Very close to motorway. Great place to spend the night on our way back home to Germany. I liked that the butter, jam, the honey etc. weren't in little plastic individual boxes but in jars from which you could take the amount you needed, which is more environmentally friendly. They produce their own honey, that's also nice. Lovely croissants. You could cook your eggs for the amount of minutes you want. The staff was very friendly. There islawn outside and trees so you see green when you look out of the window. The parking is locked at night so we felt better about leaving stuff in the car.

The property was easily accessible (by car) and is located in the outskirts of Blois. There is plenty of space to park. The staff were very friendly and we were greeted with a warm welcome after a hard day's travel. They even recommended us an excellent restaurant just behind the property where we ended up having dinner. The breakfast was basic but plentiful and satisfactory. They were especially friendly with kids. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable.

An ideal hotel for an overnight stay. Good parking, large bed, good shower, and pleasant, helpful staff.

The bed was up against the wall on one side, making it difficult to get out of bed for one person. Behind each head was a recess to put articles on, but it was not comfortable if you tried to sit up to watch the TV.

The First Inn is strategically located near Blois. It's a basic hotel: the rooms are bare bones and the setting is prozaic, between different office buildings. But then... The beds are excellent, the rooms are super clean and have airco. The place is also silent. What we particularly likes is that the staff really try to do something with the place: they have a bee hive nearby, they keep 2 chicken, they provide for late-night snacks, all breakfast tables have their own little plant on it... You can rent outdoor games like pétanque for a few euros, but also electric bikes. The ample parking space is protected during the night.

Breakfast is extremely basic (but the coffee is excellent). Breakfast would also be nicer if there was a bit more greenery around the terrace, e.g. some trees, to give a sense of privacy.

Good size room, well equipped, in a quiet are, with free parking. A/C is working fine and a big plus in a hot day. I did not had the breakfast - but that's only because I'm not a big fan of french-style breakfast, otherwise, as I seen it + the price, I'd say is maybe a good idea to have it included (also because you'll not be able to find alternatives around).

Hotel is out of town, in an industrial area. You'll need car to go in the town. If you're not a big fan of french-style breakfast hotels are including , then is not easy to find alternatives in the area.

Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Plenty of parking spaces. There was indeed a separate toilet room and normal shower with a door. Hot water/ pressure very good. Breakfast was exactly what we needed: Coffee, croissants, muesli, jams, homemade honey, fruit. For a 2-star hotel, this place exceeded our expectations.

Fitting suitcase was a bit tight.

Good value for the price. The hotel is in a sort of commercial less touristical area but ideally situated from the travelling point of view.

Very good budget hotel. Clean. Excellent, friendly and efficient staff.

The lights from the WC show into the bed section (no separation), so room is slightly lit at night when someone goes to the wc. Room design is strange (not the staff's fault, of course), but still functional. The cappuccino (general coffee machine) has chocolate in it. Why?!?

The property is clean with separated WC and bathroom which is convenient. We also appreciate the free parking. The receptionist is friendly.

The location is rather far away from the city center. Check-in at 17:00 is way too late.

The hotel was perfect for our stop-and-go stay. It is next to the highway and the code system allows you arriving at any time. The room was clean, spacious enough and equipped with the basic furniture for a short stay. The bed was large and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

If any complaint, the price was a bit too high for us considering that we just stopped for sleeping. Being a small family of 3 people we had to occupy two double rooms which made our stay somehow expensive. Also, I would suggest to equip the rooms with a small fridge to help the traveller to conserve his/her food items over night.
