A wonderful, understated and calm environment. The place felt peaceful and almost still. The staff were so accommodating of our young children (2 & 6). A lovely relaxing few days after a busy time in Disneyland Paris!

Lack of understanding around food options before arrival. Plan ahead re breakfast and ordering dinner options.

The room, grounds and facilities were amazing! A real highlight was sipping champagne in the outside hot tub as the sun went down. The beds were also incredibly comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a very relaxing location and a great base to explore the nearby city, wineries and châteaux. The pool was a little cold but we went early May, so I imagine it's very refreshing in the height of summer.

Apart from taxis there are no other frequent methods to get anywhere nearby if you didn't come by car, so would recommend driving there! However, Uber from Tours reaches the château, so we had no problems booking them whenever needed.

A beautiful setting - very romantic. Lots of history and the grounds were stunning. Our cottage was very private and away from the main house and accommodation. Easy to park and unpack. We travelled with four dogs and the only suggestion would be to make the walled garden totally secure (but not a big problem). We loved having the pet rabbit wondering about and also the bantams at the bottom of the garden. The number of frogs in the pond was insane! The staff were very friendly and helpful when I was trying to make a booking work for our return journey.

This property has been beautifully decorated and renovated and is made of different types of accommodations from hotel room in the chateau, gite on the ground and converted stable. This is where we stayed and this duplex appartment was comfortable and made with good quality of materials. The swimming pool is beautiful and the nordic bath looks dreamy.

The breakfast provided was made of good local products presented in a beautiful hamper, however it felt expensive as we got charged the same amount for our 3 year old kid as an adult, and at the same time we didn’t get 3 times the amount of breakfast (1 baguette in total, 2 eggs, but 3 yoghurts and pastries…) so it’s a bit confusing and definitely a point to take into consideration as this is more expensive that some other high standard hotels where we stayed at.

The breakfast was served in a quite original way and it had all that is needed. You could offer the opportunity to prepare an omelette or scrambled eggs. The environment is really beautifil. The room as well. The staff was very nice. Excelent location for those who want to stay close to the castles and the city of Tours.

We miss the air conditioning although we understand that the owners may not want to install it not to change the concept of the building. The mirror in our bathroom was placed to high. The doors of the wardrobe of our room do not macht with the style of the room.

Ohhhh my, the combination of old world charm with modern luxuries at this castle was amazing. Beautiful room; huge luxurious bathroom, GORGEOUS pool to cool off after a hot day visiting the local castles of Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau

Because the hotel is quite new,, things are still getting set up a bit - it was difficult to find staff to help us; and there's no phone in the room. Our dinner order didn't get through the first night... And despite being seemingly in the middle of nowhere, there was loud music from somewhere nearby at night.

Everything! Lisa greeted us kindly at reception. She showed us to our spacious, immaculate room and also delivered our delicious breakfast the following morning. We were only here one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. The castle was open to see, which we enjoyed.

Fantastic location and building, beautiful, nicely upgraded, with tasteful modernisation. Plenty of parking. Staff very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Breakfast only available in your room or outside, and extremely expensive. We opted out of this. They also offer evening food, which again only in room or outside, and for what was nice, but nothing complicated or elaborate (we heard microwave ping) was incredibly expensive.

Stunning location literally could not ask for more...staff lovely not cheap, but as expected and didn't feel ripped off. Highly highly recommend.

There was nothing to dislike at all....only thing could be that the forms on breakfast could of been emailed as an option to pre-fill, but that is just a preference....

Excellent experience from check-in, during all stay, and to the check-out. Super friendly staff, fantastic chateau, fantastic swimming pool and pool area. Highly recommend.

On the Booking it was written heated swimming pool, but it was not.
