Location..within easy walking distance of centre of Bergerac and only 7 Kms from the airport Staff ..very friendly and helpful Parking..off road behind the hotel building ..nice and safe Room..large enough and functional, clean with good shower, controllable Air Con + tv and tea/coffee facilities. Room tidied every day Breakfast ..a good continental breakfast with a good choice ..and cool still and sparkling water available all day Swimming Pool...it has a nice large clean pool in a quiet spot in the garden ..ideal for chilling out

We had no issues...in fact on our return from visiting another location for a week we booked in again for 2 nights before flying back to Scotland

We booked this hotel on a whim and are so glad we did. We have travelled to a few different hotels in the Dordogne and ended in Bordeaux. This hotel is the best we stayed in by a long shot. From first arriving and having a secure car park to park our rental car, to the friendly reception staff, everhthing was smooth and easy. The room was clean and had lots of space - our room actually had a smaller bedroom with bunk beds which we were able to use for our large suitcases. The breakfast sets you up nicely for the day. The pool has to be the best thing about this hotel. It is clean, extremely well maintained and looked after. A lot of other hotel guests clearly went on tours or to wander round Bergerac so we essentially had our own private pool at times which was excellent. The garden is also very well maintained so makes the area look even prettier.

A good visit to Bergerac. Swift check-in and check-out, very nice helpful people at check-in and at breakfast. Nice clean room, quiet location at the back of the hotel. The very effective air-con and the swimming pool/sun loungers were a refreshing bonus given the unusually hot weather at the time of visit. Extensive and very tasty buffet-style continental breakfast (at extra cost). Good location, only a short (5 minute) walk to the Notre Dame de Bergerac church for the Saturday Market on Saturday, or 10 minutes to the riverfront.

No elevator to upper floors (only stairs), so probably not 100% suitable for anyone with reduced mobility.

We took advantage of cheap Ryanair flights from Edinburgh to Bergerac. This hotel was ideal for our three night stay. Easy access to town centre and railway station yet in a quiet location. Extremely friendly welcome, nice bedroom with separate toilet and shower room. Comfortable bed and breakfast was very good value for €10 per person. Purified chilled water freely available. Staff most helpful all the time. No hesitation in recommending this hotel but beware that transportation from airport to town is challenging. You are arriving at a very rural airport. Taxis are rare and must be booked. Don’t expect buses to solve this problem

The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the train station so day trips to Bordeaux and Sarlat were easy. There is a bakery and large supermarket in the next street for ease as well as a pharmacy. The hotel is located in a quiet area just 5 minutes walk from the old town. It is kept immaculately clean, the rooms are compact but perfectly functional. The window shutters help with a fantastic nights sleep and there’s plenty of storage. The pool area was beautiful and restaurant modern and bright. Staff work incredibly hard to keep this hotel in top condition.

The manager was very welcoming (and fit: he carried my very heavy case upstairs - note: no lift) with great speed! AND he spoke English! The room was clean and mainly comfortable. I'd just mention 2 niggles: the pillows were very saggy and there wasn't much space to put toiletries in the shower room. The actual shower was excellent- once I'd worked out how to use it. N.B. there is no shower cap so if you want to use the overhead 'rain shower' take your own. The other smaller shower packs a punch though. The loo was separate, which is also a plus. The breakfast was good: bread, pastries, cereals, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, coffee and fruit juice. Parking is secure and on ground level. It costs 5€ per day. (Oct '24) The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the town centre. It is an interesting old town with splendid buildings and lots of cafés and restaurants to suit all budgets.

The rooms had recently been refurbished and there were old photos on Booking.com. The beds were super comfy and we hadn't expected a kettle in our room so that was a very pleasant surprise- the hotel is 10mins walk to the centre of the old town and 5mins from the railway station so its easy to access Bordeaux, Sarlat etc for exploring further afield. Water dispenser on the bar allowed you to have fresh drinking water and you were able to fill gin sized bottles to take water to your room- ecologically sound as well as convenient

The hostess was amazing. Nothing was too much of a problem. Very helpful and friendly. We loved the pool and the rooms were fresh and clean.

It was away from the town but close enough to walk. Did t look like a nice place when we pulled up. But we were wrong the inside is beautiful,clean and friendly. The staff so helpful and nothing was a bother. Air conditioning was brilliant. It had a lovely pool at the back of the car park.

The bathroom had no fan so got very hot and above the shower a vent had fallen open which was originally taped shut. Needed to be sorted out.

Room as expected, typical 3 star French hotel room, very clean throughout. Breakfast usual content and adequate.cold water on tap was a bonus during 38 degree temps. Staff very helpful and smiley, sorted our problems with plane cancellations and helped find alternative hotel for extra nights…

So not in the prettiest part of town but still a short walk to the historical Center. Felt very safe..
