts you could hope for - they are lovely, and are extremely welcoming to all guests. They are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble, fluent in English which was very helpful. And their dog Oki is just as lovely! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely quiet place to stay with less than 10 mins walk to the old town of Bergerac. Also just 10 mins from airport.

Absolutely nothing, it’s perfect

The location was great and the hosts Sylvie and Jean- Marie were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were very helpful. Breakfast was a real treat each morning and nicely presented, either outside in the lovely garden or inside if the weather was bad. The swimming pool was ideal to cool off in as the temperature rose and just being able to relax in the garden with a book was good. The room was spotless with lots of nice touches to make your stay extremely comfortable.

There was nothing to dislike.

The room was lovely and spacious, as was the bathroom. Really comfortable bed too. The garden is beautiful and a lovely place to sit out by the pool! Great location as it was only a short 5-10 minute walk to the historic city centre. Hosts Sylvie & Jean Marie made us feel so comfortable le as they were so welcoming and attentive, giving us their restaurant recommendations, bikes to use and driving us to and from the airport. We would absolutely recommend.

We didn’t have any negatives!!

It is a beautiful house, decorated tastefully and in a good location. For us it offered everything we love about France. The garden is an oasis of tranquillity and again planned sensitively. The breakfast room is delightful with an authentic and varied choice of foods. Our hosts were discreet, charming and very helpful. We would recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy the real France.

There was nothing to dislike

The warmth and friendliness. Sylvie,Jean Marie and Oki make you feel very welcome and part of a family. Our cases were carried upstairs and the ins and outs of the home explained. Jean Marie and Sylvie cannot do enough for you and have a wealth of information about the area to get you started on your adventures. The room was spotless and breakfast more than adequate for us. The home is just a five minute walk to the old part of the city and a handy location for setting off and enjoying the beauty of the Dordogne. A professional, but at the same time, friendly, run establishment. From our experience, we can highly recommend a stay at this lovely property.

On our visit...nothing!!!

I loved the bedrooms - they were so beautifully decorated with so much effort and with beautiful things brought back from around the world. The garden and house is just beautiful but above all the hosts Jean Marie and Sylvie were so hospitable be it from offering the guests some drinks and nibbles in the garden on Saturday to putting a birthday candle in my croissant this morning.

Everything was just perfect

Jean-Marie and Sylvie are exceptional hosts, their hospitality is second to none. The house is stunning, a perfect blend of modern, classic and historic. Everything was spotlessly clean and our room had everything we could want, towels for the pool, mosquito repellent, tea/coffee. I really cannot recommend I Love Bergerac enough. Thank you for making us so welcome.
