Good location for an overnight stop off the motorway. Bedroom was fairly basic but clean. Dog friendly rooms but unfortunately not allowed in the restaurant. Good free parking. Excellent bakery nearby.

Its a pity dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant as we would have liked to eat there.

Really nice simple hotel and such friendly staff! Excellent dinner and breakfast and great value for money. Will definitely stay again.

Room was a little small but fine fir one night. Check in doesn't open til 17.00. Not a problem for us but something to note.

It was a convenient overnight stop on a long journey. Our car was loaded with skis and luggage so we appreciated the semi-private carpark behind the hotel

Enjoyed our comfortable stay in a quiet village. Breakfast was very good and it was a shame that we could not have dinner there (closed Sundays) as their menu looked nice. Instructions to enter the property while the reception was closed were very clear.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was good and very reasonably priced. Would recommend a stay here.

We have stayed here several times and it is always enjoyable and excellent value. We were especially lucky this time as they had a moules evening. Many of the villagers were present it was a great atmosphere with super food.

We were late and staff helped us to check-in even after check-in hours. The room was clean, comfortable bad.

Breakfast was not well in terms of diversity. Boiled eggs, several types of cheese and jam, bread and that's all.
