the property was about 30 minutes from the town centre - along a pleasant riverside walk. the property was well equipped and plenty of space for the two of us. it is located in a quiet residential district.

nothing serious - the towels could have been newer. there was no air conditioning. mosquitoes were a problem - bring a plug-in and spray.

The apartment was very well appointed and very clean and tidy and had everything we could possible want or need. I loved the location very peaceful and quite. The host was easy to contact on email and responded quickly to any quires I had.

It would have been good to have a guide to the local area in the apartment to help with orientation of local facility e.g shops and distant to travel into Bergerac.

It was a great space (better than the photos show) with good kitchen facilities and in a quiet area.

position, convenient, communication with the owner was good when needed, but never saw them face to face.

Beds were uncomfortable. No instructions folder or guidance of any sort. no smoke detector or co2 alarm. needs soundproofing from apartment downstairs.

The good thing is location - 30 minutes walk along the river to the old town. Saying this, the neighbours other side of the street were quite noisy, fortunately we did not stay in the house much. Also good thing that there is air conditioning. Big fridge, good wi fi.

When you book, you receive a message that you booked accommodation with no sheets and towels, if you need such, you pay extra. Usually the welcome pack is a bottle of water or wine, some fruit, here - amazing(!) - a roll of toilet paper, black rubbish bag and accessories for dish washing :) Overall - basic place, no curtains or blinds in the bedroom, no personal touch at all, the check in/out also without any personal contact, expect reminders to not forget to leave the cash for linen. In such beautiful town I would not book this property again.

Apartment was spacious and comfortable. The key instructions were good and apartment had a nice deck area, the street was quiet but there was little around so you definitely need a car.

Shower head had no attachment on the wall so was just loose in the bottom of shower making showering difficult. There was a message threatening a fine if guests didn’t clean apartment, this was not stated on the Booking.com website, there was insufficient cleaning products provided to do a decent clean, so not sure if expected to purchase cleaning equipment. Only 1 toilet role for 4 people for 2 nights? not any coffee/tea to allow a cuppa before driving to local supermarket.

There's a lot of space both inside and outside.

Linen was an unexpected extra cost of EURO 15 per bed. Sheets didn't fit. Ants in the bathroom made a mess of the vanity hourly. Threatening message that if the place is not clean an additional EURO30 would apply.

Basic accommodation in residential area. Allowed a dog.

Being charged 15 euros for bedding which wasn't put on bed. Duvet grubby. Plastic mattress protector very uncomfortable to sleep on. Kitchen sink area cracked and quite disgusting. Kitchen chairs piled on top of table. Sign on wall stating if it had to be cleaned, then a charge will be made of 30 euros. No bottle opener. Welcome bag with one toilet roll, cleaning sponge, dustbin bag. Not acceptable for the money paid. No coffee, tea or welcome bottle of wine which is the usual welcome gift. No hairdryer. Bed cushions grubby. No bin for recycling. Piece of plastic on kitchen table for a cloth.

The one good thing about the apartment was that it was quite close to the main town. It had good parking facilities.

I didn't like that there was no hair dryer. I text the host only to be told that so many had been stolen that he now doesn't supply one. The kitchen sinks were very badly cracked and the plastic mats to keep the sinks free of pieces of paint were absolutely disgustingly filthy & slimy. I didn't like the fact we were charged £15 per set of bedding and then £2 on top for each towel. I also wasn't happy with the sign on the wall that said if we didn't clean at the end of our stay then an extra 30 Euros would be charged. I don't expect all of these add-ons when I book with Booking.com The beds were extremely uncomfortable and moved away from the wall every time you sat up to read or just to lean against the headrest.
