The hotel is quite close to the city, just a 10-minute walk to the main river that runs through the town. The staff is truly exceptional; I've never met such friendly and upbeat people in France before. Their restaurant offers a good breakfast at an affordable price. The bed is very comfortable, and the air conditioning works very well, which was crucial for relieving the heat. I recommend it.

Our only issue was with the bathroom. The drain gets clogged during showers, and there are a few leaks that make the bathroom very wet after use.

We booked in the afternoon and the bar is closed on a Monday evening (& Sunday eve) , but the host, Micah (?spelling) came quickly when called and was very friendly and super helpful. A pleasure to meet him. Very comfortable, big bed. Good bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Micah kindly put our 2 bikes in the small rear courtyard, which was our ‘garden view’. Opposite the station for convenience and the attractive town is about 10 minutes walk.

The double bed was a little small for us we misunderstood when booking that it was a large double bed.

Mika (I think his name is) gave me a really warm welcome. He carried all my bags for me to my room and brought me a beer as soon as I was settled. He also allowed me to park my motorbike right next to the front door (next to his scooter) so I knew it would be safe. I felt like royalty! As a lone female traveller I felt safe and secure here as well as very welcome. The place is in perfect quiet position and easy to walk into the pretty medieval centre. The bar and restaurant is really clean and cosy as was my room. Big thank you to Mika for his excellent service with a smile.

Nothing to complain about

What a great welcome we got when we arrived for our overnight stay. Host is just so nice. Property is easy to find and you can park right opposite. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed, had A/C which was a blessing in the recent heatwave. Not far from the centre and the old town to have a stroll.

the location was great, the staff were really friendly which made a big difference for me because I was travelling alone with my baby. Unfortunately I didn’t catch the man’s name but the guy behind the bar/reception area went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable on my travels and I really appreciated it, so thank you if you see this!

If I have to comment, I would just mention the lack of amenities available like a kettle/some shampoos etc. it’s not a big deal. apart from that it’s totally what anyone should expect for the price, everything is totally aligned with the price of the stay so overall I’m really happy and I would return

A very clean & well presented room. Good shower. We are happy with our 2 nights stay. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Location is right in front of the train station & only 10 mins walk to the town.

Would be nice to have tea / coffee making facilities but not a big issue. You can buy drinks downstairs restraint & bring to your room

Location, for me, was perfect. Opposite the railway station and also the bus stop (and taxis) for the airport. The hotel was a 10-15 minute walk into the old town centre area. It was a clean/simple hotel offering good value for money for my one night stay in Bergerac.

They key for the room was was difficult to remove from the lock. A minor issue.

Comfortable, clean room with extremely lovely and helpful owner and his staff. Good bar and restaurant, with continental breakfast served individually 'with a smile' as we say in my country. Outside open hours, one does have to be able to use codes and possibly call the owner upon 1st arrival (as advertised.) 10- 15 minute walk to amenities and the sites.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the centre of Bergerac. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Good value for money….the rooms are small but clean, the shower room seemed recently updated..perhaps a little TLC for the overall decor would be a good thing. Free parking in the station car park across the street.
