The place was in an excellent position to explore the Dordogne regions. It is close to many Middle Age towns, such as Beaumont, and during the summer it is possible to have different beautiful local experiences - e.g., Marche Gourmand, historical events and so on. The structure is clean, the hosts (Anne and Bob) are very kind and offer an excellent breakfast, rich with local products. Moreover, they can also suggest local vineyards to buy and have tastings with local producers.

The owners Ann & Bob were amazing, they looked after us for our full stay. Breakfast was really fresh, tasty and there was lots of it. The property is located in a perfect location, close to major visiting villages. The rooms were clean, tidy and had all amenities. Drink and food were an option but if not, we were given many places to eat and Ann also helped with booking what we needed. The pool and relaxing area is so pretty and a great view. We could not have asked for more from this visit and would recommend to anyone wishing to visit.

There was nothing we did not like

We had a fabulous weekend here for a friend's wedding. The hospitality was exceptional; Bob and Ann are so charming and helped us with restaurant & taxi bookings, places to visit, a wine tour etc, they really couldn't have done more for us. Bardou is a pretty village on the top of a hill, well located for visiting surrounding picturesque towns and villages, and there are stunning views from the property and its pool. Breakfast was delicious and we really felt very comfortable and at home. If you get a chance to book, don't hesitate! Thank you Ann and Bob for making us feel so welcome :)

Everything about the property was amazing. The pool was wonderful, beautiful gardens. The room was spotlessly clean, with lots of nice touches. Breakfast was delicious and on a beautiful terrace, with an incredible view. Anne and Bob were extremely friendly and very helpful.

Gorgeous chamber D'hote in the middle of rural Dordogne,a few miles out of Issigeac. You need transport to get here and around. Great base to explore from; hosts a delight and facilities stylish
